Monib
Monib is a DJ, producer, and multidisciplinary artist based in Montreal, originally born in Qatar with Palestinian roots. Their sound is a bold fusion of nostalgic pop, vogue beats, underground electronic textures, and Middle Eastern ballads—blending cultural memory with experimental edge. Drawing from a palette that spans Top 40 hits to club subcultures, Monib crafts sonic experiences that are both emotionally charged and genre-defying.
The 'ROCKSTAR' EP, was praised by PAPER Magazine as “each track is unlike the last, as the artist plunges into extreme, yet tender, expression.” With a growing discography of distinctive releases, Monib continues to carve out a space where vulnerability meets high-impact sound design. They are also the founder of Hauterageous Worldwide—an experimental music platform that champions forward-thinking electronic artists from around the globe. With a devoted following in Montreal, New York, and Toronto, the series has become known for its visceral energy and boundary-pushing curation.
