Alex Cecil
There’s a version of dance music education that happens in conservatories, and a different one that happens at 6am when the system’s still running and the crowd hasn’t slept. Alex Cecil got both.
NiteLite Music founder and label head. His classical background doesn’t show up as polish, it shows up as architecture. Builds that go somewhere. Arrangements with real bones, not loops stacked on loops, moving between indie dance, house, and techno like genre lines are optional.
Not chasing a sound. Building one.

Their rooms
One tick a night, on the one axis this page has — Aug 2023, where the listings start, to Jan 2027, the last night anybody has announced. The shaded end has not happened yet.

Once each: The Onyx Room at House of Yes, Lillistar and Nebula. One of the 13 listings never named a room, and is not counted as one.
Who they play with
Counted from the bills themselves, over bills of twelve names or fewer. A pair's count includes a night that is announced and not yet played; where there is one, the row says when.
