Yasmin Umay brings her warm, voice-led sound to Tausend Live, moving between contemporary R&B, hip-hop, neo-soul and jazz. Berlin-based and shaped by her German-Turkish background, her music carries both nostalgia and forward motion, with poetic songwriting, soft grooves and a clear sense of emotional presence.
Her sound sits close to the golden era of 90s R&B and hip-hop, while still feeling current and intimate. With performances across Germany, France, Switzerland and Mexico, plus recent international attention through SXSW London, Yasmin continues to establish herself as one of the quietly rising voices in Berlin’s neo-soul and R&B landscape.
Joining her is afrodisiac, a Berlin-based DJ, music curator and cultural producer with a deep sense for storytelling and atmosphere. Her selections move through soulful, spiritual and uplifting sounds, guided by musical lineages from the Black Atlantic to the Black Cosmos.

Afrodisiac is a DJ driven by feeling, shaping sets that pull people in and keep them moving. Flowing from house to ever-expanding influences, she focuses less on genre and more on the moments that connect the dance floor, building momentum that’s hard to step away from. Whether it’s opening, playing peak time, or closing out the night, Afrodisiac shapes with intention, balancing intensity to create an ever-evolving experience. There is a natural flow to her style, blending familiar sounds with left turns that keep dancers on their toes and deep in the groove. Clocking eight years behind the decks, she’s performed across Australia and become a steady presence in Naarm’s club and festival circuit.
