Hailing from Rio de Janeiro and now firmly rooted in Brooklyn, Deo’Jorge is a multifaceted DJ, music producer, and event curator who has reshaped dance music communities across two continents. From his early days designing and directing art campaigns for major brands in Brazil to becoming the driving force behind influential nightlife movements, Deo’s journey has always been fueled by a relentless passion for authenticity and connection. In Brazil, Deo co-founded O/NDA, a groundbreaking free-party collective celebrated for reclaiming public spaces in Rio and creating a safe, inclusive environment at a massive scale. Initially a spontaneous birthday gathering, O/NDA quickly evolved into a vibrant cultural movement drawing thousands of people into the city’s underused and iconic locations. After moving to New York in 2017, Deo launched Hot Honey Sundays, initially a low-key, bring-your-own-beer event on the Greenpoint waterfront. It rapidly became one of Brooklyn’s favorite dance gatherings, attracting both legendary artists and emerging local talent. Over the past five years, Hot Honey Sundays has filled iconic venues including Knockdown Center, Brooklyn Mirage, and Elsewhere, returning now to Greenpoint in partnership with BK Backyard to reignite the neighborhood’s creative legacy. Known for his dynamic sets, Deo effortlessly weaves together deep house, soulful grooves, Latin rhythms, and sharp electronic textures, always keeping the energy fresh and dancefloors packed. Anna Collecta is a New York City- based DJ driven by dance music. Her signature sound embraces soulful, House and Disco sure to get any dance floor going. She has been a force in the scene for the past decade. She’s a turntablist at heart and avid vinyl collector. She is a Co-founder of Brooklyn's own Hot Honey Sunday's - one of the city's most popular dance parties. She is also a long time member of Rollerwave NYC who throws some of the largest roller disco events on the East Coast. She has played some of the hottest clubs in New York such as House of Yes, Avant Gardner and Superior Ingredients. Most recently, she joined Glitterbox and Defected Records, playing live events and online radio on Defected Broadcasting House. Bio Few DJs could adequately represent the last three decades of New York nightclub history - no less do so with such iconic credentials as Justin Strauss. Since he was 17, when his first band was signed to Island Records, Justin has had a career that reads like a Who’s-Who of the music scene, spinning at nearly every dance club that you’d ever want to go to. Starting as DJ at New York’s legendary Mudd Club, he spun his way through The Ritz, Limelight, Area, Tunnel, M.K., Life, Centro Fly and more, pioneering his own distinctive sound, and becoming one of the most sought-after remixers and producers not just in New York, but in the world. He has worked with the gamut of artists - Depeche Mode, Sergio Mendez, Tina Turner, Jimmy Cliff, B-52s, Luther Vandross, Malcolm McClaren, Skinny Puppy, Goldfrapp, to name a few (see full list) – and on over 200 records! Much of the new dance crowd that goes to hear Justin DJ today, whether at subMercer, The Standard, Highbar, Soho House, or Love, doesn’t necessarily know his history; they simply love his spinning because he always keeps them dancing and surprised, seamlessly mixing between choice classics, delectable rarities and innovative beats. For Justin, no genre or style is off-limits – he can and will mix anything, so long as he can keep the crowd enthralled. His self-proclaimed mission is “connecting the dots” between what might otherwise seem disparate musical periods and styles, while introducing exciting new sounds. He does so with infectious passion, subverting preconceptions about what’s old and new, and inspiring young DJs with his masterful skill and ever-youthful spirit. For the last 12 years, the way that Detroit-based DJ Pontchartrain has approached music, is centered around two things - learning and sharing. The result has been an interesting change up from the status quo of what comes out of the motor city. What started off as a project for edits and DJ tools has turned into a rediscovery of the roots of dance music. This shift in the last few years has pushed him into the new opportunities with some of the greatest labels in disco and house realm, and interesting achievements across the globe. After joining up as A&R for the prolific label Whiskey Disco and its house subsidiary Lovedancing, his scouting of new talent has widened his musical scope even more, and his DJ style and productions have continued to advance. In addition to curating these two outlets, in the past few years alone he has released on well over a dozen labels, including Kolour LTD, Rocksteady Disco, Delusions of Grandeur, Toy-Tonics, Soul-Clap Records, Masterworks Music, Razor-N-Tape and many more. Output has been nothing short of consistent, hitting #1 chart positions on established outlets such as Juno, several times, in multiple genres. When it comes to performances, Pontchartrain believes in the overarching goal of community. From the time he brought the Detroit Children’s Choir on stage with him at Movement Festival to sing along, to the bold invocations of poetry and messages of love, the dancefloor is a place for everyone to come as they are, and enjoy the people they are with, centered around the ancient idea of the communal dance. Like many of the great Detroit artists he looks up to, there’s a humble blue collar aspect to his background as well. Pontch still works as a social worker directly with drug addicts getting back on their feet right here in the motor city. He volunteers with groups such as Give A Beat, LRNG, Girls Rock Detroit, local public libraries, and is now a volunteer and teacher at Spin Inc music production school. Music is truly a way of life, part of the greater idea of lifting each other up. His actions, sounds, and personality encompass this idea.
