Solidarity Night
πππππ x ππ πππππ’π―π’π¬πππ¨π₯π₯ππππ’π―π
MAGMA is an event series erupting from Berlinβs underground, built to shine a light on every corner of the bass spectrum. We invite selectors to flex their own definition of bass music, creating a space to feel the full weight and variety of the sub-frequencies. From drum and bass and jungle to electro, grime and dubstep, through polyrhythmic and experimental sounds and global rhythms. Expect the rawest cuts in the cityβs most intimate venues.
On the 6th of November, MAGMA joins forces with the πππ ππππ’π―π’π¬πππ¨π₯π₯ππππ’π―π for a night of solidarity. All the money we raise will support a comradeβs family who are being evacuated from Pakistan.
The evening opens with a discussion on βBorders of Violence: Afghanistan, Pakistan, Balochistan, Colonialism, and Displacement,β followed by a performance (tbc), and then the DJs take over the dancefloor.
A community kitchen will keep everyone energized, and weβll put together a special drink menu for the occasion.
Weβre happy to be welcomed by ππ₯π¨ππ€π, our cozy home for the night. There will also be a little chillout area outside the venue if you need a rest.
Head over to MAGMA on Instagram, where weβll introduce each artist playing on the night.
Much Love
MAGMA
*if money is a barrier, we have a small number of community tickets available. Write to us at πππ.π¦ππ π¦π@π π¦ππ’π₯.ππ¨π¦ and weβll sort it out together :)

the whole biography
Originating from Italy and Indonesia, Tempestfeather is a music selector, writer, events curator, and radio host based in Berlin. Since stepping onto the scene in 2022, she has become a fixture in the underground circuit, recognized for her forward-thinking, groovy, and refined selections. She has performed at standout events like Tresor's New Faces and Motherβs Finest at OXI, and clubs including OHM, Gretchen, and Fitzroy; and played on radio stations including Refuge Worldwide, Noods, Balamii, and Canino FM. As a core member of Green Roomβa bass-focused collective and event series with a UK slantβsheβs also carved out a vital role within Berlinβs underground music community. Holding a monthly residency at Berlin listening bar YSY, she curates SWIRL β a space to explore her eclectic music crate and welcome artists who resonate with its adventurous spirit. Tempestfeatherβs idiosyncratic sound was conceived in Cairo, shaped in London, and refined in Berlin. Channeling her background as a third-culture kid, writer, and poet, her dynamic DJ sets unfold like storiesβfluid, layered, and emotionally resonant. A dedicated digger and sonic explorer, she expertly weaves everything from bass, dubstep, electro, breaks, and drumβn bass, through to house, driving techno, UKG, and experimental textures, refusing to settle into any single mould. As the host of poetry-driven βSonic Stanzaββa spoken poetry and music showβon Refuge Worldwide, she curates intimate and immersive soundscapes that reflect her deep passion for storytelling, and for rhythm and sound. Drawing on her roots as a vocalist and guitarist, her dedication to artistic expression transcends mediums β and is in constant flux.Recently at Minimal Bar, YSY, Der Kegel Β· often with Dub Isotope, Migz, Scre_wy, none of them here on Friday
