Talker
High school friends Jonathan Krohn and Karl Meier formed Talker in 2013, forged over a shared appreciation for post-punk and electronic music. Their first collaborative effort, “Cut The Weight (Pts. I & II)” for the “Halha” compilation on Downwards, led to another 12” and full-length for Karl O’Connor’s esteemed Downwards imprint, as well as a series of remixes for labels such as Eye Teeth and Horizontal Ground. Live performances followed, at the acclaimed Berlin Atonal festival, as well as London’s Fabric and New York’s The Bunker.

Their rooms
One tick a night, on the one axis this page has — Aug 2023, where the listings start, to Jan 2027, the last night anybody has announced. The shaded end has not happened yet.
- Bossa Nova Civic ClubAug 2023 – Mar 20262 nights
Once each: Jupiter Disco, Silence Please, Rash, Metropolitan Bar, Trans-Pecos, The Deep End and Telephone. Two of the 11 listings never named a room, and are not counted as one.
Who they play with
Counted from the bills themselves, over bills of twelve names or fewer. A pair's count includes a night that is announced and not yet played; where there is one, the row says when.
