Born in Cali, Colombia and raised in New York City, DJ and producer Hovy is a steadily making his mark in electronic music. His journey into sound began while studying Film and Cinematography, where a sound design course sparked a deeper fascination with audio and music creation. That experience led him to immerse himself in sound design and scoring, creating original work for a wide range of visual projects including films, fashion editorials, and commercial productions. Through this process, Hovy collaborated with artists and creatives at all levels worldwide, shaping a detailed and cinematic approach to sound that continues to influence his music today.
