Members Jimmy Vallance and Tom Howie knew one another from the Vancouver high school they both attended and were drawn together thanks to a shared love of pop-punk bands like Rancid and Green Day. Adulthood found them both in Brooklyn, with Vallance recording Berlin-styled techno while Howie worked in the realm of the singer/songwriter. Both felt musically stuck and hungered for something new, a problem solved by the simple union of their styles, which created something cool and decidedly "post-club." Named after the urban planner who designed the modern New York City, they became Bob Moses and joined the Scissor & Thread label in 2012 with the EP Hand to Hold. The Far from the Tree EP followed on the label in 2013, then a year later the group released the First to Cry EP on Domino. In 2015, the label gathered up all the duo's early EPs for the compilation All in All and also released their debut album, Days Gone By.

Since the release of his 2022 album ‘Fragments,’ Bonobo, AKA Simon Green, also released three dancefloor singles on his OUTLIER imprint with Ninja Tune in "Defender," "ATK," and "Fold," which was alongside Jacques Greene and also curated multiple global OUTLIER DJ events. The collective spirit that Bonobo has created with OUTLIER shows his continued influence as a DJ and also the reverence a new generation of artists hold for his own releases. DJ line ups over the last year have included Barry Can't Swim, Sofia Kourtesis, salute, Kelly Lee Owens, Mall Grab, DJ Tennis, TSHA, DJ Koze, Dixon, SG Lewis, Young Marco, Kerri Chandler, Carlita, Elkka, HAAi, John Talabot, Paula Tape amongst others. The 15,000 capacity event at Drumsheds in London was the fastest selling event of the season.. Bonobo also went b2b with Disclosure at their inaugural Friends & Family pop-up in LA. The 'Fragments' album live band tour was seen by an audience of over 750,000 across four continents between headline shows and festival appearances such as Glastonbury, Sonar and Fuji Rock. Bonobo also co-headlined Field Day alongside Aphex Twin in London in 2023 as well as topping two separate Printworks sets. To celebrate the one year anniversary of Bonobo’s 5-night residency at London’s Royal Albert Hall, an official film of the performance, which has over 1.4 million views so far, was released. The residency at the Royal Albert Hall became the longest continuous run of performances for a solo musician, and the longest run ever for an electronic artist. The last night of the residency included a viral moment with the organist Anna Lapwood during “Otomo” which has over 6.5M views on TikTok alone. Another huge moment in 2024 was his hyped b2b set with Barry Can’t Swim at Coachella and a total stage shutdown of LEVELS at Glastonbury where a consistent 2000 people were queuing just to get in. Bonobo now shares the record for the most nominations, Seven, in the Dance/Electronic Recording category at the GRAMMY’s with The Chemical Brothers and Madonna. ‘Fragments’ was also nominated for his first BRITs Award for Best Dance Act in 2023. ‘Fragments’ hit #3 on Billboard’s Top Dance / Electronic Albums chart and #5 on the Official UK Albums Chart amongst other worldwide chart entries, follow up on his previous album ‘Migration’ also hitting the UK Top 5. He performed ‘Fragments’ album highlights on his debut NPR Tiny Desk and additional coverage came from Pitchfork, SPIN, Zane Lowe, The FADER, Billboard, and print magazine cover stories with DJ Mag and Electronic Musician. The album led NPR Music to rave, “the grooves cut so deep…it has so much life in it, it makes you want to move.” The Observer deemed it a “brilliant, wondrous work,” giving it 5 out of 5 stars. Over his career Bonobo has worked with a wide range of artists including Erykah Badu and Jon Hopkins, as well as remixing Gorillaz and Michael Kiwanuka, with his catalogue accumulating over 2.7 billion plays on streaming services and selling north of 900,000 albums. In early 2024 Bonobo also spent a week in Mexico making music with Damon Albarn and his Africa Express project which also included Ezra Collective and worked on the score for Cowboy Bebop creator Shinichirō Watanabe's forthcoming series, Lazarus (TBC 2024 release).

  • Miss Monique

    Ukraine · 4 bookings since Oct 2023

    “Miss Monique is miss unique.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Miss Monique is miss unique. A Ukrainian DJ, producer and label owner who’s a YouTube, clubland and streaming phenomenon, with over 200 million cumulative views and almost 800,000 monthly Spotify listeners. A trailblazing artist in the progress/melodic space with a huge online following hooked on her exquisitely crafted and produced livestreams – the most recent instalment of her filmed MiMo Podcast, number 042, a 70-minute Melodic Techno & House DJ Mix, had one million views within a month. A talent incubator and champion in her own right: this year Siona Records, Miss Monique’s home for other young progressive artists, celebrates its fifth anniversary. Her Siona Records 3rd Anniversary @ Ibiza mix, launched on YT in June 2022, has been viewed almost 19.5 million times. A fast-rising international performing phenom, drawing huge audiences from Argentina (4500 tickets sold for her last show in Rosario), to Canada (her 2022 set at Montreal’s Biosphere Museum for Cercle is also online, with five million views and counting), to Ibiza (multiple annual shows at multiple venues) to the US (she’s just been announced for Coachella 2024), to the UK – she’ll be appearing alongside CamelPhat at this summer’s Junction 2 festival in London, a show trailed by the honour of an upcoming Essential Mix for Pete Tong. "That's an honour, and I'm very nervous, of course!" she admits. "And very excited at the same time." And Miss Monique is a breakthrough recording artist who cut through in 2023. Building on the success of her 2022 remix of Sied van Riel's Rush (the most-sold progressive house track on Beatport that year), last year she remixed Sorry by BLOND:ISH featuring Madonna and Ringo by Lufthaus, Robbie Williams’s dance project with Tim Metcalfe and Flynn Francis. And she released three big singles of her own: Subterranean, The Morning After (with Paul Thomas) and City Boy. Those artist releases came via Adam Beyer’s techno label Drumcode and Armin Van Burren’s more trance-driven Armada. Factor in her proven ability to remix across the electronic spectrum and collaborate with producers and vocalists such as Avira and Luna (both on Subterranean), and it all speaks to another game-changing aspect of Miss Monique’s skillset: her effortless ability to shapeshift between genres and sounds. Little wonder that she recently signed to WME, and is a 2024 priority act for the powerhouse Los Angeles-based agency’s Electronic Division. This, then, is Miss Monique’s kaleidoscopic world. It’s a space where her signature green hair (an accidentally iconic look now much-copied by fans) is far from the only colour in the creative palette of an effervescent, positivity-promoting artist who prioritises good mental and physical health. Those ideas are also at the heart, sonically and metaphorically, of her epically uplifting, powerfully percussive latest track, Veselka. Long teased as the opener in her sets, the instrumental was finally released on Siona Records at the top of ’24. The translation of that Ukrainian word? Rainbow. "Veselka is the last track which was finished in my hometown Kyiv before I had to leave my country due to the war," explains Miss Monique, real name Olesia Arusha. "This track has pure energy, good vibes and is imprinted in my memory like a bright moment of peaceful times. I feel from our listeners they're excited to finally have the copy in their playlists.” It seems highly likely. As Progressive Astronaut noted in their rave review: “Veselka… has resulted [in] hands-in-the-air moments throughout her huge Christmas and New Year shows from Berlin to San Diego”. But beyond the facts, stats and hits, she’s something more. Born in the small town of Kirovograd and raised in Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital where she cut her teeth as a teenage DJ, Lisbon-based Miss Monique is a reluctant artist-in-exile. She's using her music and her performances to spread messages of peace, unity, solidarity and joyful defiance. Two years after she was forced to leave her war-torn country, she’s proud that, wherever she travels in the world, her shows are as much about flags in the air as hands in the air. “This kind of support, it's incredible,” she says appreciatively of the fans, of multiple nationalities, who wave the Ukrainian flag at her gigs. “But at the beginning, it was very hard. You don't know how to control your feelings. I remember when the first time I saw the flag, it was in Israel. I ran away for a few seconds because it was very painful. “Now I'm more controlled in my emotions. But I'm very appreciative of everyone doing this, because that means that people still remember, even after two years. They're still trying to help us. The main thing is that they don't forget, and they show that every time they come.” Miss Monique’s emergence as a global talent came during the pandemic. She was already a big draw at home in Ukraine and in neighbouring countries, her profile hard-earned after a decade playing out and, way ahead of her peers, honing her YouTube artistry. But during the lockdowns her livestreamed sets from her home studio went viral. They were characterised by high production values, with Miss Monique’s natural, unforced decks-appeal radiating good vibes at a time when the world needed them most. Then, as restrictions eased, her profile rocketed as online fans around the world were finally able to see her live – by her estimation, in 2022 she and her close-knit team took some 200 flights to over 100 events. There, again, it’s important for her to be an ambassador not just for her country but for a better way of pursuing both artistry and fan satisfaction. For that reason, “I take care of my body as much as I can,” Miss Monique says. “Because I want to be fresh, young and healthy as long as possible.” And, of course, that clean-living and progressive mental attitude helps with a productivity that is as boundless as it is impressive. In 2024 she’ll be using her new global partnership with talent agency WME to expand the activities of Siona Records in promoting the new artists she and her team have discovered and are supporting. She’ll be touring wherever the music takes her. In the earliest weeks of the year alone those bookings include stops in Italy, Montreal, Andorra, Bali and Amsterdam with, down the line, slots on the Main Stage at Tomorrowland and the Carl Cox stage at Ultra Miami. There’s talk, too, of a fashion collaboration on her own capsule collection, with that signature look having drawn attention from various brands. And, after Veselka, she’ll be releasing multiple new tracks. “I’m always testing my new music in the clubs, because it's very important to me to first of all see how it's working, then I do some more edits. Only then do I release the music.” Somehow, amidst her performing schedule, she vows to “work harder on the production side of my own music. More collaborations with singers, some bigger artists…” Miss Monique, then, is excited for the year and opportunities ahead. It’s a role that’s fired by feelings that, compared to most of her peers are, inarguably, more meaningful, more important and more powerful. “If I have a party in two hours, but I’m reading in the news that Kyiv was just bombed again, I can sit and cry. But at the same time, I know that I have to turn off my feelings, and still bring the people happiness. Because I always try to make people happy.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Anthony Middleton, a classically trained musician, has been immersed in music from a very young age. He penned his first song at just 8, marking the start of an enduring love affair with music. As a youth, he frequented acid house, early rave, and techno events in the UK, where he developed a fascination with the genre that turned into a lifelong commitment in 1992 when he purchased his first synthesiser. Middleton's early career found him behind the decks in iconic clubs in Marbella, and he solidified his production skills in the mid-90s at one of the UK's pioneering music technology schools. His passion led him to the heart of London's vibrant dance music scene. However, a genetic illness forced him to retreat from this bustling world. During several years of recovery, he turned to meditation and the practice of Tibetan Bön, a deep introspective period that saw him further refine his music production skills under the mentorship of renowned producer and musician Merv de Peyer. While this health setback could have signaled the end of Middleton's house music career, a fortuitous encounter with Luca Saporito in 2002 sparked a new chapter. Together, they created Audiofly, a duo that has since left an indelible mark on the electronic music landscape with their innovative and emotion-evoking soundscapes.

Discovering his passion for music from an early age, he was subsequently admitted to the Vocal Department of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. David's immigration to Los Angeles expanded his horizons in music. Focusing on production of genre defying electronic music, David’s sound can best be described as deeply melodic journey into the mind that can leave you whiplashed much like a rollercoaster. As the vibrant strings of acoustic guitar resonate over thick bass lines, you can feel a warm glow in your heart, interrupted only by an occasional conga riff. His dj sets leave one standing drenched in sweat, completely exhausted from the satisfaction of losing yourself in the dark beats and the lush melodies. Eli Fola is a Nigerian-American multi-disciplinary sound artist, saxophonist, DJ, and producer. He is the creator and pioneer of the live-hybrid set “Yoruba Tech Soul”, an innovative fusion of AfroHouse, techno, jazz, and classical music. He is often regarded as a saxophone genius and branded with the visual art world due to his powerful imagery that showcases Afrohouse and spirituality in a modern context. Eli Fola’s first introduction to house music and techno was his discovery of Osunlade and Jeff Mills. Fela Kuti was also a huge inspiration growing up, as Eli mixed Afrobeats and highlife music with traditional Nigerian genres. This colorful blend of artistry and style grew the backbone of his signature sound. Eli’s innovative style and sonic identity caught the attention of Grammy-winning powerhouses Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys, who booked Eli for a private event at their home, and featured him at their No Commission event in Miami. Eli has shared the stage with icons like ASAP Rocky, Lil Wayne, and 2 Chainz, and has performed alongside other major artists including Black Coffee, Pablo Fierro, and Audiofly. As a film score composer, he has been commissioned to work on projects for Vogue Italia and Free The Works, including collaborations with brands like Soho House, Bacardi, ArtNews, and ArtBasel. In 2016, Eli Fola founded Tech Afrique, an independent label, events, and cultural platform that promotes Afrofuturist ideas. Growing with large success, Tech Afrique keeps a progressive pulse on the culture, serving as a buzzing platform to release music and showcase upcoming DJs and producers around the world. With a special focus on the historically underrepresented BIPOC community, the label has successfully released three EPs and curated a sizzling event series across New York City and Tulum, Mexico that highlights the magic of his multicultural artistry.

NIKITA Brooklyn, NY listed bookings | LIVING | The Endup | Cityfox Brooklyn | BEAUTIFUL | non-fat ARTIST BIO written by Jack O'Shaughnessy On the same day Dolly Parton, Janis Joplin, Edgar Allan Poe, his mother and grandmother were born, so too did San Francisco DJ, NIKITA, begin his enchanted existence. As a young boy in Denver, Colorado, NIKITA's childhood was similar to that of other extraordinary creative youth; days filled with church and show choir, playing the piano, and dancing to his mother's R&B albums. From an early age, NIKITA always knew he wanted to be an entertainer. Then, in 1993, a chance encounter with house music at an underground warehouse party would prove to be a pivotal moment in his life, ultimately guiding NIKITA towards the charmed life he lives today. It wasn't until the turn of the millennium though that NIKITA would leave his home in Colorado to search the clubs and warehouses of San Francisco for his destiny. At the very least, he would get a degree in Music Business from San Francisco State University. But with a resounding perseverance and an inimitable personality, NIKITA quickly earned his place among the upper echelon of DJs in San Francisco's world-renowned club scene. In 2005, NIKITA was chosen to host his own radio show, The Massive Mix, on Northern California's only electronic dance music radio station, Energy 92.7 FM. Indeed, it was NIKITA's penchant for blending raw grooves with sophisticated sounds that garnered him a residency at San Francisco's legendary nightclub, The EndUp. Today NIKITA credits SF as the city that made him the adult and artist that he is today... NIKITA is a DJ's DJ, a rare soul who truly understands his role in the DJ booth. Performing anywhere from two to eighteen hour sets, NIKITA weaves music into fantastic journeys of rhythm and sound. NIKITA's ability to contrast the harder elements of techno with the soulful sensuality of deep house has garnered him accolades from some of the world's best DJs and allowed him the rare opportunity to tag team alongside the likes of Cassy, Danny Howells, Lee Burridge, and Derek Plaslaiko. Indeed, NIKITA has played with a Who's Who of international talent, including Craig Richards, M.A.N.D.Y., Joel Mull, Adam Beyer, Steve Bug, Damian Lazurus, Honey Dijon, and many, many more. With additional inspiration coming from friends such as David Harness and Danny Tenaglia, it comes as no wonder why NIKITA's story is one of a dream come true. Today, NIKITA and music partner, RAY ZUNIGA (Co-founder and label owner of Touch of Class Records), produce an international music experience called LIVING.us. Their events started as an underground in Brooklyn, and they’ve taken the brand to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, and Europe for Amsterdam Dance Event for the past two years. In 2018, WeArePulse declared LIVING as one of the Top10 events at ADE. For a recent promo mix please visit www.soundcloud.com/DJNIKITA OR www.listedbookings.com

Whether putting out melodic house under his own name, reverberating techno under his alias APIR or writing radio friendly alternative pop music under the moniker Invisible Minds, his work is always stamped with fearlessness. ‘I think diversity in music is the most important thing. The more colours you have in your palette, the more creative and interesting the results can be’ Tim's father – a keyboardist, kept the family home flooded with the sounds of Pink Floyd and Joni Mitchell. Learning guitar from the age of 8, Tim played in bands as a teenager, but it was upon hearing Daft Punk’s Discovery album that he was firmly bitten by the electronic music bug. ‘First time I heard Discovery, I was blown away by what I heard, but at the same time confused. I could recognise a lot of the samples they used, as I knew the originals so well from growing up. But I couldn’t understand how they made this type of music. It was all new to me, coming from a strictly live band background. So I made it my mission to find out how and try for myself!’ Making his first forays into the world of techno with releases on Four:Twenty in 2006, it was his breakout singles ‘Revox’ and ‘Mr Dry’ in 2008 that made the scene sit up and take notice. Tim started to refine his production prowess with releases on Dirtybird and Get Physical whilst remixing Friendly Fires, Cassius and Seth Troxler to name a few, before subsequently being crowned Best Breakthrough Producer at the 2010 DJ Mag Awards. The same year he also recorded his debut ‘Essential Mix’ for BBC Radio 1, which showcased his considerable abilities as a DJ, and was the beginning of a burgeoning DJ career that has seen him traverse the globe on a weekly basis. In the proceeding years, Institutions such as Fabric London, Panorama Bar Berlin, Womb Tokyo, Nordstern Basel, Space Ibiza, Warehouse Project Manchester and festivals such as Burning Man Nevada, MDRNTY & Dockyard Amsterdam have become regular fixtures in his touring calendar. Spurred on by a number of highly successful EP’s for Sven Vath’s Cocoon Recordings, which culminated in his debut album ‘Her Future Ghost’ in 2018. A landmark body of work and concept that sidestepped convention. The idea for ‘Her Future Ghost’ was to write it as a soundtrack to a movie, which only existed in his mind, drawing on his appreciation of film scores. ‘As an avid film score fan, I wanted to create a body of work that took certain typical soundtrack traits such as different motifs that repeat throughout, like character themes which evolve and mutate as well as a narrative that develops through the music’. 2018 is to herald further treasure from his studio. With Tim going back to his songwriting roots with new artist project ‘Invisible Minds’. Shining a light on a more melodic side to his musical personality. Singles such as Yo Mae Leh & The Cut Girl were released anonymously and received huge support from BBC6 Music and Spotify, resulting in an album deal with legendary UK label Moshi Moshi to be released in October of that year. The breakout track from the album “Yo Mae Leh” continued to catch ears and was used in a recent worldwide advertising campaign for Wagamama’s. Tim has now found a home releasing on the highly respected labels associated with Lee Burridge. His hotly anticipated “Vacation To Life’ EP released on All Day I Dream in March of 2020, cementing him as part of the labels family. Further to this he has also released on another of Lee’s imprints TRYBESof and has many exciting projects in the works for the future. This step in Tim’s musical direction is the realisation of a journey that has been in the works for the last four years. His connection to Lee stretches way back, the pair have played the Robot Heart bus together at Burning Man and Tim has become a fixture at All Day I Dream events globally. He now finds himself in a place where he is totally musically happy. Looking forward to the rest of the year, there seems to be no change in Tim’s relentless pursuit of quality output. He will be releasing landmark records as Tim Green that have been in the works for some time... plus a few more surprises in store no doubt.
