Through a descent into personal evolution, cultural enrichment and inner listening, Mama Boo absorbed rhythms and textures that felt less discovered than remembered. Her approach is both intentional and instinctual guided by unique aesthetic and taste for emotional depth, complexity and transformation. Standing at the edge of genres and genres of edge, she dives into syncopated rhythms of UK Garage, Drum&Bass and Jungle in her sets, and her musical selections are heavily influenced by deep, soulful vibrations of the African continent, the Caribbean and distant lands. Her vision is not about an escape - but a return: to the body, emotion and spirit. Each set is a story and an invitation for reflection and release.
