their own biography
the whole biography
As one of the co-founders of Hessle Audio, Ben UFO has been responsible, alongside Pearson Sound and Pangaea, for some of the most varied and ground breaking releases of recent years. Having become immersed in the still emerging dubstep scenes in London and Leeds in 2005, his musical taste was shaped primarily by the DMZ and Sub Dub nights taking place in those cities. However, as tastes have shifted and scenes have fragmented, Ben UFO's approach to the music and to Hessle Audio itself has developed. As BPMs have dropped and influences have broadened, so too has the vision of Ben UFO's DJing. He remains one of the few DJs in the UK to have made an impact without a production career to fall back on, and as such his reputation is solely the result of his skill as a selector and as a mixer. As a result he remains in a position to fully explore sounds both old and new, across the worlds of house and garage, dubstep and grime, and further into the past. This level of commitment to the dance music of the last two decades has led to a collection of records which reflects the position London has long held as a city responsible for the constant development of forward thinking music. This is not to say that his focus is primarily on the sounds of the old school, as Ben UFO is looked to as one of the leading figures supporting up and coming producers. He was the first DJ to play material by producers such as Blawan and Joy Orbison, both now scene figureheads, and his weekly slot on London's leading ex-pirate radio station, RinseFM, is considered to be one of the only places to hear the most exclusive new music by both new and established producers. In addition to well received podcasts in magazines and websites as varied as Resident Advisor, XLR8R, Red Bull Music Academy and Fact Magazine, 2011 was the year that Ben UFO entered the world of commercially released mix CDs. His contribution to the respected RinseFM series was widely praised for its coherence despite the breadth of styles showcased, and he was placed #35 in a Resident Advisor readers’ poll to find the years best DJ. It’s a result which reflects Ben UFO’s ability to successfully present unfamiliar, experimental dance music to a diverse variety of audiences worldwide.Their RA profile lists Hessle Audio.often with Helena Hauff, Shvili, Emsho, none of them here that night

With their slow-stepping, spacious urban dubscapes, Space Afrika harness ambient, Detroit techno and shades of early nineties Sheffield with a fresh and open approach to composition — this is dub techno stripped-down, sealed in a time capsule and sent back from the near future. Driving, echo-laden deep beats form the bed for a heavily subaquatic sound palette with undercurrents of cybernetic dread. Friends for almost 2 decades, the two Joshuas formed Space Afrika after years of listening to music together, sequestered by harsh Northern winters. Heavily inspired by the industrial architecture of Northwest England and notions of travel, their sonic framework evokes images of rust and disintegrating concrete, and sensations of movement and redemption — exuding a distorted analogue soul offering escape into their overcast skies. Closely associated with Brighton/London label, Where to Now?, who slink along a vintage axis of post-punk, On-U Sound, minimal and no wave influences, Space Afrika's diverse and creative radio shows (notably their residencies on NTS and Reform Radio) also display a breadth of curiosities in experimental and avant-garde music, old and new.Their RA profile lists Where To Now?, Dais Records and Sferic.often with Dopplereffekt, Nardus Williams, Hildur Guðnadóttir, none of them here that night
“BEIGE by name but definitely not by nature, the DJ’s 2022 set at the beloved Honcho Campout is a perfect example of their singular appeal.”
their own biography
the whole biography
BEIGE by name but definitely not by nature, the DJ’s 2022 set at the beloved Honcho Campout is a perfect example of their singular appeal. A meandering journey through murky house cuts, swaggering funk, dreamy indie dance and unapologetic pop, it also never veers too far into chinstroke territory — Talking Heads, The Pussycat Dolls, Frank Ocean, Tina Turner and Dolly Parton all make unexpected appearances in various guises. “It’s about playing with tension and contrast,” says BEIGE, “bringing in things that the audience are familiar with and seeing how you can subvert them, so maybe you recognize the vocal but it's with arrangements you've never heard before.” Based in Detroit and vinyl-trained, BEIGE specializes in multi-hued, carefully considered and highly danceable sets such as this. Whether they’re playing smooth R&B and downtempo soul, crunchy electro, cheeky disco edits or oddball tech house, the only constant in their sets is quality. They made their club debut proper in Detroit in 2017, immediately grabbing the attention of the cognoscenti with their wide-ranging, on-point selections and silky, inventive transitions. Uninterested in gimmickry or self-promotion, they prefer to let their work speak for itself, collecting a growing number of fans and increasingly impressive bookings along the way. BEIGE grew up moving around the US but their musical journey really began in Melbourne, Australia, where they lived for a year after college in 2013. The Melbourne electronic music scene was thriving and BEIGE was introduced to festival culture and a spectrum of sounds they’d never heard before. They’d attempted to learn a few instruments while growing up but nothing stuck, and while music had always been a passion, expressed through making mix CDs for friends and scouring MySpace for new musical discoveries, they never aspired to a career as a DJ. That happened by accident, when they crossed paths with feminist DJ network Seraphine Collective in their new home of Detroit in 2015. Seraphine was offering sliding-scale vinyl DJing workshops, and BEIGE caught the bug instantly. “We would just go to each other's houses and spend hours round robining with random dollar bin records and it was purely for fun, which I’m grateful for,” they say. “If I ever had a notion in my mind that I was trying to do this professionally or for a particular reason I think it would have poisoned it from the start.” Before long, however, BEIGE graduated from playing friends’ parties to their first real gig at Detroit’s Temple Bar and shortly afterwards, an all-vinyl set at Marble Bar with the late, great Mike Huckaby in February 2018. It was a defining moment that also marked the beginning of BEIGE’s professional career — i.e. being paid to DJ in Detroit two-three times weekly, as well as more regularly in places like New York. They hold down a residency at Brooklyn’s renowned The Lot radio and are regularly booked for the city’s most forward-thinking parties at venues such as Nowadays, Good Room and Mansions. Their biggest boost, however, came via the support of esteemed DJs and producers Eris Drew and Octo Octa, who recognized in BEIGE a special talent. The T4T LUV NRG label owners began booking BEIGE to play parties and a Boiler Room with them, then released BEIGE’s AMEN! Volume 1 mixtape in April 2022. A showstopping devotional party mix covering more than three decades and many variants of house music, it highlighted BEIGE’s technical skill and savvy alongside their impeccable taste. They debuted at Detroit’s Movement Festival that same year and have been on a hot streak ever since, embarking on their first international tour early in 2023 which included stops at Berlin’s Panorama Bar and Amsterdam’s De School. BEIGE returned to Movement Festival as part of a marathon of gigging over Memorial Day weekend in Detroit this year, culminating in a sunrise back to back set with Octo Octa to close the celebrated Return to the Source event for New York institution The Bunker. Other scheduled 2023 highlights include a return to Europe to play Body Movements festival in London and Draaimolen Festival in the Netherlands, and their first appearance at the coveted Sustain Release festival in upstate New York. As likely to play a huge hit as to introduce you to your new favorite track, BEIGE occupies an important niche between their stuffier and less imaginative peers. When the conditions are right, they endeavor to create transcendental dancefloor moments akin to opening a wormhole, “where everybody in the room is collectively participating in this consciousness-melding experience and I'm just the conductor.” Armed with a healthy disrespect for genre and convention and a discerning but unpretentious music collection, BEIGE aims to please, but more commonly thrills, delights, and inspires.Their RA profile lists T4T LUV NRG.Last at BASEMENT in Aug · often with SPRKLBB, Josh Steers, tINI, none of them here that night

“Sedef Adasï has spent years refining a style that is both unpredictable and precise—shaped by instinct rather than formula.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Sedef Adasï has spent years refining a style that is both unpredictable and precise—shaped by instinct rather than formula. Her sets go beyond simple selections, evolving into a language between artist and audience. With elegance and ease, she moves fluidly between house, acid, and rhythmic textures, blending raw energy with refinement to create a sound that feels both dynamic and defined. Her sets unfold in real time, guided by the rhythm, movement, and shifting energy of the dancefloor. Born and raised in Augsburg, Adasï resisted the allure of major urban centers, using her local foundation to create something new for her city. This decision led to HAMAM Nights, the party series she launched in 2017 that has since gained international resonance. From the intimate City Club Augsburg to Berghain’s Panorama Bar, Hammam Nights returns to the essence of club culture, creating spaces of warmth, unity, and collective energy. A resident at both Munich’s Blitz Club and Berghain / Panorama Bar, Adasï sculpts nights that are unrepeatable and deeply felt. She moves through sound with instinctive precision, creating an ongoing dialogue with the dancefloor. More than a decade into her journey, she continues to push the boundaries of club music, treating each set as a dynamic exchange—where sound, space, and collective energy come together to create something unique and lasting.Their RA profile lists Permanent Vacation, Public Possession, Freeride Millenium and KALT Records.often with Berghain, Gabrielle Kwarteng, Steffi, none of them here that night

“Spekki Webu was born into contrast, half Afro-American, half German, raised in the Netherlands and shaped by a history of black music.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Spekki Webu was born into contrast, half Afro-American, half German, raised in the Netherlands and shaped by a history of black music. Long before he became the artist he is today, he was already listening deeply. Exploring scenes. Observing people. Absorbing stories. What started as curiosity turned into devotion, not to genres, but to a psychedelic stream of sound that refuses to be boxed. Moving through the formative underground of hardcore and freeparty culture, Spekki embraced experimentation from an early age. Making music and playing records were never career moves, but natural extensions of his lifelong observation practice. He didn’t chase styles; he time-traveled through them. Carrying forward what mattered, leaving behind what didn’t. Music became a lifestyle. Freedom became method. Both on and off stage, Spekki is known for his explosive energy and direct presence, yet beneath it lives a profound sensitivity for community and spirituality. Through his Mirror Zone label, he welcomes talented outliers into a space where differences can exist and sound has many colors. As he often states, “Mirror Zone is a mirror of life,” reflecting the introspective vision behind his label and audiovisual projects such as Signal Transmutations. Today, Spekki operates at the forefront of the global electronic music scene while remaining grounded in the same values that shaped him decades ago: autonomy and creative freedom. “Don’t let yourself be fooled into thinking you belong in one place. Stay open-minded.” Like a reptile shedding its skin, his transformative craft is an open invitation to step into ever-evolving states of sound.Their RA profile lists Blue Hour, MIRROR ZONE, Amniote, positivesource and 4 more.often with Ellen Allien, Lilian Stark, Carmen Electro, none of them here that night

After getting her start performing at underground poetry events in her hometown, she eventually moved on to playing live beat sets during open mic nights at one of KC's most pivotal queer nightlife institutions of the 21st century, the Uptown Arts Bar. Occasionally she'd wander upstairs to Niche, a 100-cap club with a legendary sound system known as the Meta HiFi. There she got her first taste of the sounds of the UK bass continuum and the LA beat scene, with its prominent figureheads like Flying Lotus, Ras G and Shlohmo. Ever the nomad, she would spend her mid-twenties traveling, flitting between cities like New York and LA and the mountainous terrain of the Colorado Rockies. At 26 years old, she left behind a stable career in psychotherapy to pursue her creative dreams. This would lead her back to Niche where a ravenous desire to evolve as an artist connected her with Peter Anthony, aka Coughman, who ran the independent KC collective and label, Intelligent Sound. Soon Anthony encouraged Zo and her friends Mazzy Mann and Lorelei Kretsinger to build a platform of their own. In October 2017, the three of them founded the UN/TUCK queer/trans collective and record label. Over the next two years, they tirelessly built UN/TUCK into an internationally recognized platform, releasing their own music and organizing shows and parties curated specifically for trans and queer people in Kansas City. Under the name BTRFLY, Zo produced her own LA-inspired beats and rapped over them in her sets. As she delved further into the realms of Chicago house, early 2000s UK dubstep, and the hybrid sounds of Hessle Audio, Hyperdub and Idle Hands, she discovered a profound love for DJing and a different kind of production. Now based in Brooklyn, she has made definitive creative statements in 2022, releasing her debut EP, Screw Cheek, on acclaimed UK club label, Scuffed Recordings, and a follow-up EP, Freak Shift, on Martyn's hallowed 3024 imprint, as well as a slew of national bookings at Bunker NY, Texture Detroit, Sole Rehab, clubs like Nowadays, Good Room and Kremwerk, festivals like Slingshot and Honcho Campout and many more on the horizon. It's clear that Zo has solidified her place as an emerging artist firmly in her own lane, with tracks that span the continuum of UK bass and North American techno and house, and mixes that seamlessly capture and defy her genres of interest, blending deep dark percussive bass and broken beat with blistering techno, psychedelic house, east coast club and more.Techno on 24, Bass Music on 22, Breaks on 17 and House on 17. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Clasico Records (2) (1), Delusional Records (2) (1) and Grid (6) (1); their RA profile also lists Pineapple Records, 3024, Fever AM, Scuffed Recordings and 1 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Apollo Studio, Paragon, Good Room · often with Mui Mui, Sheepshead, Saia, none of them here that night

the whole biography
GiGi FM is a multidisciplinary artist, DJ, dancer, and music producer whose journey began in the underground squat raves of South London. Now based in Berlin, GiGi has grown into a dynamic force in electronic music, captivating audiences at iconic stages and festivals worldwide. Whether blending techno, bass, and breaks or creating immersive ambient soundscapes, GiGi FM’s sets are a masterful exploration of versatility and emotional depth, transporting dancefloors into states of ecstasy. Now in her sixth year as a resident on NTS Radio, GiGi FM continues to explore sonic dimensions and share her unique musical palette. Her show is a space for deep inner journeys, weaving emotional storytelling through sound. Over the years, she has hosted esteemed guests such as Donato Dozzy, Voices From the Lake, Jako Jako & Mareena, and Vladimir Ivkovic, with many more to come. Each episode reflects GiGi’s ability to curate a shared space for introspection, transcendence, and collective experience through music. Movement has always been central to GiGi’s creative practice. A professionally trained dancer (Paris Opera & Alvin Ailey), she approaches music production as an extension of the body, often incorporating gestural techniques to create sound. Her 2022 EP Magnetite on Bambounou’s Bambe label was crafted using a MYO motion sensor, where arm gestures layered sounds in real time, embodying the interplay between physicality and sonic expression. This innovative approach flows into her self-released series, Kiwi Synthesis Diary, beginning with Vol. 1 in 2021, a deeply personal project born from using Ableton as a journal. Its successor, Kiwi Synthesis Diary Vol. 2 (2023), marked the launch of her own label, Sea~rène, a platform for euphoric, boundary-pushing soundscapes. Her most recent release, Movimiento (2024), expands on this narrative. The EP celebrates the transformative energy of dance, blending vibrant club rhythms with introspective sound design. It’s a body of work that encapsulates GiGi’s ethos: to create music that moves both body and mind. Deeply influenced by astrology, philosophy, and the cosmos, GiGi FM’s artistry bridges sound, movement, and metaphysics. In addition to her DJ sets and productions, she is developing a live ambient project linking meditation, reflection, her own poetry, and productions to craft deeply immersive experiences. Whether on the dancefloor or in moments of stillness, GiGi’s work invites audiences to connect with themselves and the universe around them. In 2025, GiGi FM continues to tour globally, including her first Australia tour and an extensive US tour, while releasing new music and curating innovative projects. Ever-evolving, she remains dedicated to crafting music and experiences that inspire reflection, transcendence, and joy.Their RA profile lists Bambe and Sea~rène.often with Berghain, Altinbas, Efdemin, none of them here that night

As an artist, Batu continually strikes out on his own. Rightly hailed for his distinctive slant on modernist techno and experimental club music, he’s also prolific beyond the dancefloor. His is a sound marked out by bold shapes and angular expressions, whether strapped to physical rhythms or not. His 2022 debut album Opal took his accomplished sound design into broader spheres of expression, while production work for FKA Twigs saw him approaching pop sensibilities with his non-conformist sonic palette. As well as his production work, Batu’s presence as a DJ on the international club and festival circuit touches on venerated events such as Glastonbury, Dekmantel Festival, Sonar and Unsound. The flexibility in his sound also translates to the intimacy of smaller underground events - an environment which remains inspiring even as he graces some of the biggest stages for electronic music globally. Beyond sonics, his interests expand into visual work too, having produced and directed the video to his own track ‘Solace’ and collaborated on an A/V composition with Harry Butt for his Crack Magazine cover feature - one of multiple cover features he’s been placed on. Taken alongside his music, Batu’s holistic engagement with electronic music culture adds up to a considered spectrum of output and efforts with a shared aim - to push things forward.Their RA profile lists XL Recordings, Hessle Audio, Livity Sound, Timedance and 1 more.often with JASSS, KAVARI, Dj Babatr, none of them here that night

Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Clarisa Kimskii has cemented her musical footprint on the borough since moving back in 2022. Through a palpable blend of psychedelic and driving techno, Clarisa’s approach to the genre is deeply idiosyncratic - an assemblage of both timeless and modern grooves. As a producer, Clarisa has contributed to a handful of respected labels (Monday Off, Dusk & Haze, Mysteries of the Deep, etc.) within her sonic niche, but it’s through her own label L.A.G where the ethos of her sound truly takes form - a detailed variation of propulsive and atmospheric soundscapes. Clarisa is deeply rooted in the techno subculture’s underground, and in early 2022 - the 20+ year veteran was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based, queer party Merge. Through her former residency at Merge and regular appearances at the city’s premiere institutions in BASEMENT Nowadays and Bossa Nova Civic Club Clarisa’s prestige is undeniably felt. Her pure, yet passionate approach to DJing has graced the decks of memorable nights at international institutions in Berlin's Berghain, Tbilisi's Khidi, and at notably iconic parties in Wrecked, Club Toilet, and The Bunker NY. Recent festival appearances at Taiwan’s Organik Festival and North America’s Honcho Campout, Sustain-Release, Whole Festival , Draaimolen and The Great Beyond have only elevated her reputation as a force within those respective communities. “Aaron J has been quietly reimagining the deeper currents of dance music for over a decade.”

the whole biography
Aaron J has been quietly reimagining the deeper currents of dance music for over a decade. The seasoned DJ has cultivated his own milieu of lucid, empathic sound both through his renowned work as a selector and as curator of the record label, podcast, and event series Sure Thing. Currently based in Brooklyn, Aaron has been a pillar of scenes throughout the US including Boston, LA, the Pacific Northwest, and San Francisco, where Sure Thing was founded. He draws from these experiences across the continent to develop his distinct sound, synthesizing an expansive set of environments and sonic sensibilities into a new whole. He grounds the rhythmic language of bass and dub in the personal and ancient, beguiling listeners into states of hypnosis through tracks marked by intricate sound design and a delicate romanticism. Aaron’s expert control of narrative is particularly showcased in his longform sets, where he challenges listeners into unfamiliar places of feeling and movement while holding just enough space for them to do so. Aaron’s masterful sense of pacing and his emotional acuity as a DJ are inextricably linked, as evidenced by highlight performances at Sustain-Release and Monument Festival and a nod from Resident Advisor as one of techno’s “best kept secrets.” Feeling is at the core of his work, expressed and explored through endless variation of texture and rhythm. Sets move through distinct passages distinguished by hazy boundaries. Tracks are layered atop one another, with a constant consideration to balance, between energy and restraint, momentum and introspection, turbulence and relief. The flow of time becomes obscured in a phantom forest of sonic patterns that push at the edges of perception, acting as a foil for one’s own latent feelings to unfurl. Beyond the boundaries of tempo or genre, Aaron brings listeners fully into their senses by tying together subtle threads of emotion, with the poise of a DJ who can at once witness past, present, and future affective states of the dance floors he guides. “Lena Willikens doesn’t play the hits.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Lena Willikens doesn’t play the hits. When she’s behind the decks, even her biggest fans often have no idea exactly what she’s playing, and that’s part of the magic. Like all DJs, Willikens of course has a passion for records and is always on the hunt for elusive bits of music, but as an artist, her work doesn’t hinge on any one track, or even a handful of tracks. She’s after something bigger, something that’s truly transportive for those on the dancefloor, and the tracks she plays – whether they’re bizarre slices of synth exploration, some ominously churning proto-industrial stomp or something else that simply defies classification – are all parts of a larger, more psychically satisfying whole. Born and raised in Germany, Willikens first honed her unique approach during a long residency at Düsseldorf’s Salon des Amateurs, a much-loved nightspot that has proven to be a hotbed of free-thinking DJ talent. Outside of the club, she also found a platform on Radio Cómeme, where her Sentimental Flashback radio show allowed Willikens to dive deep into all sorts of unusual musical wormholes. (The Cómeme label was also home to her first EP, 2015's Phantom Delia.) These days, however, Willikens' radio adventures happen on NTS, where she pilots the monthly Lightning Conductor program. Now based in Amsterdam, her curatory prowess prompted an invite from Dekmantel to put together the fifth installment of their acclaimed Selectors compilation series, and she also contributed a track to the label’s run of all-star 10th anniversary EPs. As a remixer, she's been tapped in recent years to rework the likes of Lena Platonos, rRoxymore, S U R V I V E, Simian Mobile Disco and Ana Helder, amongst others. And amidst all this activity, she's also been busy with Phantom Kino Ballett, a collaboration with artist Sarah Szczesny that lands somewhere between immersive audio-visual experience and performance art, allowing Willikens to indulge her transportive impulses in a completely new way. Nevertheless, it’s in the DJ booth where Willikens continues to make the biggest impact. As of late, she’s forged a particularly potent partnership with fellow sonic explorer and Salon des Amateurs alum Vladimir Ivkovic, the two engaging in a sort of mind meld that brings together their shared love of electronic music’s darkest and most bizarre corners. Regardless of whether she’s playing alone or in tandem with someone else, Willikens isn’t the kind of artist who adheres to straight lines. Expect different temperatures, different moods and a dollop of chaos, just to keep things interesting. Circuitous paths take precedence over direct routes, and although not even Willikens herself always knows the final destination, when she’s at the helm, the journey is bound to be thrilling. “Vladimir Ivkovic is a DJ.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Vladimir Ivkovic is a DJ. He’s more than that of course, but as his essence, Ivkovic is someone with a particularly unique talent for selecting records and weaving them into a larger – and often unusually compelling – narrative. Born and raised in Belgrade, he first dabbled in DJing as a teenager in the mid ’80s, but it was only after leaving Yugoslavia (to study in Germany) and later coming back for a summertime visit that he truly immersed himself in the craft, taking up position behind the decks during a series of impromptu parties at a lakeside restaurant owned by his parents. From there, he spent much of the next two decades honing his skills while throwing events like Selected and Substance that played host to a cross-section of boundary-pushing DJs, long before it was fashionable to do so. Eventually, Ivkovic found his musical and spiritual home at Salon des Amateurs, an unassuming spot in Düsseldorf that’s gradually proven to be wildly influential, giving rise in recent years to otherworldly talents like Lena Willikens, Tolouse Low Trax, Jan Schulte and many others, including Ivkovic himself. With its small size, Salon des Amateurs provided something of an open platform, a place where true music lovers could experience DJs exploring sounds and genres that strayed far from traditional electronic dance music tropes. That same adventurous spirit has found its way into Ivkovic’s curation of Offen Music, a label he launched in 2015. Although the imprint’s output is all but impossible to neatly categorize – experimental Serbian rarities sit alongside ambient excursions and moody synth-pop in the label’s catalogue – the label’s open-minded approach and embrace of off-kilter sounds perfectly encapsulates Ivkovic’s artistic temperament. In recent years, that temperament has increasingly found devoted followers all around the globe. Simply put, Ivkovic has become a staple of the European club circuit; despite his many years in the humble confines of Salon des Amateurs, he’s proven to be just as comfortable at celebrated nightspots like De School (Amsterdam), Berghain (Berlin), Nitsa (Barcelona), Kaiku (Helsinki), Sub Club (Glasgow), Phonox (London), Fold (London), Corsica Studios (London), The White Hotel (Manchester), Mutabor (Moscow), Pacha (Ibiza), Blitz (Munich), Zukunft (Zurich), Concrete (Paris), Lux Fragil (Lisbon), Robert Johnson (Frankfurt), Circoloco (Ibiza) and others too numerous to list. He’s no stranger to touring either, having taken extended DJ trips to Canada (September 2017), Asia (July 2018), Australia (January 2018), Brazil and Colombia (March 2018), USA (2019, April 2022, 2023 and 2024), Brazil (September 2022). Even the festival circuit has come calling, inviting Ivkovic and his inventive rhythms to large-scale events like Primavera Sound, Unsound, World Minimal Music, Houghton, Strange Sounds from Beyond, Dekmantel, Flow, TodaysArt, Robot, Waking Life, Terraforma, Dancity, Positive Education, Elevate, Love International, Dimensions, Kala, Sziget, The Crave, and special gatherings like Convenanza … and that’s just a partial list. Still, despite all of these international adventures, Ivkovic has kept his focus on music, especially the dark and often psychedelic sounds that lurk in its unexplored corners. Each month, he distilled some of that love into Lunatic Love Songs, a much-loved and sonically borderless program on Red Bull Radio. He still does it with his frequent contributions for Noods Radio, Kiosk Radio, Oddity Radio or ROVR to name a few. Whether he’s broadcasting on the radio or piloting the dancefloor, Ivkovic is someone who applies a curatorial mindset and a deep love of music to all of his creative exploits. Yes, he’s a DJ, but he’s so much more than that; he’s a storyteller, a connoisseur and, most importantly, an artist.Experimental on 6, Ambient on 5, New Wave on 3 and Industrial on 3. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on A Colourful Storm (1), Berceuse Heroique (1) and Fleetway Tapes (1); their RA profile also lists Versatile Records, Offen Music and Above Board. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileoften with cotton, Eamon Harkin, Juliana Huxtable, none of them here that night
