Nema Hän

47 listings in 13 named rooms, over the last three years · one ahead · South Korea

Expanding on their passion for electronic music and sound design in Berlin before returning to New York where they’ve been cutting teeth redefining their own ways of finding and blending records. As a DJ, Nema Hän is known for their genre-fluid extended vinyl sets bridging the gaps between the past, the present and emerging sounds. Exhibiting their approach to life and creative processes through their psychedelic and emotionally expansive selections that are timeless and playfully curious. They are also part of a collaborative project: DJ SYNCLAIRE, a duo of dedicated diggers known for their fierce synergy of genre melting quest, charged with atemporal gems.

Their rooms

One tick a night, on the one axis this page has — Aug 2023, where the listings start, to Jan 2027, the last night anybody has announced. The shaded end has not happened yet.

Aug 2023Jan 2027

Once each: public records, MAD Radio NYC, Honey's, H0L0 and Elsewhere. Seven of the 48 listings never named a room, and are not counted as one.

Who they play with

Counted from the bills themselves, over bills of twelve names or fewer. A pair's count includes a night that is announced and not yet played; where there is one, the row says when.

DJ SYNCLAIRE has stood on 11 of these bills. DJ SYNCLAIRE is one of the names Nema Hän records under, so they are named here rather than counted as company. — their aliases on Resident Advisor
