Hailing from a city steeped in house culture, Chicago’s John Summit has quickly become the hottest name in dance music worldwide. His feel-good floor-fillers take the pumping grooves of his hometown’s classic house music, add a healthy dose of melody, and top it all off with 2020s studio polish. Summit’s prolific output has resulted in the accumulation of 5 million monthly Spotify listeners, the top-selling artist across all genres on Beatport in 2021, and a #1 track on US Dance radio with his record ‘Human’. In 2022 he’s set to tour across the globe with key festival plays at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Tomorrowland, Bonnaroo, Parklife, and more. With the announcement of his new label/event brand ‘Off The Grid’, Summit is displaying no signs of slowing down anytime soon.Their RA profile lists Defected Records, Positiva, Dirtybird, Toolroom Records and 4 more.Last at Randall's Island in Sep · often with GRiZ, DANSYN, Madi, none of them here that night
“Mita Gami creates electronic music not just for the sake of being heard, but to be felt, experienced.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Mita Gami creates electronic music not just for the sake of being heard, but to be felt, experienced. His understanding for clear themes, composition and build ups takes the listener on a journey, while his innovative pairing with elements from entirely different backgrounds breaks with expectations and thereby create his own musical worlds. The live performances of the multi-instrumentalist become rituals, and these rituals translate back into his productions, making them even more enchanting. His desire for music to be more than just sonic entertainment, but rather a psychedelic agent that expands the listeners mind, is evident. Growing up and becoming a vital part of the electronic music scene in Tel Aviv, not just by producing and performing from a very young age onwards, but also jointly running a label (Blue Shadow Records) and a music experience (‚Sunrise Kingdom‘ camp within ‚Midburn‘ Festival), it is apparent that Mita Gami’s greatest love is music. And the releases on renowned labels like Solomun’s Diynamic or Damien Lazarus’ Rebellion prove that others are equally convinced by his passion for it.Their RA profile lists Crosstown Rebels, Diynamic Music and REALM.Recently at 99 Scott Ave, The 1896 · often with Adam Ten, BLOND:ISH, Nico Bernardini, none of them here that night
