Who they are

  • Bedouin

“Bedouin is an American-based music production and DJ partnership consisting of Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Bedouin is an American-based music production and DJ partnership consisting of Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe. Together they share a broad sonic vision that pulls from their diverse influences owing to their Middle Eastern heritage, Western upbringing, and worldly travels. As musicians, singers, songwriters, and multi-instrumentalists, they've pioneered a distinctive and timeless sound that has connected with crowds from all corners of the world. Their sophisticated productions are featured on some of the world’s most notable labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, All Day I Dream, and recently their own imprint - Human By Default. Select major label releases include remixes for Black Coffee and Virgil Abloh on Ultra and Sony/Universal. They have called Burning Man home since 2012, making it their cultural, social, and musical experimentation playground for nearly a decade. Burning Man became a creative refuge and gave them the freedom to take a new musical approach. Being in a place that exposed them to new experiences, sounds, and feelings, they began carving a new sound that connects emotions and celebrates cultures around the world. It travels through time, telling stories rich with history but still with space for the future. Their time spent at Burning Man has been integral for the musical movement that is Bedouin. As some even say, "Bedouin...they are a genre on their own." The duo was featured twice on BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, once in 2016 and again in 2020, with four hours of all-original productions and remixes. In 2017, they earned the Essential New Tune title for their revered remake-cover of Pink Floyd’s “Set Control For The Heart Of The Sun” which was personally blessed by Pink Floyd's drummer Nick Mason. 2017 also marked the inception of the duo's weekly Ibiza residency and event concept, Saga, which quickly cemented itself as one of the island's most sought-after weekly parties, earning the 2019 award for "Best Night In Ibiza" by the DJ awards. They wrapped up 2017 by being named “Breakthrough artists of the year” by Mixmag. 2018 was another landmark year for the duo as they made their debut at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the US along with a series of European tours which included performances at major festivals like Tomorrowland and International Music Summit. Their European tour also included playing at some of Ibiza’s most iconic venues and events such as Circoloco at DC-10, Amnesia, Ushuaïa, and Hï Ibiza. Upon completion of their tour, they began a residency at Wynn Las Vegas, becoming one of the first underground acts to gain such status, as well as at Scorpios in Mykonos. Followed by a slew of original releases, 2020 marked the launch of their record label Human By Default with their Whistleman EP, which was featured on Forbes. Since its inception in 2017, Bedouin’s Ibiza residency, Saga, quickly cemented itself as one of the island’s most revered parties, celebrated by locals and visitors alike.[1] In 2017, Guy Laliberté handpicked Bedouin to helm Sunday nights at his HEART nightclub in Ibiza over the summer. Quickly establishing themselves as one of the island’s most compelling acts, the first season of their avant-garde SAGA residency was hailed as “one of the most successful season residency debuts of all time” by Pete Tong. Additional SAGA installments soon followed with the North American debut of the popular event series in their hometown of Brooklyn in December 2017 as well as in Miami during Miami Music Week in February 2018. Invited back to host a second consecutive season at the landmark Ibiza nightclub, Bedouin again presented an impeccably curated and diverse selection of some of the world’s most sought-after artists alongside their signature production and performers.

“While the world’s online, Chloé Caillet’s in the club.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
While the world’s online, Chloé Caillet’s in the club. Her music and kaleidoscopic DJ sets recall  utopic rave histories of the past: dance factories, the Balearic bliss of the ‘90s; a time when  smartphones didn’t mediate the clubbing experience. Caillet’s music encourages your full  presence, your phone deep in your pocket. Within just a few years Caillet, a DJ, producer, multi‑instrumentalist, has become one of  dance’s most vitalizing forces. In 2024 alone she logged tens of thousands of miles playing sets  and curating global communities with SMIILE, her queer‑centered club night. From playing  B2Bs with Jamie xx to closing the terrace at Ibiza’s Circoloco with Kylie Minogue in attendance,  Chloé Caillet has become your favorite pop star’s DJ, your favorite DJ’s DJ, soon to be your  favorite, too. A musician first, Caillet brings her near‑perfect pitch to the decks. She mixes in key, thinks in  textures and tonalities—fifths, thirds—and instinctively knows the sounds that will mesh  together best. Always at least three steps ahead of the track, she creates fine musical details  within her sets, setting up perfect harmonies on the fly. Her layering is subtle, but if you lean  closer you her years of classical study; her background in improvisational jazz. Initially drawn to rock music, she played keys and bass in a small psychedelic outfit named The  Clockwork as a teenager in Paris. Throughout her adolescence she performed in an array of  blues, garage and alternative rock bands across Paris and London before ending up in the  dance music space during Ed Banger’s most prolific era. By the time she moved to New York  City in her early twenties, LCD Soundsystem and DFA Records had overtaken the scene with  their dance‑rock revival, inspiring Caillet to carry over her prog credentials into her first DJ sets.  Initially drawn to production through her background in A&R, she quickly became a sensation  in the NYC dance music scene, playing and creating rock‑embellished electo reminiscent of  Greg Wilson’s early mixtapes, and later inspiring Beck to personally commission her for a remix  of his track “Chemical” in 2021. As her star began to rise further, Caillet gradually moved away  from her proggy roots and towards groove‑heavy house. “But I’ve definitely been feeling a pull  back to my roots lately,” says Caillet.

    the whole biography
Though she champions African inspired house, DESIREE is not limited to that style alone and prides herself on her eclectic tastes. As anyone who has experienced her in action will attest, she’s a nimble dancer with impeccable selecting skills. From deep house to techno, soulful cuts and that irresistible deep African vibration, it’s all in there. On the production tip, she unveiled her debut EP Femme Tech on Jackie Queens’ Bae Electronica in June 2022. This was followed by a remix of ‘Pussy Power’ by Keinemusik (feat. Nomi Ruiz). DESIREE is an intersex woman, born with chromosomal patterns that are male. The term intersex represents a broad specturm of non-binary biological characteristics and DESIREE is using her success to speak proudly about the condition.

  • DJ Seinfeld

Malmo, Sweden · 11 bookings since Oct 2023

“Armand Jakobsson is the artist known as DJ Seinfeld, Rimbaudian and Birds of Sweden.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Armand Jakobsson is the artist known as DJ Seinfeld, Rimbaudian and Birds of Sweden. Under these aliases you’ll find sweeping emotive cuts, verdant dancefloor workouts and discerning dips into jungle and breaks. Releases have come on respected labels including Meda Fury, Ectotherm, UN.T.O and Lobster Fury: the collaborative label from Lobster Theremin and Meda Fury begun for the explicit purpose of releasing his tracks. DJ Seinfeld’s beats are ultimately guided by an idea of authenticity, true to the spirit of the early house pioneers and the unabashed rawness the confines of their equipment demanded. A lot’s been made of this lo-fi fuzz, with many clamoring to declare it a scene, but he won’t be put into a box. His path is his own. A microphone picks up the tension and release of a singer: charged with emotion, the machine can’t handle it. The rough edges of his productions emit the same sensibility. Footage of his gigs or their post-show reaction exemplifies the reception he gets as a DJ. Biographies often claim a DJ regularly ‘sends crowds into rapture’ or ‘lays waste to the floor,’ but in DJ Seinfeld’s case pandemonium is the default. Mixes show his deft control of build-up and feel in the booth, while his mini series for legendary London station Rinse FM in May ‘DJ Seinfeld presents...’, was a master class in the kind of wonky left-field house he peppers his sets with. Armand began making music in Edinburgh at the suggestion of a respected friend. Time spent experimenting with music and exploring the possibilities contained within his laptop was cathartic relief from the grind of finishing his studies. Later returning to his hometown of Malmo, his interest in making music would intensify thanks to encouragement from his old school friends and a the looming spectre of a 9-5 lifestyle. A move to Barcelona and the end of a relationship resulted in extended sessions watching the classic American sitcom and the music made to reflect that appeared under the name DJ Seinfeld. Rimbaudian already had traction and DJ Seinfeld was really intended as a side-project to exorcise emotions felt at that time. At first, tracks appeared on music-sharing groups online but he didn’t claim ownership, despite the growing buzz. When his friend Courtesy’s label Ectotherm began asking who the mysterious producer was, he began to take note. Then before long, Lobster Theremin and Meda Fury followed suit. The point of no return though came one evening spent with Ableton and a few beers. The track ‘U’ was uploaded to Soundcloud, and the internet went into overdrive. Sampling Bob Geldoff’s account of his split with his wife, amid soaring chants and keys wrought in heartache, ‘U’ is almost voyeuristic in its honesty. It’s that truth, that realness, that defines what Armand’s music is about.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Jimi Jules is an international multi-Instrumentalist and producer, dedicating his successful career and education to the house and techno scene. Devoted to club culture having played over the world for 20 years, Jimi Jules is currently signed to renowned Berlin-based label Innervisions and collaborative booking agency Temporary Secretary. Besides, he collectively continually works with Defected Records, Innervisions, Zukunft, Watergate, Rumpelmusig, Hive Audio and Rebirth. Continuously on an exploration to push the boundaries and create new sound within the genre, most recently Jules was awarded a silver disk marking 200,000 sales of the 2020 track “Pushin On” released on Defected. No doubt a unique character within the music scene, Jimi Jules is well-known for his multidisciplinary approach having completed his master’s degree in music at the acclaimed University of Arts in Zurich. A descendant from a tribe of Caribbean voodoo-sorcerers and a Swiss farmer, Jimi Jules believes every little piece or second can turn into an inspiration moment: his children, family and friends to people watching from a bench and listening to the same drum loop for four hours. From The Grand Factory in Beirut to Brooklyn Mirage in New York (with every renowned club across the world in between) Jimi Jules orchestrates and conducts a club filled with thousands with the same force and energy as an intimate studio session, working alone or with other producers and musicians to discover new forms of music and sound. Endeavoring to blur the worlds of sound and art through the interplay of collaboration, Jimi Jules cites Dixon, Joy Tyson and Tugg the Dummer as creative partners as well as most recently working with multidisciplinary London creative Trevor Jackson to produce radically bold and innovative visuals and artwork to compliment the sound. A mentor, innovator and learner spanning the entirety of club culture and beyond. Jimi Jules’ second album titled “+” will be released on Innervisions,in 2022. The eleven track release available digitally and on vinyl was developed in Zurich and co-produced by Dixon, exploring the trauma of togetherness yet looks forward to a future aligned on positive thoughts and freedom. “Mita Gami creates electronic music not just for the sake of being heard, but to be felt, experienced.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Mita Gami creates electronic music not just for the sake of being heard, but to be felt, experienced. His understanding for clear themes, composition and build ups takes the listener on a journey, while his innovative pairing with elements from entirely different backgrounds breaks with expectations and thereby create his own musical worlds. The live performances of the multi-instrumentalist become rituals, and these rituals translate back into his productions, making them even more enchanting. His desire for music to be more than just sonic entertainment, but rather a psychedelic agent that expands the listeners mind, is evident. Growing up and becoming a vital part of the electronic music scene in Tel Aviv, not just by producing and performing from a very young age onwards, but also jointly running a label (Blue Shadow Records) and a music experience (‚Sunrise Kingdom‘ camp within ‚Midburn‘ Festival), it is apparent that Mita Gami’s greatest love is music. And the releases on renowned labels like Solomun’s Diynamic or Damien Lazarus’ Rebellion prove that others are equally convinced by his passion for it.

  • Seth Troxler

    Detroit · 15 bookings since Oct 2023

“Seth Troxler is one of electronic music’s most instantly recognisable artists.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Seth Troxler is one of electronic music’s most instantly recognisable artists. He has carved out his own unique path as a cultural commentator, art curator, restaurateur and entrepreneur. Descended from a family of cowboys and Baptist preachers, Seth is part African-American, with a singular approach to viewing the world through the prism of contemporary music culture. Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and raised in suburban Detroit, Seth learnt the art of DJing initially from his stepfather (then a college radio DJ) and later from working, at only 16, behind the counter in legendary Detroit record store ‘Melodies & Memories’. It wasn’t until Seth made the decision to explore new horizons in the mid-2000s, moving to Berlin fresh out of his teens (after debuting at Panorama Bar at just 18 years old), that his DJ career really took off. Since the move from Detroit to Berlin, then settling in London for a number of years, and now with his time divided between Ibiza and Berlin (Round 2), Seth has established himself as one of the world biggest DJs (voted the world’s number one DJ in scene bible Resident Advisor and gracing the front cover of Mixmag three times). He’s equally at home playing to the smoke-filled dance floors of some of the world’s most discerning nightclubs, such as CircoLoco, fabric (London), Nordstern (Basel), The Lux (Lisbon) or Blitz (Munich), as he is headlining the world’s largest festivals, like Glastonbury, Movement, Roskilde or Sonar. Right from the word go, Seth has been as passionate about food and contemporary art as he is about music, and these two interests have resonated at all points, and in parallel, to his music career. A multi faceted modern artist: he has held residencies at talismanic music institutions, run numerous record labels, and pursued his own solo recording career (including the recent ‘Play In The Dark’ collaboration with the Martinez Brothers on Crosstown Rebels, and ‘Lumartes’ that kick started CircoLoco Recordings in Summer 2021). Furthermore Seth has found the time to launch the successful Smokey Tails’ restaurant in London, to create and host his own party during the Rio Carnival, and then to stop everything and to take the time out to climb Kilimanjaro for charity. More recently Seth has focussed his creative energies on his ‘Lost Souls of Saturn’ project, alongside Phil Moffa and further opaque participants, that sits firmly at the intersection between futuristic electronica, contemporary art and technology. In 2019 Lost Souls Of Saturn presented their audio/visual installation Transmission at the Saatchi Gallery in London, after its premiere during Art Basel in Switzerland, and collaborated with the Met in New York and the Fondation Beyeler in Basel in 2021. Lost Souls Of Saturn are currently recording their second album and conducting further experiments in augmented reality and virtual reality, which will be revealed soon. Extremely well travelled, constantly searching and experiencing, Seth Troxler continues to follow his own unique path.
