However, to pigeonhole Boris only to Berlin would be doing him a disservice. Sharlese is a Seattle-based DJ and radio host who thrives on the unexpected, crafting elegant dialogues between genres—from electro and EBM to Italo and techno. She has earned a reputation for weaving intricate, emotionally charged sets on dance floors around the world, with appearances at Tresor, Panorama Bar, Nowadays, MÜLL SF, and Grauzone. Her acclaimed DJ mixes for respected platforms such as KIHDI, BITE, and Pi Pi Pi shine a light on darker, often overlooked sonic realms. For the past 18 years, Sharlese has been an integral part of KEXP, where she currently serves as Producer for The Afternoon Show, Programming Education Manager, and host of Mechanical Breakdown—a program dedicated to off-the-cuff, boundary-pushing underground music. She began DJing in 2012 as a resident at Seattle’s industrial wave event, an experience that—along with hosting shows at Electric Tea Garden—laid the foundation for her live event series False Prophet. For nearly a decade, the series has supported both emerging and established artists, including ADULT., Nuovo Testamento, Xeno & Oaklander, Kris Baha, and Spike Hellis. Sharlese also curates Audiodrome, a monthly party held on the second Saturday at the historic Pony in Seattle. Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Clarisa Kimskii has cemented her musical footprint on the borough since moving back in 2022. Through a palpable blend of psychedelic and driving techno, Clarisa’s approach to the genre is deeply idiosyncratic - an assemblage of both timeless and modern grooves. As a producer, Clarisa has contributed to a handful of respected labels (Monday Off, Dusk & Haze, Mysteries of the Deep, etc.) within her sonic niche, but it’s through her own label L.A.G where the ethos of her sound truly takes form - a detailed variation of propulsive and atmospheric soundscapes. Clarisa is deeply rooted in the techno subculture’s underground, and in early 2022 - the 20+ year veteran was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based, queer party Merge. Through her former residency at Merge and regular appearances at the city’s premiere institutions in BASEMENT Nowadays and Bossa Nova Civic Club Clarisa’s prestige is undeniably felt. Her pure, yet passionate approach to DJing has graced the decks of memorable nights at international institutions in Berlin's Berghain, Tbilisi's Khidi, and at notably iconic parties in Wrecked, Club Toilet, and The Bunker NY. Spanish DJ and producer, Ne/Re/A, a fixture of Brooklyn's teeming techno ecosystem for more than 10 years, has a distinctly energetic approach to the genre - relentless groove and unapologetically timeless. In 2021, Ne/Re/A was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based queer party, MERGE, which has served as a musical home and has allowed her to explore the depths of her sonic palette alongside a sophisticated rolodex of the genre's legends. She has played alongside DVS1, Boris, Phase Fatale, Wata Igarashi, Takaaki Itoh and Ancient Methods (to name a few). She cut her teeth as the founder and resident DJ of Distrikt1, the monthly weeknight party at Brooklyn's historic Bossa Nova Civic Club. She's played reputable parties in New York - Unter, Wrecked, Bound and many nights at the city's premiere institutions in BASEMENT, Nowadays, and Paragon. She's played at Berlin's Tresor, Pornceptual, Gegen and at the iconic queer pilgrimage, Whole Festival, BULTO and Video Club in Colombia and Brutal in Mexico City. Her collaborative project, Name Names, with DC-based DJ and producer Juana explores the darker shades of her repertoire, where driving propulsive techno are at the forefront. In 2025, her prowess grows, Ne/Re/A makes her debut in Asia at Taiwan's highly-regarded Organik Festival and Seoul's Volnost, plays notable parties in New York like Wire Festival, Berlin and South America, and continues her residency with MERGE. As a producer Ne/Re/A sharply blends industrial and EBM with melodic techno into her own concoction - a heady assemblage of punch and drive. In 2025 she just released a collaborative track with Clarisa Kimskii in Phase Fatale's BITE record label.In 2024 she released two new tracks for Maison Fauna “In the Dark” and Infra “Piercing the veil”.
