Over the past decade, the New York-based artist has quietly amassed a loyal following through expansive DJ sets that defy genre & style - a testament to his deep crates and skilled mixing. Originally from Singapore, Marco co-runs the Darker Than Wax record label & is a weekly resident on The Lot Radio in Brooklyn. Coming out of a busy 2024, with mixes / features on Resident Advisor (“a true digger’s delight”), DJ Mag and XLR8R (“a mix that’ll suck you in wherever you are”), he’s hit a stride with appearances across the US / Europe and Asia at clubs and parties like Nowadays (NYC), Public Records (NYC), Wonderfruit Festival (Thailand), Dimensions Festival (Croatia), Rhythm Section (London), Potato Head (Bali). Marco explores old and new underground styles in the spirit of educating and entertaining dancers, unafraid to jump between Obscure Disco to 90s House, Detroit Techno to Jungle, you’ll have to come along for the ride to hear what’s next. In the day time you can catch them hosting their monthly show at Lot Radio titled What is an Ocean Between Us?. Inspired by the thinking of Claudia Jones, Suzanne Cesaire, and Edouard Glissant the series aims to celebrate the innate the condition of being Carribean, as being Carribean is to practice errantry — it is to search for one another across oceans, time, and in this case through sound. They've had the pleasure of hosting this series at both E-Flux and Montez Press as well. At night, DUNESKA explores a multitude of sounds as hard hitting as the city they're from including Dembow, Juke, Techno, and more. Their goal is simple — that you walk out the club feeling sexier than when you stepped in.

    the whole biography
Massachusetts born and Brooklyn based artist, producer and audio engineer Sophie Sawaya MacArthur, better known as Swaya, has spent a lifetime exploring the possibilities of storytelling and meaning making through sound. Raised by Brazilian and American parents, she spent her childhood studying violin before becoming disillusioned by the lack of creativity classical studies offered. She found her musical home on the internet becoming obsessed with hardcore punk, hip hop and experimental electronic music. A graduate of Communications Studies at Concordia University, she spent 5 years in Montreal where she was an active member of the music scene, performing her music at MUTEK, Pop Montreal, Slut Island, Never Apart, Datcha and more. Since she began posting her music online in 2016, Swaya has released 5 EPs and countless tracks, edits and mixes, consistently pushing and reinventing herself with each release. Beyond her personal artistic work Swaya is also an established producer and audio engineer, currently working with Brooklyn producer Tony Seltzer at his studio Seltzer Sounds. She has worked with the likes of Zelooperz, Babyxsosa, Key!, Hawa, Marti, Mercury, Michael Christmas, Magella and more.

Musician and writer, Spurge deejays in a fashion that is often dialectical in nature - weaving opposing elements together to construct a singular, political experience - honoring the practice of storytelling through selection while enjoying the sport-like aspects of DJing too. His chameleonic perspective to mixing shirks genre, freeing Spurge to jump from dancehall to techno to rock to electro, disco, house, ambient to whatever’s clever. Spurge’s musical knowledge is bolstered by a decade in the New York nightlife community, showcased through his playing history - Good Room, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Mansions, Nowadays - and the projects he’s been involved in: The Lot Radio, Sustain-Release, Captured Tracks Record Shop, Resident Advisor. His versatility as a DJ is demonstrated through bookings outside of the club for entities like Ace Hotel, Wythe Hotel, NTS, dublab and Something Special Studios as well as international bookings at clubs like Mitsuki (Tokyo), Offtrack (Singapore), and Super Rayo (Bogotá). Spurge runs the record label Eto Ano. His curation of the record label reiterates his capabilities as a selector, illustrated through releases like Pearly - Silver Of The Mirror (Remixes) and No Cash in Booth: A Compilation by Eto Ano (Supporting Decriminalizing the MTA). Through Eto Ano, Spurge maintains a research-based monthly show on The Lot Radio.
