His dynamic and diverse sets have captivated audiences for over a decade. He draws from early experiences in the underground community that once thrived in dusty warehouses and under-the-radar message boards to craft a style that moves seamlessly between deep and soulful house to ravey, broken beat and bass-heavy. Quantreau has made a name for himself in NYC with floor-melting performances, including an opening set for Psychemagik at Elsewhere's Zone One. He's played at vaunted venues, including Jupiter Disco, Mansions, TBA, Café Balearica, and on The Lot Radio with his Fortune Signal label-mates. With an expansive knowledge of underground dance music, Quantreau weaves sonic links between disparate styles to create genuinely unique sets. His selections reflect his 15 years as an observer, participator, and selector of underground dance music. Preferring not to be pigeonholed to a particular genre, he crafts sets to open up listeners to the new and unexpected. His infectious energy can draw even the most staunch trainspotters onto the floor. Quantreau is passionate about sharing the spotlight with other up-and-coming artists and fostering the next generation of electronic music talent. He's funneled that energy into Fortune Signal, the record label where he's a partner alongside D.D. Curry, DJ Fang, and K.mal. Starting in 2022, the imprint has five releases and counting from artists including DJ Burrito Boy, Akumen, Panooc, and Kyle Louis.Their RA profile lists Fortune Signal.Recently at Jupiter Disco, Café Balearica · often with DJ Fang, K.mal, D.D. DJ Alone Again’s October 2024 releases, “In My House We Dance” (House Salad Music) and “Live and Let Live” (Dog With A Bone), have garnered 111,000 and 55,000 streams respectively, marking momentum around his original music. Building on that, his 2025 single “4 My Heart” (Dobro) received editorial support on Spotify’s Deep House Grooves playlist, spotlighting his presence in the deeper, emotionally driven lane of the genre. In 2026, he reached a new milestone with his first vinyl release, the Sense of Self EP on YORE Records, which is currently recognized as a 2026 bestseller on Juno. As a DJ, he takes listeners on a similar journey through his sets, blending his tracks with others to create an immersive, emotive experience. With a growing presence in the underground scene, in the last year alone DJ Alone Again has performed at venues such as Jupiter Disco, Cafe Balearica, and Dead Letter No. 9.Their RA profile lists Yore Records and Wolf Music.Last at Jupiter Disco in Aug · often with The Pintauro Brothers, GEOTHEORY, Dirtyfinger, none of them here that night
