When one could assume, &ME entered the House and Techno world somewhat out of the blue, it is due to his sublime modesty that’s already captured in his alias. His way to become one of today’s most praised and sought after DJ/producers is based on a solid foundation. To make common cause with Fetisch, delivering beats for their joint venture Terranova and releasing EPs and an album on Kompakt plus his collaborations with Nic Fanciulli and releases on Saved Records and his project NR& with fellow producer Rampa and singer Nomi (Hercules & Love Affair, Jessica 6) are just a few milestones of that path. Not to forget his solo productions, that made himself a name in a quite unparalleled way. “F.I.R.” – his first release on keinemusik, a collective of Berlin based DJs and producers, including Rampa, Adam Port, David Mayer, Reznik & artist Monja Gentschow, he helped founding in 2009, was a massive clubhit, but in the end not much more than a foretaste of things to come. With productions on various labels, his reputation as a gifted producer and DJ extraordinaire spread into international realms, and that’s where he stands right now, as his blend of Techno and soulful Housemusic took incredible shape: Many new projects in focus and clearly visible as one of the most unique and original figures in the game.Their RA profile lists Green, Souvenir Music, Saved Records, Liebe*Detail Spezial and 2 more.often with Map.ache, Konstantin, kollektiv b_aware, none of them here that night

From 2009 on, Rampa made a name of himself through Keinemusik, his own little d.i.y.-cosmos, being not only label, but also crew of likeminded DJs, producers and friends. The teamwork within this realm has seen a serious number of productions and collaborations, particularly with fellow producer &ME, not to forget the rest of the bunch, Adam Port, Reznik and Monja. Besides, he’s got an array of other collaborations and releases under his belt, put out on imprints like Cocoon, Innervisions, Strictly Rhythm, Kompakt, 2020 Vision, Freerange, Bpitch Control, Diynamic or Crosstown Rebels. The events of the last few years have seen Rampa focussing more and more on the production side of things, be it studio work or the inauguration of his TEILE project – his own company to produce and distribute analogue effects, custom built for DJ-purposes. Certainly also an outlet for a slight nerdism, that includes not only studio gear, but instruments in general. Chances are you’ll find him in the studio, swinging the drumstick or banging on some bongos. When it comes to DJing itself, he is going for a less is more approach these days, choosing bookings and playing more consciously.Their RA profile lists Defected Records, Cocoon Recordings, Get Physical Music, International DeeJay Gigolo Records and 6 more.often with Map.ache, Konstantin, Palms Trax, none of them here that night

Bedouin is an American-based music production and DJ partnership consisting of Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe. Together they share a broad sonic vision that pulls from their diverse influences owing to their Middle Eastern heritage, Western upbringing, and worldly travels. As musicians, singers, songwriters, and multi-instrumentalists, they've pioneered a distinctive and timeless sound that has connected with crowds from all corners of the world. Their sophisticated productions are featured on some of the world’s most notable labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, All Day I Dream, and recently their own imprint - Human By Default. Select major label releases include remixes for Black Coffee and Virgil Abloh on Ultra and Sony/Universal. They have called Burning Man home since 2012, making it their cultural, social, and musical experimentation playground for nearly a decade. Burning Man became a creative refuge and gave them the freedom to take a new musical approach. Being in a place that exposed them to new experiences, sounds, and feelings, they began carving a new sound that connects emotions and celebrates cultures around the world. It travels through time, telling stories rich with history but still with space for the future. Their time spent at Burning Man has been integral for the musical movement that is Bedouin. As some even say, "Bedouin...they are a genre on their own." The duo was featured twice on BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, once in 2016 and again in 2020, with four hours of all-original productions and remixes. In 2017, they earned the Essential New Tune title for their revered remake-cover of Pink Floyd’s “Set Control For The Heart Of The Sun” which was personally blessed by Pink Floyd's drummer Nick Mason. 2017 also marked the inception of the duo's weekly Ibiza residency and event concept, Saga, which quickly cemented itself as one of the island's most sought-after weekly parties, earning the 2019 award for "Best Night In Ibiza" by the DJ awards. They wrapped up 2017 by being named “Breakthrough artists of the year” by Mixmag. 2018 was another landmark year for the duo as they made their debut at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the US along with a series of European tours which included performances at major festivals like Tomorrowland and International Music Summit. Their European tour also included playing at some of Ibiza’s most iconic venues and events such as Circoloco at DC-10, Amnesia, Ushuaïa, and Hï Ibiza. Upon completion of their tour, they began a residency at Wynn Las Vegas, becoming one of the first underground acts to gain such status, as well as at Scorpios in Mykonos. Followed by a slew of original releases, 2020 marked the launch of their record label Human By Default with their Whistleman EP, which was featured on Forbes. Since its inception in 2017, Bedouin’s Ibiza residency, Saga, quickly cemented itself as one of the island’s most revered parties, celebrated by locals and visitors alike.[1] In 2017, Guy Laliberté handpicked Bedouin to helm Sunday nights at his HEART nightclub in Ibiza over the summer. Quickly establishing themselves as one of the island’s most compelling acts, the first season of their avant-garde SAGA residency was hailed as “one of the most successful season residency debuts of all time” by Pete Tong. Additional SAGA installments soon followed with the North American debut of the popular event series in their hometown of Brooklyn in December 2017 as well as in Miami during Miami Music Week in February 2018. Invited back to host a second consecutive season at the landmark Ibiza nightclub, Bedouin again presented an impeccably curated and diverse selection of some of the world’s most sought-after artists alongside their signature production and performers.Their RA profile lists Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical Music, Kindisch Records, Supernature Records and 6 more.often with Lumia, Francesco Del Garda, Marco Carola, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Carl Craig is described as a creative visionary, an electronic music icon, an esteemed Grammy-nominated composer, a world-class DJ and an ambassador for his native Detroit. Yet the common thread that runs through Craig’s broad musical canon and creative projects is a resounding fascination with futurism. The prolific producer has cultivated a unique path as an artist, entrepreneur and civic leader, guided by his tendency toward forward thinking. “My livelihood is making music that I can perform, whether I’m doing orchestral production or modular strangeness or generating club music. I don’t restrict myself,” said Craig. “I defined myself by being who I am. The ultimate self respect is when you say you’re going to do something and you go and do it to the best of your ability.” Craig released his first track in 1989 on a Virgin UK compilation album, with two singles following on labels run by his first collaborator Derrick May. After a series of ambitious releases for his co-owned Retroactive imprint, in 1991 Craig launched his second record label Planet E with the groundbreaking EP “4 Jazz Funk Classics”, under his alias 69. Planet-E turned 20 in 2011 and Craig celebrated the label’s history by taking Planet-E and its artists and collaborators on a world tour for the first time ever. He also previewed the 69 Live show for the first time, at select festivals around the world, fusing masks, darkness and the music of 69, Craig created 69’s own entity. As well as this, Planet-E invited friends of the label – like Luciano, Kirk Del Giorgio, Loco Dice and more - to pick their favourite Planet-E track to remix and re-release. Reflecting a year that was packed with events and releases, Craig readily admits that when he started the label he was hoping “it would last forever.” He cites artistic freedom as the highlight of running the label and adds, “It was never a struggle for the label to be an outlet for my or other people's music. It was always a struggle to stay in business, actually a war to stay in business.” Looking back now to Craig's early releases from 1989-1992, one can see how much the wild variety found in his early music set the groundwork for his diverse career. He's fortunate to serve as an inspiration and influence to countless artists in the underground electronic music scene as well as crossover acts like Underworld, Hot Chip and LCD Soundsystem. His 1992 Innerzone Orchestra cut “Bug in the Bassbin” was credited as the spark that inspired the evolution of drum‘n’bass. In typical Craig fashion, “Bug...” continued to develop, morphing into a live jazz composition in 1996. In turn, those experiments laid the ground for Craig to incorporate Jazz elements onto his 1999 I.O. album “Programmed.” Then in the 00's Craig explored jazz further still as producer on the albums “The Detroit Experiment” and “Rebirth” (2009) for legendary Detroit Jazz collective Tribe. This is but one example of Craig's continually evolving exploration of sound. Craig’s prolific nature is reflected in the many recording projects he has used throughout his career including 69, BFC, C2, Innerzone Orchestra, No Boundaries, Psyche, Paperclip People and Tres Demented. This rotating cast of aliases has enabled him to continually explore new directions through a long succession of full length albums, mix CDs and singles including “Throw” (1994), “Landcruising” (1995), “The Secret Tapes of Dr Eich” (1996), “More Songs About Food and Revolutionary Art” (1997), “Programmed” (1999), “The Detroit Experiment” (2002), “The Workout” (2002), “Just Another Day” (2004), “Fabric 25” (2005), “The Album Formerly Known As” (2005), “Paris Live” (2007), “Sessions” (2008), “Recomposed” (with Moritz Von Oswald) (2008), “The Legendary Adventures of a Filter King” (2009) and “Modular Pursuits” (2010). Craig’s interest in collaboration continually grows. As "Versus", one of his boldest endeavors to date, Craig combines techno and classical music, opening himself up to working in a new format by collaborating with orchestrator / pianist Francesco Tristano, French orchestra Les Siècles, conductor Francois Xavier Roth and Moritz Von Oswald. Inspired by well-received performances in large concerts halls in Paris, Milan and Germany, Craig started the process of developing the project into an album. He also performs as Trio alongside Von Oswald and Tristano. His occasional appearances with the electronic collective jam band Narod Niki, alongside Villalobos, Luciano, Richie Hawtin, Zip and others, have led to him appearing in part live / part DJ gigs with Luciano. Additionally he’s taken to occasionally bringing keyboardists like Mike Banks (UR), Amp Fiddler and Tristano into the DJ booth with him for special one-off gigs. These mixed performances add some variety in a non-stop DJ schedule that finds him spinning at top clubs worldwide. Craig acknowledges, “Touring has always been the most important aspect of the music industry for artists. There will always be that desire for human interaction.”. Lets also mention that he has recently performed live soundtracks to films, first in Amsterdam then in New York, where he improvised live to an Andy Warhol film at Unsound Festival. The fact is, unpredictability is the only predictable thing about Craig and his music. Outside of his Planet E recordings, Craig also continues to be one of the most sought-after remixers in the world. Craig has produced a seemingly never-ending list of remixes that now extends over 100 cuts, including mixes for the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, Friendly Fires, Caribou, Theo Parrish, Gavin Russom & Delia Gonzalez, Tori Amos, Can, Goldfrapp, Unkle, Yello and others. He was nominated for a Grammy in 2008 for his mix of the Junior Boys “Like a Child.” “It’s been proven that the remix is a valid art form,” Craig said. “When I take on a project, the ultimate goal is that it becomes my record. In many cases I’m actually recomposing the track and the time that I spend reflects how personal it becomes.” Fortunately there is no shortage of artists looking for that Carl Craig touch, so rest assured you'll hear Craig reconfiguring many of your favorite artists for years to come. In the same way that he likes to make tracks he's remixing his own, Craig’s commitment to his home in Detroit is also something very personal. After launching a festival to rival that of any in Europe with the Detroit Electronic Music Festival in 2000, Craig has shifted his focus to even more ambitious goals with the creation of his non-profit 501-C3 Carl Craig Foundation. “The concept is to find ways to re- educate kids about what’s interesting musically that you can’t get on the radio” says Craig. Partnering with other non-profits to set up music scholarships, in 2010 the Carl Craig Foundation presented a five-day workshop during the Movement Festival at the Detroit School of the Arts, which exposed the students to professionals in sound engineering, music festival production, record/music production and musical performance. Craig sees the primary goal of the foundation as a way “to develop a new music scene that follows the legacy of Detroit music being diverse and interesting, to spot out the most talented young musicians coming out of high school and lend small financial grants to encourage music education at a higher level.” This commitment to Detroit music also extends to how his Planet E family of labels is run. Not only has it given a home to a wide range of Detroit-based artists including Francesco Mora Catlett, Naomi Daniel, Flexitone, Jason Hogans, Kenny Larkin, Monty Luke, Ezana Harris, Moodyman, Mike Agent X, Oliverwho Factory, Recloose, Reference, Kevin Saunderson, Big Tone, Tribe, Urban Tribe, and Chaz Vincent, it has also been serving as a distributor for Detroit imprints including Derrick May's Transmat and Stacey Pullen's Black Flag. “The reality of the business is that you have to change. That’s a very difficult process, especially as an independent. I made a conscious decision a few years ago to invest in what I do. It’s turning it around and putting it into the studio and the label for my music to develop. We’re fighters around here. We fight to find new ways of selling. We do manufacture vinyl and there are people who want it. We’re fighting to keep it alive. Fighting for music that we have a vision for,” Craig say about Detroit. “My commitment to the city is like a commitment to your family. I’ve been here all my life and I’ve seen great things happen elsewhere, why not be involved in making my home great?” When Craig explains his philosophy, his wry sense of humor seeps into his explanations of far-reaching concepts that merge worlds together. “I have a very special career. When I feel that I’m tired of going on the road I can go in the studio. When I’m tired of concentrating on the studio I can go on the road. I can work with concert pianists, jazz musicians or rock guys. Very few people have that range of interests. Very few people juggle a career that they choose specifically.” No one else can pull it all together quite like Carl Craig.Their RA profile lists fabric Records, Clone Records, Ibadan Records, Planet E and 6 more.Last at 99 Scott Ave in Aug · often with Chaim, Lauren Ritter, Art Department, none of them here that night
“Moodymann worked at several Detroit record stores in the mid-nineties including a store owned by producer Blake Baxter.”

Moodymann worked at several Detroit record stores in the mid-nineties including a store owned by producer Blake Baxter. During the mid-nineties Kenny was also the resident DJ at the Detroit based Outcast Motorcycle Club. At that time he was known as "House". After his first several releases on Planet E Records Kenny became quite popular in France and from there his popularity grew. Moodymann sound is a hybrid form of techno/house dance music arrived at via innovative use of reworked riffs, samples and grooves. While he may frustrate people with his refusal to be interviewed and insistence on reminding people of the genre's origins, the soulfulness of his output is unquestioned. Utilizing classic soul and jazz samples, low-slung bass lines and an approach to drum programming that is diametrically opposed to the tendency to push the tempo faster and faster, he has achieved classic status thanks to gems like "Sunday Morning", "Shades of Jae", and his remix of Innerzone Orchestra's "People Make the World Go Round". Following years of 12" only releases, he compiled his best work on "Silentintroduction", one of the most celebrated albums of the late 90s.Their RA profile lists Peacefrog, Planet E, KDJ and Mahogani Music.Last at 99 Scott Ave in Aug · often with Tony Touch, Eli Escobar, DJ Disciple, none of them here that night
“While the world’s online, Chloé Caillet’s in the club.”
their own biography
the whole biography
While the world’s online, Chloé Caillet’s in the club. Her music and kaleidoscopic DJ sets recall utopic rave histories of the past: dance factories, the Balearic bliss of the ‘90s; a time when smartphones didn’t mediate the clubbing experience. Caillet’s music encourages your full presence, your phone deep in your pocket. Within just a few years Caillet, a DJ, producer, multi‑instrumentalist, has become one of dance’s most vitalizing forces. In 2024 alone she logged tens of thousands of miles playing sets and curating global communities with SMIILE, her queer‑centered club night. From playing B2Bs with Jamie xx to closing the terrace at Ibiza’s Circoloco with Kylie Minogue in attendance, Chloé Caillet has become your favorite pop star’s DJ, your favorite DJ’s DJ, soon to be your favorite, too. A musician first, Caillet brings her near‑perfect pitch to the decks. She mixes in key, thinks in textures and tonalities—fifths, thirds—and instinctively knows the sounds that will mesh together best. Always at least three steps ahead of the track, she creates fine musical details within her sets, setting up perfect harmonies on the fly. Her layering is subtle, but if you lean closer you her years of classical study; her background in improvisational jazz. Initially drawn to rock music, she played keys and bass in a small psychedelic outfit named The Clockwork as a teenager in Paris. Throughout her adolescence she performed in an array of blues, garage and alternative rock bands across Paris and London before ending up in the dance music space during Ed Banger’s most prolific era. By the time she moved to New York City in her early twenties, LCD Soundsystem and DFA Records had overtaken the scene with their dance‑rock revival, inspiring Caillet to carry over her prog credentials into her first DJ sets. Initially drawn to production through her background in A&R, she quickly became a sensation in the NYC dance music scene, playing and creating rock‑embellished electo reminiscent of Greg Wilson’s early mixtapes, and later inspiring Beck to personally commission her for a remix of his track “Chemical” in 2021. As her star began to rise further, Caillet gradually moved away from her proggy roots and towards groove‑heavy house. “But I’ve definitely been feeling a pull back to my roots lately,” says Caillet.Their RA profile lists CircoLoco Records and SMIILE Records.Last at The Glasshouse in Sep · often with Dee Diggs, Meilgaarden, Regularfantasy, none of them here that night

exponents of the contemporary house and techno scene, but also one of its key tastemakers and pathfinders. As a DJ, his mastery is unsurpassed. A true storyteller, Damian often holds court at those special times of the day when only his kind of DJ sets are required. Moments that demand a soundtrack that not only fits the mood, but elevates the atmosphere and takes the audi-ence to a whole other level of experience. Besides playing at the world’s best clubbing institutions (resident at DC10 in Ibiza for almost 10 years), Damian also specialises in performing beyond the confines of the walls of a club. He is an expert in performing his magic in extraordinary outdoor locations; jungles, beaches, the Robot Heart bus in the Nevada desert, Mayan ruins in Mexico and a whole host of other spellbinding sites around the world. Just one look at the superlative Day Zero event will tell you what Damian’s ethos is when it comes to outdoor exploits. Add to that Get Lost and Rebel Rave, two more events that epitomise his approach to hosting alfresco shows. Damian’s visionary abilities are no more apparent than in the curation of music and his discovery of artists via the seminal label, Crosstown Rebels. During its 12-year lifespan, the label has been responsible for launching the careers of some of our scene’s best-known names; Jamie Jones, Art Department, Maceo Plex, Deniz Kurtel… His A&R skills are second-to-none, in direct correlation with the curation of his DJ sets. It’s his dedica-tion to seeking out unique talents that has helped to make his label one of the most influential outlets of recent times. Crosstown’s sorcerer-in-chief has also applied these same bewildering powers to the de-velopment of his latest collaborative artist project, Damian Lazarus and The Ancient Moons. Lazarus has been joined at the production controls by James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco, Arctic Monkeys, Florence), with album recording sessions recently completed in Mexico. The project brings together a wide assortment of vocalists, collaborators and players from around the world. Taking inspiration from Lazarus's Lazpod series, Get Lost events and Day Zero festival, this is music for deserts, jungles and sunrises. In tandem with the album project, Damian has also conceived a live show, with assorted cast of musicians who will perform live alongside the chief wizard himself. Damian Lazarus And The Ancient Moons will be hitting the road soon, bringing a whole new dimension to festival stages and intriguing outdoor locations. Throughout a career spanning many years Damian Lazarus has worked tirelessly to main-tain a constant flow of creativity and innovation within the house and techno sphere. Never losing focus, he continues on his mystical pathway to greatness, unleashing his positive spirit on the masses at every opportunity. “As a DJ, he cuts a striking figure behind decks, rising from Berlin beginnings among the original pioneers of electronic music.”
their own biography
the whole biography
As a DJ, he cuts a striking figure behind decks, rising from Berlin beginnings among the original pioneers of electronic music. Over a career, he has evolved his sound into something visionary, running renowned record label Innervisions with Frank Wiedemann and Kristian Rädle of Ȃme. His ear for the perfect mix eventually brought down Resident Advisor’s Top DJs Poll, after taking out first place for its last four years running. However, Dixon’s ambition has driven a calling into wider fields of fashion and technology, expanding what it means to be a contemporary innovator. Early on, a young Dixon was already remixing for the likes of Femi Kuti with his version of “Victim of Life” in 2000. His reputation as a remixer sprung out of edits hidden within his sets, adjusting tracks to give his own mixing an edge. Dixon’s edits were for himself, but became infamously in demand for friends and high profile artists, with takes on The XX’s “Tides” and Disclosure’s “Boiling” in 2013. Major recognition came in 2017 when Depeche Mode asked him to remix their iconic anthem “Cover Me”, and the following year reworking LCD Soundsystem’s “i used to”. Recently, Dixon’s 2019 interpretation of Kelsey Lu’s “Why Knock For You” revealed his genre-bending take on today’s dance music. Translating this view into running Innervisions earned success from creating constellations within the label’s universe. To distribute their carefully crafted sound, Muting The Noise came to be in 2010. Dixon remains key in their music selection, always saving unreleased tracks to bump his own sets above the rest. Throwing parties from Innervisions’ essence led to Lost In A Moment forming as an events agency. Leaving no trace behind, offbeat locations are prioritised as the backdrop for the label’s otherworldly showcases. To gather other like-minded artists, a booking agency Temporary Secretary was born in 2017, where Dixon still sits among an impressive roster of talent. However, his holistic interest in nightlife culture meant pushing the clubbing envelope further. In 2017, he co-founded fashion label Together We Dance Alone, with its creative director Ana Ofak. The brand’s vision translates clubwear into the digital age and gazes at a future melded with machines. All designs are co-created with collaborators and friends in unique capsule drops, linked by the core concept of layering. Dixon’s fashion conscience has since synced up with some of the best in the industry. He was asked to provide soundtracks for four seasons of Riccardo Tisci’s Givenchy runway shows and in 2018 was handpicked as a muse for Virgil Abloh’s first season of Louis Vuitton’s Men’s. In 2018 Dixon even caught the eye of video game giant Rockstar. A 3D-mapped Dixon mixed his way into the Grand Theft Auto V 2018 expansion pack GTA Online: After Hours. Sparking his interest in the digital, he became the first of four DJs to enter virtual reality for players to choose as a soundtrack to their online nightclub. With these projects building up a layered approach to clubbing, Dixon set to work on his technology platform Transmoderna i n 2019. Its concept co-exists as a physical and digital space for music, art, fashion, technology and club culture to overlap. Now, as an established sphere for creatives of mixed disciplines, Transmoderna has moved its Ibiza event space from Pacha Ibiza to DC-10. Amidst COVID-19, Transmoderna’s online persona expanded with an immersive mixed reality stream for Boiler Room, with Dixon now set to take the venture even further into undefined club territory online. Using music to melt through other art forms, Dixon’s strength is found in his transcendent dancefloor moments. Echoed in a flawless aesthetic, his performances feel both safe and unpredictable, with this singular sense of balance seeing his global appeal widen year after year.Their RA profile lists Get Physical Music, Sonar Kollektiv, Innervisions, Objektivity and 5 more.Last at Cornucopia Majesty in Sep · often with Jimi Jules, Âme, Trikk, none of them here that night

Founder and A&R of Life and Death, Manfredi Romano grew up tour-managing punk bands and organising left-field music events in Italy around the turn of the Millennium. Having completed his studies in computer science at the University of Pisa, Manfredi went on to form DAZE, Italy’s first booking agency solely devoted to electronic music. Drawing on two decades of experience behind the scenes, Romano shifted focus in 2010, establishing himself as a DJ in his own right. As a performer, Tennis valiantly showcases an astute ability to create intimacy in even the vastest of gatherings. As a respected producer, Romano consistently channels his past relationships with post-rock luminaries such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tortoise and Fugazi into intricately-synthesised electronic constellations. Known for his Artist Management capabilities is responsible for breaking artists like Tale of Us, Mind Against and Carlita. “Guy Gerber has always favored the road less traveled.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Guy Gerber has always favored the road less traveled. The Israeli DJ thrives on confounding expectations. What other underground DJ could collaborate with one of hip-hops biggest moguls, Puff Daddy, or start a left-field night at one of Ibiza’s most commercial clubs, Pacha? What other producer blends the worlds of melancholy and euphoria so effortlessly, or turns in a breakup album as an official mix for a revered club brand? It’s these kind of contradictions that define Gerber’s compelling duality. Before he was fiddling with drum machines and synths, Gerber was all about groups like Joy Division and My Bloody Valentine. These influences still echo clearly in his music today, whether it be his hypnotizing live performances or contemplative, moody productions. Over the course of four albums, Gerber has shown himself to be a singular artist. In 2007, he brought his debut album Late Bloomers to Sven Vath’s Cocoon, following that with 2009’s My Invisible Romance. In 2012 and 2013, he usurped the concept of a mix CD, delivering a Fabric album made up of 100% original new productions; then on Who’s Stalking Who creating an LP more akin to an extended composition than anything else. As a performer, Guy Gerber is consistently rated one of the best touring acts in dance music, earning a top 10 live performer nod three years in a row for Resident Advisor. When DJing he’s known for extended sets, epitomized by a 12-hour performance at Burning Man in 2014. Gerber’s sets are never forgettable, and he has an unerring ability to disrupt expectations, whether it be confounding Ibiza VIPs with his 2013 Wisdom of the Glove residency at Pacha --which even caught the New York Times’ attention -- or 12 months later going in a totally new direction with his clandestine free Ibiza beach party, Rumors. Even at more traditional club residencies like those he holds at Marquee, Sound, and Story, Gerber acts as the subversion, transforming the normative experience into something alive with mysticism and mystique. On the label front, Gerber has helped curate and A&R some of underground music’s most intriguing talents. His label Supplement Facts hosted everyone from Chaim, to dOP, Guti and Kate Simko. In typical Gerber fashion, just as it was reaching its apex he put it on hold to launch a new imprint Rumors, a befitting title for the mischievously minded Gerber. The new project is off to a promising start, serving as home to Guy’s colossal collaboration with Dixon, “No Distance,” as well as his crossover album with Puff Daddy, 11:11, which proved one of 2014’s most startling and impressive LPs. As with Supplement Facts, Rumors reiterates Gerber’s attention to the visual aesthetic. Both labels have seen him collaborating with artists all over the globe -- most recently with Miss Kittin on a What’s next for Guy Gerber? “What began as a pause became a moment of clarity.”
their own biography
the whole biography
What began as a pause became a moment of clarity. By stepping away from expectations, familiar routines and the frameworks that had formed around the project, Innellea entered a new creative phase guided by instinct rather than external noise. The focus shifted back to what originally sparked his connection to music: the process of creating, the dancefloor as a shared experience, and the community that forms around it. Musically, this new chapter marks a shift in approach. Rather than refining a single “Innellea sound”, the artist embraces a more club-oriented direction and the freedom to explore the full spectrum of electronic music without being boxed in by expectations or past successes. As the project evolves, the focus shifts toward the core spaces of electronic music: intimate clubs, raw environments and venues where the relationship between artist and crowd feels immediate and unfiltered. Less spectacle, more energy. Less narrative, more movement. At the center of this world sits Belonging, his label and creative platform, not simply an imprint, but a growing community built around music, art and the collective experience of the dancefloor. Since emerging in 2019, Innellea has carved out a distinct space within contemporary electronic music. Early releases quickly caught the attention of leading DJs and found homes on labels such as Afterlife, Innervisions and Diynamic, propelling him onto international stages while cultivating a loyal global following. Alongside his releases, Innellea developed conceptual live projects including Distorted Youth, Five Phases and The Belonging, exploring emotional narratives and the connection between artist and audience. For Innellea, the dancefloor remains a sacred space, a place where individuality dissolves into collective experience, where people come together through rhythm and sound.Their RA profile lists Innervisions, Upon. You, Afterlife and TAU.often with Dyzen, Ede, Massano, none of them here that night

Their gift for creating emotion through the synths and percussive instruments in their studio translates uniquely onto the dancefloor, where their slick, moving take on techno makes for a special kind of peak in the club. They draw from the psychedelic hooks of 1980s soundtracks and from modern dance music’s emphasis on sound design to create a distinctive and immensely powerful sound. In 2012 they recorded and released their first single ‘Cagliostro’ on breakthrough label Life and Death, following that up by essential collaborations with Tale Of Us and Somne for the same label and compilation appearances on Sven Vath’s Cocoon and Recondite’s label Plangent. Through a string of remixes, Mind Against leant their touch to the work of, amongst others, Art Department, Róisín Murphy and Green Velvet. More recently also for SHDW & Obscure Shape and Hakimonu, inspiring a remix EP of the latter’s “Insular Realms” through a masterstroke club edit. All the while, they have become consumate and globally in-demand DJs, dazzling at many of electronic music’s leading clubs and festivals. Their understanding of each other plays out in the dynamism of their joint DJ sets, where a refined selection and intricate mixing forms a journey like no other. Case in point: their revered Essential Mix from 2016. Mind Against’s discography has grown with standout releases for Tale Of Us’ Afterlife label and Scuba’s Hotflush, including further collaborations with Locked Groove and Aether. “Seth Troxler is one of electronic music’s most instantly recognisable artists.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Seth Troxler is one of electronic music’s most instantly recognisable artists. He has carved out his own unique path as a cultural commentator, art curator, restaurateur and entrepreneur. Descended from a family of cowboys and Baptist preachers, Seth is part African-American, with a singular approach to viewing the world through the prism of contemporary music culture. Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and raised in suburban Detroit, Seth learnt the art of DJing initially from his stepfather (then a college radio DJ) and later from working, at only 16, behind the counter in legendary Detroit record store ‘Melodies & Memories’. It wasn’t until Seth made the decision to explore new horizons in the mid-2000s, moving to Berlin fresh out of his teens (after debuting at Panorama Bar at just 18 years old), that his DJ career really took off. Since the move from Detroit to Berlin, then settling in London for a number of years, and now with his time divided between Ibiza and Berlin (Round 2), Seth has established himself as one of the world biggest DJs (voted the world’s number one DJ in scene bible Resident Advisor and gracing the front cover of Mixmag three times). He’s equally at home playing to the smoke-filled dance floors of some of the world’s most discerning nightclubs, such as CircoLoco, fabric (London), Nordstern (Basel), The Lux (Lisbon) or Blitz (Munich), as he is headlining the world’s largest festivals, like Glastonbury, Movement, Roskilde or Sonar. Right from the word go, Seth has been as passionate about food and contemporary art as he is about music, and these two interests have resonated at all points, and in parallel, to his music career. A multi faceted modern artist: he has held residencies at talismanic music institutions, run numerous record labels, and pursued his own solo recording career (including the recent ‘Play In The Dark’ collaboration with the Martinez Brothers on Crosstown Rebels, and ‘Lumartes’ that kick started CircoLoco Recordings in Summer 2021). Furthermore Seth has found the time to launch the successful Smokey Tails’ restaurant in London, to create and host his own party during the Rio Carnival, and then to stop everything and to take the time out to climb Kilimanjaro for charity. More recently Seth has focussed his creative energies on his ‘Lost Souls of Saturn’ project, alongside Phil Moffa and further opaque participants, that sits firmly at the intersection between futuristic electronica, contemporary art and technology. In 2019 Lost Souls Of Saturn presented their audio/visual installation Transmission at the Saatchi Gallery in London, after its premiere during Art Basel in Switzerland, and collaborated with the Met in New York and the Fondation Beyeler in Basel in 2021. Lost Souls Of Saturn are currently recording their second album and conducting further experiments in augmented reality and virtual reality, which will be revealed soon.
