the whole biography
P1no is a nonbinary Venezuelan DJ/producer born, raised, and based in Miami, FL. Their identity, culture, and upbringing heavily influence their creative work and performances. They deliver high-energy performances, inspired by the “hora locas” they grew up with at their family’s functions. Having spent the last 3 years in Boston, they hold a degree in Music Production and Engineering from Berklee College of Music, using that experience in their sets to curate the vibe that a party requires. They have hosted and organized many events alongside local and touring talent and collectives, and performed alongside artists such as Tinashe, Amanda Lepore, Aja, LOKA, 2AT, CRRDR, Aleroj, Isablu, Brenda Internacional, Poncili Creación, blksmiith, Joey Cash, Micro, Tromac, SJAYY, DJ Nanoos. Notably, in their first year in Boston, they showcased their energy and culture at the 2023 Boiler Room Boston Friday alongside Roiju, and their video garnered 10k views on the Boiler Room YouTube channel. Their love and commitment to their community motivates their career more than anything else, consistently featuring and collaborating with underground artists within Boston, New York, Miami, Venezuela, and the Latinx Diaspora. With a production and engineering career that spans 5 years, collaborations with Latinx record labels; most notably Maluko Records from Venezuela, MUAKK from Colombia, and NoFutureBerlin and performances in Boston, New York, Miami, and Charlotte.
