Hi, I'm a NYC-based DJ originally haling from Texas that focuses on 160 BPM articulate & percussive music. My goal in DJ-ing is to provide: 1. what is missing in the community I am a part of 2. something a crowd didn't not expect they wanted to hear 3. an interesting & unique artistic experience, and 4. something that makes people move their body in novel ways To achieve the above stated goals I use everything I listen to on and off the dance floor. Yelzin, Arca, DJ Sliink, Eve, MM, Fever Ray, lain__d, Kode 9, Christian Coiffure, GFOTY, Chynna, c0ncern, Tensal, Four Tet. You get the idea. I work with long blends of tracks sharing beat patterns with each-other like a body full of viruses, like a block of dirt filled with rhizomes. Sips of DNA passed back and forth, picking up momentum, heat, & more DNA on every swap. Collage is everything to me, and in music I think it's the best way to say what you wanna say. Through all of this, I play Club Music, so the one requirement is that you can move to it.often with Elly DJ, Astral_Dejection, Janus Rose, none of them here that night

Nanoos is a Palestinian-Armenian DJ and producer originally hailing from Detroit. Her current home base now is Chicago. Nanoos aims to elevate the rich and diverse sounds of the Levant and North Africa by infusing them with genres such as Ghettotech, Juke, Hip Hop, Jersey Club, UK garage, Dancehall, and House. Her goal is to carve out inclusive spaces where Arab and SWANA (SouthWest Asian & North African) folks can feel safe while enjoying their sound. As a visionary co-founder of the Go Baba!
