Transmitting the glossy textures of techno, trance and experimental music, Anetha whips up bouncy basslines, stomping kickdrums, glorious melodies and a sprinkling of melancholic motifs, sharing her sound in seminal clubs and legendary festivals worldwide. From the industrial setting of Berghain, the sleek surroundings of Hï Ibiza, the dome of Gashouder and the open-air haze of Stone Techno, Anetha has garnered a loyal audience across the Americas, Europe, Australasia and beyond. Delivering lush and luminous productions and DJ sets, the Bordeaux-based artist works with attention to detail, creative construction, and nimble mixing, as one would expect from an artist with an architectural background. Over the last few years, Anetha has released her album on Mama Told Ya, welding a palette of post-club, techno, nu-wave, rave, and DnB while exploring themes of sustainability, femininity, toxic masculinity, and unwarranted opinions within the music industry, approached with her trademark playfulness and irony. During this time, she also took the stage at the Closing Ceremony of the Paris Paralympics at the Stade de France, performing in front of 80,000 people and millions of viewers alongside 23 electronic music artists, a bold moment that resonated globally for techno. In 2025, she launched her first AV show, EXHIBIT, directed by FEMUR, touring across Europe with special dates at DGTL, Dour Festival, Sónar, and Nuits Sonores. Several releases colour Anetha's discography, from her debut EP 'Ophiuchus' on Berlin-based label Work Them in 2015 and a myriad of EPs, singles and remixes on imprints like Anagram and OAKS and her own label, Mama told ya. Launched in 2019 and co-founded by Anetha and her skilled, close-knit team of friends and family, Mama told ya platforms rising stars and encourages them to express themselves through music, no matter the stage of their journey. Limited edition and earth-friendly merch, including clothing and fragrance, extends the realm of Mama told ya alongside label showcases. And then, there's Fané.e. It's a new label from Anetha and the MTY family. Every release follows a seasonal schedule, where tracks will be available to download and stream for a finite period until blossoming once more the following season. The label aims to share high-quality, genre-fluid productions without the restrictions of a vinyl-led imprint and to cultivate a more environmentally friendly way to consume music. In 2020, Anetha launched the talent agency Mama loves ya to nurture emerging artists worldwide. When it comes to sustainability, the agency walks the walk. Mama loves ya works with the carbon management project Greenly, helping offset, reduce and compensate for its carbon footprint and decrease CO2 emissions. Actions include implementing eco-riders and operating an open calendar on the MLY website, showing promoters where and when each artist is due to play, thus reducing travel distance between bookings. Born in Bordeaux to nu-wave and electroclash-inclined parents, Anetha moved to London and then Paris, where she studied and graduated in architecture. There, she co-founded the label and party series Blocaus in 2012, honing her skill as a DJ and shaping her profile on the Parisian scene for the guts of ten years. Now, Anetha has evolved into a fully established and globally recognised artist, blurring the lines between art, music and fashion through her artistry and relationships with fashion designers Marine Serre and Rombaut. If anyone can balance the tasks of touring, producing, and co-managing two record labels and a talent agency with poise, it's Anetha.

Having cut his teeth over the last decade coming up through Brooklyn’s warehouse scene, NYC-based Auspex has solidified himself as a regular fixture and contributor to its underground techno community, a DJ, producer, label boss and tireless organizer very much at home in the city's vibrant queer nightlife scene. Having made regular appearances over the years at such legendary parties like The Bunker, Merge and Unter, he soon found himself at the helm of the transcendent party ALTÆR when Basement emerged onto the club-scape. Now six years running, ALTÆR has become known for its immersive and music-driven line-ups, pulling the together some of the world’s best international techno and house talents. He’s also made frequent appearances in Berlin at venues like RSO , Griessmuehle and most recently Berghain, as well as appearances at underground functions like Pornceptual, Gegen and STAUB. Most recently, he launched his own techno imprint Templum to showcase his production work and some of the hottest and most prolific producers of hypnotic and raw techno working in the industry today. With a healthy and robust release calendar already in the pipeline, Templum is poised to become a major source of dance floor fire power in the months and years ahead. Musically, Auspex conjures techno as a space of collective hypnosis—with sets that move with fluid precision and driving percussion through intergalactic expanses, leading dancers through spiraling grooves and sensory depth, shaping an experience that’s equal parts body ritual and psychedelic voyage. As a classically-trained multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, his compositions are in infused with narrative tension and a rambunctious mischief, driving dance floors to bedlam and then back again.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Clarisa Kimskii has cemented her musical footprint on the borough since moving back in 2022. Through a palpable blend of psychedelic and driving techno, Clarisa’s approach to the genre is deeply idiosyncratic - an assemblage of both timeless and modern grooves. As a producer, Clarisa has contributed to a handful of respected labels (Monday Off, Dusk & Haze, Mysteries of the Deep, etc.) within her sonic niche, but it’s through her own label L.A.G where the ethos of her sound truly takes form - a detailed variation of propulsive and atmospheric soundscapes. Clarisa is deeply rooted in the techno subculture’s underground, and in early 2022 - the 20+ year veteran was named resident DJ of the Brooklyn-based, queer party Merge. Through her former residency at Merge and regular appearances at the city’s premiere institutions in BASEMENT Nowadays and Bossa Nova Civic Club Clarisa’s prestige is undeniably felt. Her pure, yet passionate approach to DJing has graced the decks of memorable nights at international institutions in Berlin's Berghain, Tbilisi's Khidi, and at notably iconic parties in Wrecked, Club Toilet, and The Bunker NY. Recent festival appearances at Taiwan’s Organik Festival and North America’s Honcho Campout, Sustain-Release, Whole Festival , Draaimolen and The Great Beyond have only elevated her reputation as a force within those respective communities. Concrete Husband is a NYC-based producer, DJ, composer, and flutist whose work bridges hypnotic techno, contemporary composition, and surrealist sound design. His forward-thinking dance records Piel and Pelvic Resonance, released on White Owl Records, received critical acclaim, with Document Journal describing his music as “redefining avant-garde composition.” Educated at New England Conservatory, he draws on a deep knowledge of musical history to create emotionally charged sonic narratives that blur the line between the sensual and the uncanny. His DJ sets move through hypnotic grooves and psychological tension. A fixture of the Brooklyn techno scene, he has been seen countless times at BASEMENT, Paragon, and Knockdown Center, as well as at WIRE Festival and Merge. He is a resident of the Mexico City collective Pervert. As a composer and flutist, he merges virtuosic performance with experimental approaches to sound. Integrating live flute into his work, he has developed a singular performance language that led Eartheater to invite him to open her 2024 international tour, alongside a headline debut at Silent Green. His compositions have been presented at Amant, MoMA PS1, Museum of Modern Art, MUNCH, and Palazzo Reale. He has also scored Dion Lee’s Shanghai Fashion Week presentation and contributed flute compositions to the A24 film Beau Is Afraid. their own biography

    the whole biography
A global pillar of the techno scene, continuously pushing the underground forward. Few artists have carved out a legacy quite like Dax J. Born in London, the DJ and producer rose from backroom parties to headlining the world’s biggest techno institutions, all while staying true to the underground and cultivating a distinctive sound that is unmistakably his own. Armed with exceptional technical skill, deep knowledge of rare and obscure records, and a meticulous focus on cutting edge sound design, Dax J has established himself as a singular force at the forefront of modern techno. His unwavering dedication has earned him consistent recognition, including multiple Top 100 placements in Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, and Groove Magazine polls, as well as nominations for Best Techno DJ, Best Breakthrough DJ, and Best British DJ from Mixmag, DJ Mag, and the DJ Awards. He is well known for his marathon closing sets, including legendary 10 hour performances at iconic clubs such as Berghain and Bassiani. As a prolific producer and label owner, his trademark sound remains in constant rotation among the scene’s most respected DJs. This signature style was first fully realised on his highly acclaimed 2015 debut album Shades of Black, released on his own Monnom Black label. Mixmag named it Album of the Month, Hardwax called it “brilliantly banging,” and it reached No.1 on Juno Records’ charts. In 2018, he followed with the multi-faceted Offending Public Morality, which earned BBC Radio 1’s “Biggest Record of the Week” and featured in the year-end Top 50 Albums lists of DJ Mag, Tsugi, and Apocalypse Mag. That same year, his debut Radio 1 Essential Mix landed him in the BBC Hall of Fame, while Be.At.TV named his 4-hour closing set at NeoPop Festival the “Best DJ Set of the Year”. Dax J continued his evolution with the 2021 album Utopian Surrealism, which Groove Magazine placed in their Top 5 Albums of the Year, and the track “Simulated Reality” was featured at the Beijing Contemporary Art Expo. In 2022, he released Soul Enforcer, a powerful response to the war in Ukraine, described by Resident Advisor as a “highlight showing off Dax’s range.” Most recently, his 2024 album War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength — a bold Orwellian reference — received widespread critical acclaim, with Juno calling it “Basic Channel on steroids.” The initial pressing sold out within its first week. At this point, it’s hard to imagine what more he could possibly achieve. Already cemented as one of the leading figures in techno, as a DJ, producer, and label head operating at the absolute highest level, one thing is certain: his passion for the music burns brighter than ever, and his relentless drive to push the genre forward in bold, unexpected directions shows no signs of slowing. Dax J remains a true visionary, leading the way for everyone who celebrates the depth, darkness, and limitless diversity of electronic music.

In the 2010s, Juana made her mark in DC as one of only a handful of techno DJs and a resident of the legendary rave, Sequence, and started regularly touring North and South America and EU. In the 2020s, Juana picked up major momentum, becoming a resident of the renowned rave Unter and making frequent appearances at Basement, Nowadays, and Paragon. Stemming from Lecce Massimilano Pagliara has been based in Berlin for several years where he's been one of the main forces behind recombining the city's hardboiled techno scene with an often overlooked sensibility for the soft and the tender. Call it underground disco passion. Massi describes his style as an eclectic mix of house, disco, electro and techno – one may call it current-yet-classic. DJing has since led to production. These days Massi lets his obsession with analog synths run wild – usually he's holed up in his apartment studio, working on his latest productions. Massimilano's last and sophomore album, ‘With One Another’ (LARJ, 2014), was about celebrating the joy of human encounters and in parts seemed like a big get-together with like-minded artists and friends. The record quickly hit the number one spot in Groove magazine's album chart – and its creator hit the road. Besides his busy DJ schedule and far from the usual club circuit routines, the Panorama Bar resident dedicated himself to intense travelling and exploring the world anew. ‘Feel Live’, Massimiliano's third full-length endeavour was recorded in several intimate, sometimes improvised studio settings between Los Angeles, Portland, and Massimiliano's homebase in Berlin as well as at airports and on intercontinental flights high up in the sky – Massi's most playful and imaginative work to date. It's as emotional as sensual, as vibrant as the first ray of light after a thunderstorm has cleared the air.

    the whole biography
Oscar Mulero's DJ career has been as prolific and long lasting as the evolution of dance music. As a key figure in its development, Oscar has always absorbed new trends and kept his finger on the pulse of electronic dance music, from the end of the 80’s right up to the present day. It is impossible to understand his genius without taking into account the tireless work he has carried out behind the decks for over two decades. Production-wise he's been releasing records since the late 90’s, with countless 12" vinyls and several studio albums, as well as many remixes for the best players in the scene. He runs Warm Up, his very own imprint, since 2000 as well as the label PoleGroup Records since 2004, both of which have reached the 50 releases mark. On 2013 he started a series of live A/V performances under several project names like Light and Dark, Biolive and Monochrome AV. In 2019 he will celebrate his thirty-year career with a very special secret lineup party in Madrid that will be much talked about because of its concept and the quality of the guests. 2019 also meant the Selection Natural project peak time with releases in Pole Group and performances all over the club universe. The uncertain days of 2020 and 2021 meant a sudden stop of all touring action but Oscar kept busy with his studio work. A bunch of releases saw the light during that period and his audiovisual project Monochrome had some performances under the security environment required those days. Now near the end of 2021 most of the club activity has returned and Oscar has again a full schedule gigwise. We also celebrate his 20 years in production with releases on Token records, Semantica, and his very own Warm Up Recordings with a new limited vinyl series called WUBC mostly available on Bandcamp.

“Rødhåd has been shaping his deep and driving signature sound for almost two decades since his early days in Berlin’s off-grid party scene.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Rødhåd has been shaping his deep and driving signature sound for almost two decades since his early days in Berlin’s off-grid party scene. Starting with his first residency at the long-defunct Zementgarten in 2006, he went on playing venues and festivals of all sizes and magnitudes. Known for relentless DJ sets that meld uncompromising techno with highly emotional atmospheres and soundscapes, he’s managed to have a major impact on the world’s most cherished floors while remaining passionately independent. Rødhåd continues to abstain from excessive hype, staying very much connected to the community that formed him. In the last years he deepened his interest in the communal aspect of electronic music even further, curating excessive multipersonal live jams at places like Berghain or Dekmantel Festival. By launching Dystopian in 2009, first as a party series and later as a label, he made a distinct mark on Berlin’s techno landscape through a raw and honest vision, that felt true amid the city’s more dark and industrial edge. With releases from the likes of Alex.Do, Recondite, Distant Echoes or Rødhåd himself, Dystopian cemented itself as one of Berlins major techno trademarks throughout the decade of its existence. In 2017 Rødhåd released his debut LP Anxious, demonstrating his versatility as producer, spanning straightforward techno to dim and dusky ambient tunes. With his latest imprint, WSNWG, he created a platform for collaborative explorations in sound and texture with long-time companions and newfound friends alike. While the label’s core output remains a steady stream of dancefloor oriented 12”s it also released full-length albums that venture deeper into experimental and exploratory territories. The concept album series Out Of Place Artefacts (with Vril) takes the listener on a journey through deep introspection and otherworldly land- and soundscapes, while always always alluding to the rich tradition of electronic music in an abstract and mediated rather than direct way. Released in 2022, the LP In Vere (with JakoJako) departs from the characteristically dark and melancholic undertone of Rødhåd’s work, delving into lush, organic textures and ethereal, arpeggiated themes, also implementing elements of electronica. The sublabel WSNWG Back To Zero is devoted to solo releases and compilations, launched in 2020 through the highly acclaimed LP Mood, comprising archive material from 2017/2018, marking Rødhåd’s first purely ambient and experimental release, free of any dancefloor ambition. Over the years, Rødhåd has proved himself as a proponent of true craftsmanship, applying the same rigour to his work in the studio as to selecting and mixing records. Remaining hands-on, and keeping a down-to-earth mentality - steering clear of spectacle - has made him a long-established staple in the electronic music community.

Focusing all of his artistic energy solely on DJing, the Berlin-based DJ crafts long, percussive narratives that swing between sweat and sweetness. With an ever expanding record collection, his sets span groove-led house, tribal-leaning techno, and the teasing, flirtatious heartbeat of a good ballroom. His Panorama Bar residency, lasting over a decade, has shaped his sound signature. In Berghain’s most playful room, Perez has refined a way of mixing that feels expansive without losing intimacy. The same spirit follows him to Dekmantel, Glastonbury Festival and other stages worldwide, and he is equally at home in the steamy basements we all love so much. In short: Roi Perez is a key figure wherever long sets, instinct and mischief shape the night. Perez’s own party LAUNDRETTE traces dance music back to its queer roots through time-stretching sets and a deep attunement to the room’s collective resonance. The project also directs funds to marginalised communities and humanitarian initiatives.

    “The enigmatic Schacke defies categorization.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
The enigmatic Schacke defies categorization. Half Danish, half South Korean, they have been crafting music since their early teens, traversing genres and instruments with fearless curiosity. Starting with drums and emerging from roots in Metal, Noise, and Industrial, Schacke’s journey has been one of constant evolution, building a sonic universe that feels both deeply personal and boundlessly exploratory. After moving to Copenhagen in 2013, Schacke quickly became a central figure in the city’s underground music scene. They co-ran the Mayhem venue, a hub for experimental sounds and radical ideas, while also founding a DIY label for noise and industrial music. In 2015, Schacke joined the founding ranks of the Fast Forward collective, born out of a desire to create space for a new wave of young artists who were often overlooked by the city’s established techno scene. What began as a series of self-organized parties quickly grew into a movement that redefined Copenhagen nightlife, championing inclusivity, high-energy music, and a DIY ethos. The collective’s fresh approach and innovative sound became the foundation of what is now known as the “Copenhagen Techno Sound”, a bold and uncompromising take on electronic music that challenged the conventions of its time. Schacke’s discography spans a range of acclaimed releases on influential labels such as Kulør, ONES and ZEROS, Mama Told Ya, KAOS, Instruments of Discipline, and Intrepid Skin. In 2022, Schacke launched Sacred Interface, a label dedicated to pushing the boundaries of techno and trance while supporting their local friends and peers. Beyond the studio, they are a resident DJ, event organizer, podcast runner for the iconic queer sex parties of Bedside Productions, a space where their ethos of inclusivity and boundary-pushing expression thrives. In 2024, they also became resident DJ for the Korgy Party in Helsinki. Schacke’s artistic philosophy is rooted in contrast and duality. Their music, at once hard-hitting and tender, accessible and avant-garde, reflects an intricate balance of light and shadow, embracing both the delicate and the dark. Drawing inspiration from an eclectic range of genres, they use techno as a framework to create genre-defying fusions, weaving together hypnotic rhythms, euphoric melodies, and evocative textures. This ever-evolving soundscape ensures that Schacke’s work remains distinctly recognizable yet tantalizingly unpredictable. On the dancefloor, Schacke channels the raver they once were: taking mental notes at every party, translating those fleeting moments of euphoria and connection into their studio work. This intimate relationship with nightlife fuels their creativity, ensuring their music resonates deeply with listeners. A true artist in every sense, Schacke invites you where mystery challenges expectations, fluidity disrupts norms, and self-expression reigns without boundaries.

  • SPFDJ

    Sweden · 4 bookings since May 2024

“There are DJs, and then there's SPFDJ.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
There are DJs, and then there's SPFDJ. With an inimitable style, fearless attitude, magnetic energy, and a smooth dichotomy between the badass and softer sides to her artistry, aka "Tendercore", the Amsterdam-based artist has evolved from the grassroots scenes of London and Berlin to a globally established talent and trailblazer over the past decade. 2025 marks the debut of SPFDJ's EP Heel Thyself via her label Intrepid Skin. Dropping in November, the release nods to overcoming challenges in the creative process, including overthinking, while healing herself along the way. As well as motivating women and queers to "boot up for battle" against increasingly oppressive structures, the EP taps into the more vulnerable side of her identity through five bold club-ready tracks. This year, SPFDJ also launched her own worldwide event series, Motherlode. Curating lineups on her own terms, it's another reflection of her no-frills spirit; one that has prevailed throughout her astonishing trajectory and ripples across every endeavour under her name. Having initially honed her sound in the harsher shades of techno, the Swedish producer, DJ and founder of the label Intrepid Skin has since showcased her ability to neatly blend, layer and flare the sonically impenetrable. These days, SPFDJ laces her sets with several genres: percussively rich Latincore, jackin' hardgroove, UK hard house, sawtooth-shaped trance and many more trips and textures have snaked their way into her unruly sets. Operating on a genre-fluid scale, SPFDJ's musical taste continually mutates, refusing to stay static. Unafraid to dig into totally unexpected and abandoned territories, this exploratory and curious nature seeps into her nuanced sets, resulting in total engagement and connection with her crowd from the first beat. In 2018, Herrensauna inducted SPFDJ into their crew of residents, each of whom has empowered and transformed Berlin's queer scene every month in clubs like Tresor and RSO. In the same year, Boiler Room captured a now-iconic SPFDJ set at Herrensauna, which catapulted her profile and remains a source of timeless, sweat-soaked hedonism. The party is SPFDJ's "forever love" and continually grants her the freedom to explore disparate musical moods in a fertile and (not quite) fucks-free environment. Shortly after her first Boiler Room beamed worldwide, SPFDJ launched her label Intrepid Skin, where her Mother Goose qualities emerge from the ether, and her knack for curation and A&R comes to light. An incubator for fearless expression in all its forms, Intrepid Skin is a platform to nurture rising producers. The imprint supports artists at pivotal points of their careers, tracing back to talents like VTSS, Nene H, and Marcus L to more recent records by exciting artists like MarcelDune and Valerie Ace. Multiple Intrepid Skin showcases, like a collaboration with Boiler Room and a club night in FOLD, have allowed DJs from all backgrounds to play in renowned spaces. As the brainchild of SPFDJ, the imprint seeks originality, authenticity and personality rather than a signature sound that represents the label. Radio is another platform where SPFDJ flexes her curatorial talents. Her residency on NTS has seen her lift new names, showcasing their work to the headsy masses, in addition to a previous long-running residency on Rinse FM. Elsewhere, an Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 and podcasts for Bassiani, Dekmantel, and CRACK are just some milestone mixes that have contributed to her formidable reputation as a DJ who is always two steps ahead of the curve. SPFDJ's gig schedule has seen her appear regularly as a headliner of international shows, from the queer party Fiesta Dame in Santiago to the shadowy enclaves of FAUST in Seoul. Her festival diary includes a myriad of overground and underground gatherings, including Glastonbury, Dekmantel, Pitch Festival, and Primavera Sound, affirming her universal appeal to fresh-blooded and veteran ravers alike. In a scene of DJs and producers determined to take their stand, precious few can match the impact of SPFDJ.

    the whole biography
His debut EP is regarded by many as seminal, launching his career along with several early Downwards releases, causing a ripple of excitement through the techno cognoscenti of the time. Surgeon has been prolific since, with three albums on Tresor and numerous Counterbalance and Dynamic Tension EPs as well as his 'Breaking The Frame’, ‘From Farthest Known Objects’ and ‘Luminosity Device’ LPs “Over the course of his career, the Birmingham resident has perfected a unique and uncommonly effective production style. His is a tough techno sound with an industrial murk about it but also plenty of funk, swing and a sophisticated sense of dub-space learned in part from his Chain Reaction contemporaries in Berlin. Proving that hard can also be smart, sensuous and danceable, the influence of Surgeon on the 2010-ruling Ostgut/Berghain sound – DJs/producers like Marcel Dettmann, Shed et al – is substantial”. (Fact Magazine) Further evidence of these multi-functional production skills can be seen on Surgeon's impressive remix CV, working with the biggest names in techno (Dave Clarke, Luke Slater/PAS, Green Velvet, Hardfloor, the Black Dog etc), Thom Yorke (Radiohead), Glasgow post-rock outfit Mogwai, old masters Faust and Coil, as well as artists such Moderat, Shed, Traversable Wormhole and Scuba. Over the years Surgeon has shown his versatility as a musician with releases under his own name on FatCat, NNA Tapes and Editions Mego which break all the usual boundaries of electronic dance music. Recently dubbed by Fact magazine as “arguably the finest techno DJ in the world”, Surgeon is also naturally one of the most in-demand, with DJ mixes for Warp and Fabric and a schedule spread across Europe and Japan. He has played every key club/event/festival going; helped pioneer Birmingham’s House of God; and, held a 3 year residency at Tresor (Berlin) during its all powerful 1990s peak. He is also one half of the much loved BMB (British Murder Boys) with Regis as well as performing improvised live sets solo and with Lady Starlight, with Speedy J as ‘Multiples’ and alongside Daniel Bean as ‘The Transcendence Orchestra’ Contemporary Surgeon sets are notable for experimentation with new DJ technologies embracing cutting edge hardware and software solutions, increasingly blurring the line between a DJ set and a live performance. Surgeon is a selector of some skill and one of the most inventive, intuitive DJs out there. Using techno as a vehicle to carry his artistic message, he also mixes up everything from contemporary bass music/dubstep to Rephlex-esque electronica to create a coherent, intense and righteously banging whole. More recently live improvisation has become a more important part of all of his performances.

    the whole biography
Nita is a noted member of the legendary House of Aviance. She started DJing around the turn of the millennium and was a resident at the infamous Mr. Black and Westgay, both touchstones for queer artistry and culture in downtown nightlife of the early 2000's. Will has deep roots in NYC club culture, having worked at The Loft and collaborated closely with David Mancuso, holding residencies at many of the downtown New York clubs over the years including The Limelight, Life and Vandam. After dividing his time between NYC and Paris, working on music with fashion houses such as Issey Miyake, Vivienne Westwood and Yves Saint Laurent, Will returned to DJing dance floors when he co-created SPANK with partners Sean B & Jason Roe. What started as a basement dance party evolved into a roving art-based warehouse party along with a namesake zine. SPANK began to work closely with Horse Meat Disco and the close relationship with that crew has extended in various forms through the years into the present. Currently, Nita and Will perform globally as both individual DJs and, more often, as a duo --they are most recognized for epic extended B2B sets and their wildly successful monthly queer party (also known as The Carry Nation) at Brooklyn's Good Room. Their range is wide and exciting, and in the New York tradition they effortlessly flow through genres and time periods while keeping a modern edge. Since the inception of The Carry Nation, the duo has toured the world extensively including Glastonbury’s Block 9 and Berlin’s Berghain/Panorama Bar among many others. They also have a residency at Ladyfag's flagship monthly Battle Hymn. As producers, their credits include releases and remixes on Get Up Recordings, Classic Music Company, TRIBAL, Nervous, TRAX, Batty Bass, TWIRL, W&O Street Tracks and more. Their latest venture is Major Records, an imprint they co-founded with Justin Cudmore to showcase their Majorettes collaboration with releases that are setting dancefloors alight with a fresh but classic house vibe that stays rooted in the excitement of New York’s history and underground.

Volvox is a global leader in the movement for representation of female, queer, trans and nonbinary identities in the techno industry. A dominant figure of New York’s techno renaissance, across the globe the name DJ Volvox has become synonymous with surgical mixing technique and a certain square-shooting, take-no-prisoner approach towards dance floor business. Her parties are the stuff of legend, and her authenticity as a global cultural figure is undeniable. As a member of Discwoman, the all-female DJ crew that transformed electronic music culture over the last decade, she broke ground for more women to rise in the global DJ ranks and inspired countless more to begin in the craft. Having circled the globe more times than she can count, Volvox has turned her sights back on nurturing electronic music culture in her home, the United States. Ariana is now spearheading the construction of a space of inclusivity under the umbrella of a FLINTA-driven event series, simply named FLINTA NYC. Her music-driven program seeks to reinvigorate the techno scene by reviving context and nuance and blending scenes to push Brooklyn nightlife into the next chapter. Ariana is known for tough, stripped-back techno and groovy hypnotic sets that seduce the listener into a maelstrom of emotion. She has been a busy DJ and event producer since 2006 and in that time has shared the decks with many international stars including DVS1, Marcel Dettmann, Ellen Allien, The Hacker, Legowelt and Mike Servito. Raised in Buffalo, New York, her early experiences in the industrial and rave scenes of rust-belt America shaped her outlook on dance culture. An ardent supporter of the underground, she was a key figure in developing the electronic music scene in Boston, Massachusetts from 2007-2010. Breaking out internationally in 2015 she has enjoyed a busy tour schedule including noted appearances at Dekmantel and the ascendant Sustain-Release festival in upstate New York. Since then she tours extensively across Europe and makes regular appearances at Berghain/Panorama Bar in Berlin. She also tours South America and Asia yearly. Ariana is a unique character on the US scene guaranteed to bring a high energy show that lights up dance floors with an undeniable spirit.

After intentionally spending years on the fringes of experimental dance music, 2015 saw Lee embracing the conventional release format for the very first time, accordingly establishing himself as a formidable emergent voice in dance music’s larger conversation. The resulting Snipestreet EP on Rabit’s Halcyon Veil label notably found the artist exercising a newfound mastery over original productions, in lieu of his usual, unruly approach to bootlegs and edits. Upon release it garnered widespread critical acclaim, with tracks and videos from it being premiered on DIS Magazine, a full-length interview appearing on The FADER, and Heroin Hat making it to FACT Magazine’s best club tracks of the year list. Since his debut, he's also collaborated with the likes of Rabit, Chino Amobi and Lexxi as well as released music on his own label Yegorka. Lee’s sound both on record and behind the CD-Rs defies easy compartmentalization: if anything, it is defined by its visceral uncategorizability. He’s as likely to draw on ballroom and rap as instrumental grime, but it’s Lee’s radically singular approach to putting it all together that makes him so exciting. Even if the ingredients are familiar, the end product never is: his hectic, cathartic, and uncompromising style of club music ultimately stands completely in its own lane.
