xPOLLYx is an artist who has always sought to incorporate a sense of exclusion and differentiation from the imposed society into his music. The essence of his concept and style lies in the lack of representation in what the world offers today. His goal is to create a shared sense of belonging through extreme sounds that reflect his vision and identity in defiance of an imposed system: distortion, spontaneity, and rejection of institutions. A sense of disapproval and irreverence has been an integral part of his artistic formation from the very beginning, which he expresses through fast, distorted, and frenetic music As his artistic identity solidified, for better or worse, xPOLLYx made it clear that there are no half-measures in what he does. Being one of the driving forces behind bringing techno culture to Vienna in 1991 as DJ, producer and organizer, he departed from this style soon after to move on to further less explored and harsher fields of electronic dance music for the next years. His turn towards experimental electronic music in the second half of the nineties went hand in hand with getting into programming his own music software. He uses this knowledge since then for computer based live performances and teaching at various Universities and education facilities. Around 2012 he started to reintegrate beats into his live performances creating a dynamic collage of abstract soundscapes and heavy, bodily music. His early-90ies Rave prank-duo ILSA GOLD ( together with Christopher Just) was the first internationally acknowledged Austrian techno act and is still occasionally active. Mauro aka Dusk_Beat, a Producer and DJ based in Milan (IT), has spent several years exploring and experimenting along the edges of electronic music—ranging from Techno to Electro/Breakbeat and Industrial. Today, He has shaped a distinctive sound rooted in the concept of magnetism, which reflects the intensity which He experiences in the underground club culture. With this concept, He captures the primal depth that comes alive only in total immersion on the Dancefloor, seeking the true spirit of the club experience. He made his debut with the single “Ost” released on Pitch Track, a sub-label of the Roman imprint Blackbore Rec. On 14 October 2025, he released his EP “Tonal Shift” on Diffuse Reality Records, a project that delves into immersive and evolving soundscapes, exploring deep, hypnotic textures and dynamic rhythms designed to reflect the magnetic intensity of the underground club experience . His influences span from the Berlin electronic scene of Helena Hauf, to the hypnotic techno of Dasha Rush, the experimental approach of Jako Jako, the darker atmospheres of British artist Samuel Kerridge, and the French experimentation of François X.
