“Patrick Russell is a true veteran of the US underground, perhaps one of the last unsung heroes of a now lost era in the Midwest.”

Patrick Russell is a true veteran of the US underground, perhaps one of the last unsung heroes of a now lost era in the Midwest. A genuine sonic storyteller, he magically transforms the diaspora of acid, pure jack energy, and hints of IDM into a deep, fluent sonic dialog that never fails to devastate both minds and dance floor. A Detroit-bred DJ, artist, and producer active since the early 90's, Patrick has now made New York City his home. Perhaps best known as a key figure in the legendary No Way Back parties, his ability to weave intensely unique, long-format narratives has earned him critical acclaim and repeat performances at Japan’s Labyrinth festival, Berghain, Unsound, and DEMF/Movement. Patrick has also been steadily building a strong catalog of high-profile productions to compliment his increasingly varied, hypnotic, and in-demand DJ sets; his recent 3-track remix EP on The Bunker New York also marks his induction as an official resident DJ at the long-running Brooklyn party. His consummate taste and disciplined execution have created a respect that cannot be purchased. Patrick Russell is not just a name to watch, he is someone to be experienced.Techno on 34, Experimental on 8, Ambient on 6 and Acid on 7. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on On Board Music (2) (1), Standards & Practices (2) (1) and useless seconds (1); their RA profile also lists BPitch, Circus Company, Delsin, Blank Artists and 6 more. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Good Room, Nowadays · often with Mike Servito, BMG, Carlos Souffront, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Texas-born and Brooklyn-based, Henry Chow has spent nearly three decades embedded in the underground, moving dance floors with raw, mood-driven techno and house. A lifelong crate digger, his sound leans heavy on tension, groove, and restraint—built for dark rooms and long nights. As a DJ, Chow’s reputation has carried him to international stages and key venues across the U.S., including regular appearances at The Great Beyond (US). In Houston, Chow co-founded Crossroads, then one of Texas’ longest-running dance parties. The series became a proving ground for uncompromising international and regional artists alongside deeply rooted local talent, helping shape a sustainable, late-night culture. After arriving in Brooklyn in 2017, Chow re-established Crossroads with a series of events at the now defunct TBA Brooklyn. Years later Chow teamed up with Dianna Loevner, Samuel FIsh, and Dyllon Young to help create the underground outfit Mizz Softee. In the studio, Chow first cut his teeth in the early 2000s, releasing an EP on Marco Carola's seminal techno imprint, Zenit. Followed by original and remixes on labels such as Genetic Recordings, Thoughtless Music, Harmonious Discord and Abiotic. Dug from the past and locked into the present, Henry Chow delivers music that’s physical and meant to be felt.Tech House on 7, Techno on 8, Deep House on 5 and Downtempo on 3. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Thoughtless Music (2), Harmonious Discord (1) and Plain Sound Recordings (1); their RA profile also lists Zenit. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileLast at Paragon in Aug · often with Dustin Zahn, Truncate, Shaleen, none of them here that night
