2013 January Press Kit FROM BOMBAY DREAMS TO GLOBAL DOMINANCE……. JEZ BELIEVE!!!!! To say that the teenaged Jez Pereira was lucky enough to be propelled to the upper echelons of the Mumbai music scene would be a damned lie! It wasn’t luck. It was down to talent, determination and his unique signature freestyle sound all wrapped up in one of the nicest, most modest and insightful guys you’ll ever meet. After firmly making his presence known at home Jez turned his gaze towards global success. His journey began in London in 2006, where his skills, enthusiasm and ability to source an endless supply of "ear-gasmic" dance floor smash hits ensured his instant success and a formidable reputation. This lead to a long list of main room appearances such as the Paul van Dyke 2008 album launch party, X-Press 2 at Bedrock and regular bookings for The Gallery at Ministry of Sound. With his profile growing in the UK it wasn’t long before the rest of the world came knocking which resulted in performances in some of the world’s most happening cities such as Tokyo, Dubai, Moscow, Zurich, Ibiza, South America …. 2011 marked a step up in his global progression with gigs in New York & a prime spot at the infamous Burning Man Festival in Nevada where he headlined on the Tetris stage as well as an opening for ERICK MORILLO at the TAO nightclub in Las Vegas As if this weren’t enough he’s now doing insane bookings that most Djs never get a chance to play such as the Gumball Rally afterparties, Pacha Brazil, and private parties frequented by the likes of Will I Am, F1 driver Jenson Button and HRH Prince Harry. New Year’Eve 2011 at the renown End Club in Bogata Columbia (INSERT PHOTO) kicked off another phenomenal year in which Jez turned his hand to production. He was instantly signed to S&S Records Chicago and was commissioned with 4 new remixes which included a remix of Steve “Silk” Hurley’s No 1 UK and global smash hit and arguably one of the most influential house records of all time Jack Your Body! A Resident DJ at the Armani Prive Club in Dubai for the “Fashion overdose” event, Jez also performed for sponsors Red Bull in Amsterdam for the Queens Day Celebration & in Tokyo for the launch of their new energy drink.. This was followed by a head-lining gig at the Barbados Music Festival, performing alongside 4 times Grammy nominated artist Steve “Silk” Hurley and DJ Skip. Over the summer Jez performed at several exclusive private events in Ibiza for the Pacha67 yacht parties and in Sicily for the infamous“Ferragosto” to crowds of 2000 plus, the W Hotel Paris and a hugely successful return to Bogota’s biggest club The End frequented by the likes of Carl Cox, Joris, Vorn, Layo Bushwaka, Nicole Moudaber etc... Ending 2012 on a high, Jez was asked to perform for PACHA at their flagship club in Buzios, Rio de Janiero in Brazil and following this performance he went on as the main headline act at PACHA IBIZA’s Exclusive New Years’ Eve party in Livorno Italy to a 3000+ strong crowd (INSERT PHOTO/ flyer). The list of achievements goes on but we feel it’s time you check out what all the hype is about for yourself. A DJ with no end to his love for music he always gets fully immersed into his performance and always delivers what the crowd wants, so as he always says…“LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING”.
