NightNight
NightNight is the electronic project from Yasmeen Night, residing in Brooklyn, NY.
The project draws influence from her predecessors such as Chelsea Wolfe, Fever Ray, Depeche Mode and Massive Attack. Her upcoming full length release More Weight, is produced by Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Einstürzende Neubauten, Nick Cave). The album uses modular synths, found sounds, and live instrumentation to transport the listener to a place where we ask hard questions and seek for truth.
NightNight has previously released material produced by the legendary Sylvia Massy (Prince, Tool, System Of A Down) and Jeff Berner from Psychic TV. Her first full length album Love Decayed spawned a remix EP featuring Void Visions and John Fryer
Additionally, Yasmeen plays bass and synths in the New York indie band The Wants.
