Notar
Based in St. Petersburg, FL, Notar is known locally for thoughtful, groove-driven sets, rooted in intention, flowing between the depths of minimal and house.
His value lies in a blend of crate-dug gems and ethereal tracks that evoke a sense of soul and timeless energy. Influenced by artists like Dyed Soundorom, Kevin Yost, and Inland Knights, he has a knack for creating a unique blend of sultry rhythms and infectious grooves. Leaning into deep chords and groovy baselines, he aspires to: inspire, create “moments” on the dance floor, and fall into a stream of consciousness built for movement and connection.
He is the founder of the Garden Groove, a free, house music driven event series designed to build community outside of traditional nightlife. He’s also the co-founder of Selek.fl, an independent, minimal-leaning collective prioritizing select tracks and illicit grooves
