Just like the ‘80s soundtrack bangers she’s known to slip into many a peaktime set, Lauren Murada’s origin story is a classic coming-of-age movie straight off the big screen—but make it NYC, and definitely make it disco. In search of the perfect dance floor to call home, she booked a one way ticket from Sydney to the City That Never Sleeps in 2014, and never looked back… One step into the world of her infamous party series Love Games and it’s clear that she’s made her dreams come true: It’s a love letter to disco made manifest, forged in part from her nine-year tenure as Production Manager at Good Room, and carefully honed through countless nights spent on Brooklyn dance floors and behind the decks. Championing beloved pioneers from the Golden Era of disco with reverence, the party equally sets the stage for the joyfully abundant expressions of the next gen. Lauren and fellow party resident Finn Jones host legendary DJs and devotees alike as they spin across the spectrum of timeless classics, leftfield treasures, mind-melters and guilty pleasures. Swept off their feet by undeniable grooveladen sets served by the likes of François K, Mark Grusane, CC:Disco!, Session Victim, Dee Diggs and more, dancers are held in the warmest embrace of balloons and mirrorball kisses—at Love Games, everyone’s a winner. Joy continues to take the lead in Lauren’s production work. Her hot n’ ready edits [out on the cheeky Fundido chaps’ eponymous Brooklyn-based label] range from funky tongue-in-cheek serenades [“Married Men”], sleaze-tastic glam rock gems [“Paradise Garage”], to blazingly glorious femme anthems [“Under Fire”] that will have you reaching for your hairbrush mic! They’re a perfect extension of who she is today as a DJ and selector—an irrepressible force of Fun, dedicated to surprising her dance floors with an open invitation to Love.Recently at The Last Call, Jupiter Disco, Good Room · often with Party Dad, Love Games, Ryan McKnight, none of them here that night

Finn has been seen on dancefloors all over New York City since 2017 after moving from London. It wasn't long before he got behind the decks himself and has been a Good Room resident since 2018 with Love Games, a party he throws with Lauren Murada. Finn is also part of the crew which throws Disco Summer Camp at Glen Falls House every Labor Day weekend. Finn has an anything goes attitude when he's in the booth. In one night you might hear a Mariah Carey house mix, an AC/DC classic, and indie dance remix or some diva disco. If it makes you want to get down, Finn will play it.Recently at Good Room, Razor-N-Tape Flagship Store, The Last Call · often with Love Games, Party Dad, Steph Vaye, none of them here that night
