Adham Gaama
Adham is a New York-based DJ and selector whose sound is rooted in his upbringing across Alexandria, San Diego and Dubai — never quite settling into a single identity. At the core of everything he plays is a relentless search for the groove — his sets move through house, disco, funk, electro, and 2000s tech house, with the occasional detour into minimal, held together by a fondness for dubby basslines and hypnotic percussion that pulls you toward the floor before you've decided to move.
His entry point was French Touch — that Parisian alchemy of making funk feel futuristic — and while his palette has grown considerably since, that instinct for finding warmth and groove in unexpected places never left. He juggles the upbeat and the underground, building sonic landscapes that feel obscure and familiar all at once, cultivating trips for both the dancer and the listener.
He's the founder of Connaissance Collective, a New York crew built around the belief that good sound, a good purpose and community aren't mutually exclusive. The collective throws events focused on quality audio programming while raising funds for local NYC initiatives, and has developed partnerships with Richemont, Cartier, and Chloe along the way. He's also launched Taul Boy Records, where he serves as VP of Promotion — a label that has brought him alongside artists like JKriv, Amine K, Lovie, Papa Soul, DUK and TONAK.
The rest of it — one more paragraph
In New York, Adham holds a residency at Nublu — the storied Lower East Side club that has served as a launchpad for some of the city's most respected selectors. Beyond Nublu, he's built a steady presence across rooms like House of YES, Jupiter Disco, 99 Scott, Her Name Was Carmen, and Honey's. Outside the city, his bookings have taken him to Stereo and Kasheme in Zurich, Bar 808 in Toronto, Durocher in Montreal, Arbella in Chicago, El Techo in DC, Firehouse in San Diego, Brazzaville in Beirut, and Ushuaia in Dubai, with dates in Ivory Coast rounding out a genuinely international footprint. He's played Art Basel Miami, opened for Tokimonsta at the world's first NFT Gallery in Los Angeles in 2021, and continued to grow a circuit that stretches well past where he started.
