“Saqib is a creative force.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Saqib is a creative force. A DJ’s DJ, a deep digger of musical gems, a producer of equally unique gems, and a community builder. First and foremost a guitarist, bass player and drummer who grew up in the world of rock and metal from a young age in Pakistan, Saqib is a producer whose tracks transcend genre, era, hype, and scene. They speak the language of dance. With close to a hundred releases over the past decade he has slowly created a sound unto himself and a devoted following. It is a sound that crosses boundaries between house, techno, indie dance, hip hop, Bollywood, Lahore, Brooklyn, Detroit and Berlin mixed with some secret sauce known only to the man himself. Moving to New York City to play shoulder-to-shoulder with the best in the world, Saqib has shared the decks and earned plays from artists like Danny Tenaglia, Jamie Jones, Adam Ten, Blond:ish, Adriatique, Mita Gami, Bedouin, Lee Burridge, Robag Wruhme and so many more. His records, released on labels including Abracadabra, Maccabi House, Kindisch, Flying Circus, Get Physical, Sol Selectas, and Echolette, reflect a spectrum of musical sensibility that can only be described as UNIQUE… earning him a spot as one of of 1001 Tracklists’ Top 100 Producers and a regular spot in the Beatport top 10 in multiple genres. During the pandemic Saqib became a resident artist of Blondish:ish’s Abracadabra releasing music, doing A+R, and hosting a weekly twitch stream created entirely on his own called “Love Jams” that started a devoted following around his sound. In 2022 he started his own label ‘Beats On Time’, a Brooklyn-based indie dance imprint uplifting local and international artists alike. Whether at Brooklyn Mirage, Knockdown Center, a rooftop or a dimly-lit basement, Saqib leads the floor with his unique sound. A unique one who marches to the beat of his own drum and we all dance with him.Their RA profile lists Get Physical Music, Flying Circus, Kindisch Records, Intimate Project Music and 4 more.often with Sana, Nhii, Taylor Bradford, none of them here that night

With a rebellious, unrestrained approach, her productions explore the boundaries of electronic music through promiscuous sonic experimentation. Helang combines synth-wave inspired, grungy basslines topped off with sultry vocals that result in a seductive sonic synergy driving deep into her listeners' cores. While not overtly feminine, her music exudes a boldness and strength that challenges traditional paradigms in the male-dominated world of dance music. Thus far, Helang has released on European imprints such as Manual Music and Stress Records, with 2023 seeing the launch of her very own "Dauntless Records". She has shared the stage with industry leaders including Eric Prydz, Testpilot, Hi-Lo, Camelphat, John Digweed, Layton Giordani, Mathame, while her music has garnered support from the likes of Maceo Plex, Marco Faraone, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Karotte + more. She has recently earned attention from impactful titles, with media placements in DJ Mag, Forbes, Beatportal, YourEDM, and 6am Group. Helang's mission is to create music that provocatively puts a voice to her experiences as a bold, uncompromising artist, inspiring others through her uninhibited expression.Their RA profile lists Manual Music, Stress Records and HE.SHE.THEY.
