Julie Marghilano is a multi talented musician and performer - trained classical violinist, daughter of a jazz musician father and vocalist mother, her roots run deep and have flourished throughout the endeavours she's pursued, created or worked on. The DJ, producer and label owner of Sol Asylum is an eclectic selector with a library of records spanning years that explores a myriad of nuances and genres within dance music and beyond. With coveted residencies in the formative years of renowned clubs in Italy, Peter Pan, Echoes, and most recently the Berlin institution, Club der Visionäre/Hoppetosse, Julie has solidified her place as a respected artist in the dance music scene. Hailing from Las Vegas, she now calls Berlin home after residing in Italy. She regularly travels the world touring in clubs and festivals the caliber of Flash - Washington, Golden Records - New York, Slowdance - Moscow, and Freerotation festival. Recently, she has pushed her musical boundaries by experimenting with different genres and creating an experimental ambient track using 7 violin loops for the Advanced Public Listening compilation featuring impressive musical masters such as Matthew Herbert, Move D, Takeshi Nishimoto, Atom TM, Ricardo Villalobos and more. As an unwavering artist, Julie is committed to showcasing her musical vision through the release of vinyl records, secret AKA projects and dynamic DJ/live performances. Titonton Duvante has long been a cult favourite of those who know for well over two decades. Hailing from Columbus in Ohio, his musical and heady sound has a certain kick to it that root you to the floor yet always help you arrive at your destination. With more than 25 years in the industry, he has kept himself at the forefront of the scene both as a DJ and producer, spearheading his Residual Recordings (formed in 1998) with acclaimed releases from himself and many other artists such as Boo Williams & John Tejada. Being a multi instrumentalist from a young age reflects in Duvante’s ever green sound, with a class that will never fade away. In the studio he has cooked up releases on a great deal of the vital labels out there, positioning himself where you dream to be when you start out as an artist. With over 50 releases to his name, Titonton is showing no signs in taking his foot off the gas. He is as productive as ever in 2023 with more lined up on a great variation of platforms. The coming years will see him casting a lot of attention to his Residual imprint, several records are already in the pipeline. In the booth he is just as accomplished: his tight mixing and on point selections - as well as superb scratching skills - make for considered dance floor adventures that always get people deep into the groove. Old school yet firmly looking forward, he is a real master of his art who imbues everything he does with the sort of passion and knowledge that always stands him apart. Maintaining the rhythms of the past, and combining them with the fresh and unique flavours you will find in record stores of recent times. An Italian born cosmopolitan, Camilla has roamed the globe for over six years, fueled by her father’s legacy in Italy’s progressive rock scene. From Cuneo, her hometown, to Brooklyn,where she now resides, her DJ journey has embraced diverse communities, including the vibrant scenes of Turin, Lisbon, Boston, and particularly New York and Brooklyn. Camilla has performed in various clubs and parties in New York and worldwide, including the likes of Resolute, Public Records, Elsewhere, Sunday Sessions LA and Harbour in Lisbon. Oscillating between classic old-school records and cutting edge sounds, her sets (mostly on vinyl) encompass diverse styles of electronic music including house, techno, electro and breaks. Overall, her journeys tend to be spacey and acid-heavy, leaning into bass-driven, uplifting beats when the time is right. In 2021, Camilla launched Encrypted, a celebrated event series in New York. Encrypted parties cherish intimate locations and a welcoming atmosphere, long DJ sets and international bookings paired with local talent. Artists booked include Giammarco Orsini, Anderson, Cristian Sarde, Unai Trotti and Matthias. This project is pawing the way for an upcoming record label, coming in the near future.
