Talia Goddess (Tayahna Walcott) is a 23-year-old multidisciplinary artist from Brooklyn, New York, now based in London. A self-taught musician, producer, DJ, and creative director, her versatile artistry has catapulted her to prominence as an exciting young visionary shaping the future of music, art, and creative entrepreneurship. Born to immigrant parents from Guyana and London, her work is heavily influenced by contemporary Afro-diasporic culture — fusing ancestral roots with modern techniques to navigate hybridized identities and champion self-authorship within cultural narratives, especially from underrepresented voices. Through her independent label Trance Records, she has released two musical projects, Poster Girl and DOWN 2 EARTH, which have amassed over 4 million streams globally. Wemi is a NYC Born and raised native with Nigerian heritage. She is an international Model, DJ, and Producer who has graced many campaigns for Banana Republic, CoverGirl, Times Square, and Target just to name a few. She has had many DJ installations in New York, Miami, LA, Dubai, Capetown, South Africa, and Accra, Ghana. In 2018, Wemi released her first single as a producer called "BitterSweet" ft. ADH. Currently, she hosts a series of parties for NY Fashion week during the seasons called “UrConfirmed” which she launched in 2019.
