Maayan Nidam, also performing as THE WAVES is an artist in flux, continues to change, evolve and challenge boundaries both in her Berlin studio and on stage. She has built a reputation as a fine producer, live performer & DJ who favours a subtle approach towards mesmeric moments. Her DJ sets, predominantly based in stripped-back, deep sounds, utilise an intriguing vinyl collection, using obscure interludes for re-contextualisation. This approach makes for some magical moments on the dance-floor, where a night’s highlight may come from the most unlikely of tracks. As a musician obsessed about sound and the technology behind its creation, her workflow places a strong focus on the studio environment. Triggering chain reactions between guitar pedals, drum machines, modular synths and acoustic instruments, generating sounds in unpredictable, exciting ways. As THE WAVES, Maayan has developed a solo live set that allows her to further her studio experiments and take them on the road. With a flexibly evolving range of hardware, she re-creates the spontaneous frame of her productions, delving deep into the possibilities of live dubbing and improvisation, keeping the performance exciting for both the crowd and Maayan herself.Their RA profile lists Perlon, Wolf + Lamb, Powershovel Audio, Giegling and 3 more.often with Jason Lindner, Thomas Melchior, André Galluzzi, none of them here that night
“Steve Huerta is at the vanguard of the house music underground.”

the whole biography
Steve Huerta is at the vanguard of the house music underground. Ever since relocating from L.A. to Berlin a decade ago, Huerta's been refining a deep, groove-based sound, equal parts nostalgic and futuristic. His productions wiggle with old school tech house funkiness, but are polished with lush technicolor sound design. Landing on some of the underground's most esteemed labels, like Slow Life, SlapFunk, and Small Hours, his records have become buy-on-site necessities for DJs and listeners who like their house sunkissed and swung. Recently he’s released many of his biggest tracks to date on his own label, Leizure, where he's knocked out a series of all killer, no filler 12-inches since launching in 2020. Alongside this steady diet of club gems, he also isn't afraid to venture into the chill out room. Across two LPs, 2020's Junipero and 2023's TV Slang, he's experimented with dubby, breakbeat, downtempo, and ambient textures, showcasing a more introspective, but no less accomplished set of production skills. Regardless of whether he's turning out a slinky tech house groover or a moody dub burner, his records sound just as good in the big room as the living room. As well as his impressive and prolific production credits, Huerta continues to rack up gigs at some of the world's finest clubs and festivals. With his bag of dusty, under-the-radar digs, custom tailored edits, and ever present new original productions, Huerta has carved out signature DJ experience. In a clubland landscape saturated with sameness, Huerta remains a singular figure. Both in the booth and studio, he displays an intimate and deep knowledge of house music past, present, and future.Their RA profile lists Fuse London, SlapFunk Records, Oscillat Music, Slow Life and 3 more.often with GLOBUS, TRESOR, Eric Cloutier, none of them here that night

Not to mention being co- founder of the famed Robots parties and amusing us weekly as Robot Radio's alluring and witty host. Within the world of electronic music everyone has a tale about our friend Bill Patrick. Some funny, some sad, some tragic, most shady, but at the end of each story or any encounter with this demi god you're left wanting more. In 2008, this mythical creature, who by chance was reborn a man, relocated to Berlin. Why? Few know. Some say it was in search of gold, some suggest it was out of self-loathing, those in his inner circle say it was to be closer to them. He says it was to challenge the European state of mind and how sexually active they, as a people, can become. In any event all legend and lore were left behind. So where has that left this man, this nu-romantic? I'll tell you, striving to be more. It doesn't matter that the only places he now plays are festivals like Sunwaves in Romania, Outline Festival in Moscow or highly respected clubs like Closer Kiev, Robert Johnson and Concrete in Paris. After a much talked about 31 hour set at Sunwaves Festival in 2016, Bill and his partner in crime, tINI, have teamed up as Rolls “N” Do and now find themselves thrust into a whirlwind of high profile gigs. Currently touring the globe and vocally enlightening the Universe, Bill still finds time to keep his Instagram up to date and send out wildly entertaining content across all platforms. Not to mention, producing a monthly radio show, Chaotic Neutral, on OpenLab Radio and curating playlists for boutique hotels such as Hotels Costes in Paris, Baba Beach Club in Thailand and Guldsmeden Hotel in Berlin. But he wants to step out of his box and come to you, to educate the minds of the world with his deep, psychedelic take on contemporary dance music. - Words by Seth TroxlerLast at Circle Line Cruises in Sep · often with Greg Paulus, Kiyoshi, Gui Machado, none of them here that night
