Berlin party crew Honest Work attracted a surprising amount of attention delivering house and tech-house on a night where there usually wasn't much else going on in the city. With the impending closure of Phantom Bar, the crew packs up and heads to Neukölln.
The new venue preserves the late-night, wild aspects of the previous party while bringing it closer to their clientele.
Playing will be DJs Eluzid, John Crosby, and Omar Sherif; all stalwarts from past events. Joining as a special guest is local digger Gregorio Dissette, a name known to many in the CdV/Sonnenraum/local record store-nerd scene.
The Honest Work parties attract an interesting mix of city kids, music heads and late night party denizens. It's a solid bet for those looking for fun on a Thursday night, especially those for whom quality music is an important ingredient.

You may know him as a DJ resident at Berlin's notorious Phantom Bar. Or as part of some nebulous warehouse parties that happen deep in the woods outside of the city. John Crosby is the name of a guy from Atlanta who's been collecting records and throwing parties for years, usually with an ear towards proper underground techno, house, and bass music. Along with Anja, he runs the Honest Work show on THF Radio at the Tempelhof Airport. He's played at clubs like CDV, Renate, Else, and Golden Gate among others.Recently at Phantom Bar Berlin, Renate · often with Immy, ABSINTH, Pino Peña, none of them here on Thursday
“Lush chords, shimmering delays, classic dub echoes, and reverberating vocals and synths this is more than just a sonic palette; it’s the blueprint for Omar's signature sound.”

Lush chords, shimmering delays, classic dub echoes, and reverberating vocals and synths this is more than just a sonic palette; it’s the blueprint for Omar's signature sound. Rooted in simplicity yet rich in emotional resonance, his music radiates a feel-good energy that connects deeply and instantly. At its core, Omar’s sound is a heartfelt homage a soulful callback to the roots of dance music, where timelessness, swing, and warmth reign supreme.Last at ÆDEN in Jun · often with Maize, Ponygirl, .JKM, none of them here on Thursday
