Douglas Sherman has been a pivotal figure of David Mancuso’s seminal Loft party in New York City, notably as David’s longest serving back-up musical host since 1984. He brings an unmatched depth of experience and passion to the turntables. He was one of the founders of the underground collective, Joy; created Adventures in Flight, a monthly gathering of dancers and music heads at Nowadays; and transformed the Panther Room at Output with a tripped-out cathedral of balloons for a series of events celebrating inclusivity and music culture. He currently co-hosts 7th Heaven with Joey Llanos, a quarterly party at Good Room that combines their Paradise Garage and Loft pedigrees, blending a diversity of selections emanating from the city's ever-evolving dance music underground. He also reunited with his fellow Joy mates to start a new party, OneOneOne, playing together in their unique sequential style at Holo. As a musical host, Douglas enables the power of music to captivate the audience, crafting continuous waves of harmonious sounds that foster immersive and transformative experiences, emphasizing thematic development over beat matching. His selections span the entirety of dance music history across multiple genres, where every record stands on its own and the music plays us.often with Dj incognito mode, Miss Alicia, That Matt, none of them here that night
“Joey Llanos, was born and raised in New York City.”

Joey Llanos, was born and raised in New York City. His love of music appeared at an early age when he studied rudimental percussion. His skills led him to The Bayonne Bridgemen Drum & Bugle Corps winning many national titles on the Drum Corps International competition circuit. As a teenager he frequented the Latin nightclub scene in Manhattan and the Bronx. His introduction to the “underground” club scene came in 1978, when a friend took him to Manhattan’s legendary Paradise Garage. It was here that Joey came under the influence and tutelage of famed Garage DJ, Larry Levan. As an accomplished martial artist, Joey joined the staff as head security consultant for The Paradise Garage. The many hours spent at the club allowed Joey to hone his skills as a DJ. By 1983, Larry Levan was confident enough in Joey’s abilities to let him do what many DJs only dream about - play the Garage’s monster sound system for the first time. He became one of Larry’s trusted relief DJs at the Paradise Garage, a position Joey held until the close in 1987. Guest spots at some of New York’s hottest post-Garage (Mars, Lovelite, and Bassline Sound Factory) bistros were next in his musical odyssey. By late 1988, Joey teamed with fellow DJ, Richard Vasquez to open The Choice. It was here that his reputation as an innovator was firmly established. Joey’s blend of reggae, rap, world music and other forms web into a musical tapestry that audience’s love. New York City’s crackdown on clubs forced The Choice to close after two years. This time allowed Joey to widen his audience on the national and international scene. Body and Soul, Summer Stage Central Park NYC, San Francisco, L.A., Washington DC, Atlanta, Miami, Tokyo and Saporro Japan, London are just a few of his frequented appearances. Joey is currently doing 7th Heaven, a quarterly party at Good Room in Brooklyn, NY. He is an audio consultant for M*POWER Productions Inc., dead security consultant for Body & Soul NYC and performing to record breaking crowds with David Depino at the famed Paradise Garage Reunion Parties, which are now a much-anticipated annual event to date.often with Shorty, 7th Heaven ft Douglas Sherman, Miss Alicia, none of them here that night

Timo Lee emerged her background in Honolulu and Taipei. From early childhood, Timo has kept her ear to the speaker, fingers tapping to the rhythm. A child of the 90’s, she was weaned on rave culture’s pulsing electronic beats. As the 2000’s progressed, her tastes evolved as she embraced underground disco, house, electronica. Her love for music manifested in a remarkable way as she hosted a three-hour weekly radio show on KTUH Honolulu for eight years. During this time, Timo shared the stage with a constellation of talented DJs, including luminaries like DJ Harvey, Bonobo, James Murphy, Thomas Bullock, DJ Garth, Tiger and Woods, Daniele Baldelli, Tim Sweeney, and many others at thirtyninehotel. She also served as the club's booker for six years, actively shaping the local dance scene in Hawaii. In 2014, Timo took her talents to the bustling streets of Brooklyn, NY. Commuting between the energetic vibes of NYC and her beloved Honolulu, she curated the atmosphere at Bevy, a popular cocktail discotheque in Kaka'ako with a 100-person capacity. Timo's presence in the New York music scene has been significant, with regular performances at iconic venues such as Good Room, The Lot Radio, and various nightclubs across the city. Timo wears multiple hats as the curator of "Wax the Van," a weekly all-vinyl session at Good Bar. Since 2020, she has also led Chomp! Chomp! Records, showcasing diverse artists in the underground dance music scene. 2023 marks two decades of Timo's music journey. Her sets are a testament to her eclectic and diverse taste, seamlessly blending different genres to keep audiences tapping fingers and bobbing heads. Timo Lee believes that music should evoke emotions from within, and she approaches it with an ethos that knows no limits.Acid House on 1, Acid Jazz on 1, Tech House on 1 and Techno on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesTheir RA profile lists Chomp!
