Maayan Nidam, also performing as THE WAVES is an artist in flux, continues to change, evolve and challenge boundaries both in her Berlin studio and on stage. She has built a reputation as a fine producer, live performer & DJ who favours a subtle approach towards mesmeric moments. Her DJ sets, predominantly based in stripped-back, deep sounds, utilise an intriguing vinyl collection, using obscure interludes for re-contextualisation. This approach makes for some magical moments on the dance-floor, where a night’s highlight may come from the most unlikely of tracks. As a musician obsessed about sound and the technology behind its creation, her workflow places a strong focus on the studio environment. Triggering chain reactions between guitar pedals, drum machines, modular synths and acoustic instruments, generating sounds in unpredictable, exciting ways. As THE WAVES, Maayan has developed a solo live set that allows her to further her studio experiments and take them on the road. With a flexibly evolving range of hardware, she re-creates the spontaneous frame of her productions, delving deep into the possibilities of live dubbing and improvisation, keeping the performance exciting for both the crowd and Maayan herself.Their RA profile lists Perlon, Wolf + Lamb, Powershovel Audio, Giegling and 3 more.often with Jason Lindner, Thomas Melchior, André Galluzzi, none of them here that night
“There are DJs, and then there are DJ’s DJ's.”

There are DJs, and then there are DJ’s DJ's. Julien Veniel, artist name D’Julz, is undoubtedly one of the latter - a true craftsman behind the decks whose true strongest skill is his ability to go beyond mere genres and trends, deciding instead to actively shape the ever-changing soundscape of electronic music through his own productions, DJ performances and parties. Through a career spanning two and half decades, D’Julz has practically done it all. He began spinning in Paris, often playing his home city’s much-talked about early 90’s raves and legendary clubs, all before moving to New–York in 1993 to further hone his skills and cement his reputation as a true taste-maker in his field. The rest, as they say, is history. Despite finding himself in high demand in every corner of the globe, from the States to Japan and countless countries in between, D’Julz has always remained true to his roots in Paris, where he has been running the now legendary “Bass Culture” night at Rex club since 1997. In tandem with the birth of his party D’Julz has dedicated a large amount of time and energy into the production side of his musical output. Solo-wise his music has been signed to some of the world’s finest underground labels – Circus Company, Robsoul, Ovum, Rekids, 20:20 Vision and more. Since D’Julz started producing he has been responsible for a long list of tracks and remixes that have become essential weapons in the record boxes of the world’s DJ elite. As a DJ he exudes class and panache. A gifted curator of music whose pedigree has earned him a loyal international following and a constant tour schedule which sees him travel the worlds major cities every week playing the best venues they have on offer. Not to mention the infamous Circoloco (DC10) where he has held a long-standing residency, taking charge of the main room and the world-renowned red terrace room several times each summer season. Each set demonstrating D’Julz’s uncanny ability to weave his penchant for dub elements into the house and techno sphere and rocking DC10 with potent groove and sultry rhythms. D’Julz remains as enthusiastic as he was when he first started DJing, as his Bass Culture label goes from strength to strength, clocking over 50 releases and he continues to traverse the globe rocking dance floors every weekend. A true legend and one who will continue to be at the top of his game…Their RA profile lists Ovum Recordings, Ibadan Records, Rekids, Circus Company and 5 more.often with Henriku, Alexander Skancke, Sedef Adasï, none of them here that night

“Navid, known as Navbox, is an NYC-based DJ, producer, and passionate music curator from Iran.”

the whole biography
Navid, known as Navbox, is an NYC-based DJ, producer, and passionate music curator from Iran. Born in Tehran, he moved to the U.S. with his family to escape the regime that imprisoned his father for most of his childhood. His deep roots in music began when he started playing piano at the age of four, which shaped his musical path forward. Navbox started DJing in the early 2000s, mastering his craft in Boston's underground scene while studying at university. Later he presented shows under Stranger Than Paradise (STP) in Washington, DC, which became a key platform for the city’s electronic music culture. He played a major role in shaping the scene in DC in a nascent period, curating countless shows over a decade and playing alongside the likes of Zip, Sonja Moonear, Delano Smith, Thomas Melchior, Cassy, DJ Qu, DJ Three, Danny Tenaglia, N/UM and many more. He has performed internationally at iconic venues like Hoppetosse and Club der Visionaere in Berlin, Output in New York, Fábrica De Arte in Havana, and the desert of Egypt. Blending minimal and rhythmic sounds with a deep respect for the roots and future of electronic music, he has little care for genres: focusing on good music alone. Fusing downtempo to minimal and house, and moving to the harder sounds of techno, there is a time and place for every sound. In addition to DJ’ing, he spends his time organizing shows under Respekt Music. These are opportunities to share his love for music and sound systems in various contexts and environments, further expanding his journey in sound across a wide spectrum of musical experiences. He joins the ReSolute NY team of resident DJ’s in the Spring of 2025.Last at Elsewhere in Sep · often with Stretch, Shaun Reeves, night, none of them here that night
