the whole biography
Neves is the head of BASE SEVEN, a label, event, and creative operation focused on techno, futurism, and expressionism, operating within the abstract. Heavily inspired by early Detroit techno, Neves delivers hypnotic, tension-driven DJ sets built on stripped-down mechanical rhythms, honoring the past while pushing the sound forward. He is also the music director and composer for the Willy Chavarria runway shows in both New York and Paris. Neves has shared lineups with some of techno’s most respected figures, including Marcel Dettmann, Robert Hood, Joey Beltram, Mike Parker, DJ Shufflemaster, and more. www.base-seven.comTheir RA profile lists BASE SEVEN.Recently at Bossa Nova Civic Club, BASEMENT, Jupiter Disco · often with Diossa, Junkfile, jay york, none of them here that night
