This success has been in the works ever since Eliza began working at Shoreditch’s Flashback Records aged 15, coming to circle East London’s clubs and festivals as a DJ. Inspired by vocal icons including Nina Simone and Amy Winehouse as well as golden age R&B such as Aaliyah and Destiny’s Child, plus the sketchy garage raves she started going to when underage, her love of vinyl found her amassing a collection of her own, digging for gems old and new that she knows will make the dancefloor go off. Now armed with a hybrid DJ-plus-vocals show that pays homage to queer culture’s importance in dance music, and new productions that she’s working on, Eliza is ready for the next chapter. With MOBO and Brit nominations, plaques, magazine covers and a world tour under her belt, she’s straddling both the underground and global superstardom.Their RA profile lists Silver Bear, Rosebud Recordings and Peaky Beats Records.often with LOVEFOXY, LACATY, Bambounou, none of them here that night

jaql is a stalwart member of the bubbling jungle scene in NYC. Through a common thread of break beats, texture seeking and wobbly basslines she is keen on world building via her sets. She runs a party series titled ‘Jaywalking’ which grew out of a deep yearning to hear more jungle on local dance floors. Beyond platforming local and name brand jungle DJs, Jaywalking also looks to foster the sound in new ways, inviting people who don't normally play jungle to interpret the sound. She is a member of 123, a collective and DIY venue based in Brooklyn hosting a wide range of events from weeknight socials to full blown raves featuring 123’s well-loved basement soundsystem. She has supported Tim Reaper, Dwarde, Sully, Dev/Null, CCL, Objekt and many more spangled line ups in recent years.Last at Bossa Nova Civic Club in Sep · often with Poisonfrog, Don-Ri, Just Jeff, none of them here that night
