Born in Guadalajara and now based in New York City, Jimbo has been curating forbidden records and building his vinyl collection since 2019 — guided by instinct, raw passion, and an unbreakable connection to music. In 2020, he naturally evolved into production, crafting melancholic, authentic, and timeless sounds, always outside of trends or formulas. Founder of Sonido Wey (established in 2021), Jimbo’s sets navigate through house, minimal, and broken rhythms with a sharp ear and an honest pulse — shaped by countless dancefloors, long journeys, and a tireless search for feeling over perfection.”
