Best known for his Level parties, Andrew Devlin has been booking some of the city's best house, techno, and hip-hop DJs for almost 10 years. His DJ sets reflect the party's vibe--equally focused on the party people and the record heads, serving up cutting-edge music with no pretense. A typical Devlin DJ set can span NY deep house, psychedelic minimal, UK bass music, and an odd Drake track. Many DJs claim to have range, but few blend Call Super and Barry White at peak time.Recently at Nowadays, 99 Scott Ave, Mansions · often with Union, Suasimodo, Shameless Deejay, none of them here that night

SPF 50’s music weaves a kaleidoscopic tapestry of lush atmospherics, precise, percussive momentum and skittish euphoria. With a keen sense for narration, his music draws on deeper strains of techno, at times veering into syncopated bass pressure, to sculpt a hypnotic sonic world to immerse oneself in. His live set delves into deep psychedelia, creating raw moments on the dancefloor while never losing sight of the playful and blissed out. Originally from Sweden but living in Brooklyn, he is a resident of underground party Bob & Shirley. His EP ‘Ett Inre Rum’ comes out on Bliss Point in September 2026 and takes further aim on the eyes-closed inward journey, fueled by hypnotic repetition and an ear for spatial, textured sound design.Techno on 5, Acid on 4, House on 4 and Deep House on 3. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Bliss Point (1), Dzungla (1) and Fixed Rhythms (1); their RA profile also lists Acacia Baila. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Good Room, public records, Nowadays · often with Albert_, Fernelly, G-Style, none of them here that night

“Expect to hear everything present in the consciousness of DJ Voices during one of her performances.”

Expect to hear everything present in the consciousness of DJ Voices during one of her performances. For the past decade, the Brooklyn-based DJ has been cutting a deeper path through the party, a committed distributor of new sound and undefined genres. “Crazy music” you could call it. (She does.) In a time of homogenized cultural zones and drip-fed algorithmic taste, DJ Voices is an artist specializing in something deep(er). Her sets—free-range, roving, topographic and ecstatic— are free of the usual moderating impulses. They aren’t necessarily built to offer shelter or reassurances. But more of a story: The one about our cracked future-present and its radiating potential. It’s a story that DJ Voices (real name: Kristin Malossi) has been steadily exploring through her work, currently as a resident at The Lot Radio and formerly as a resident at Nowadays, where she also worked as a booker for seven years. Her presence in the Brooklyn electronic community has expanded its contours towards curiosity and exploration and pleasure, but also unafraid of challenge. Take one example: she may be the only DJ with an active book club, “Late Nites Book Club.” The regular reading group hosted by Malossi takes up writing across genre and topic, such as aesthetics, death, rave culture, and sonics. Fitting, given that the Florida-born DJ has become an outspoken voice on contemporary club culture, candidly articulating the variety of sensations and techniques of the dance floor experience. For Voices, club spaces can also serve as cites of discovery and experimentation; “the dance floor is my classroom” you might often hear her say. And it’s best to keep that in mind as you head into a Voices set, as class will most certainly be in session.Electro on 2, Breaks on 2, Power Electronics on 1 and Acid House on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesRecently at Nowadays, The End, Sugar Hill Disco · often with DJ Plead, Sister Zo, L&D, none of them here that night

"It's D's World, we're just living in it" - Guy reading my iPhone notes on the M Train Longtime dancefloor staple Dan Creahan has been a quiet but vital energy in New York's thriving late-night scene, promoting and running door as energetically as he throws down on the floor. As a producer, he's often sought to explore the range around the center of the floor, working behind a number of pen names that have settled in recent years around around Alien D, a coy reworking of his first name, and the most direct outlet for his productions. Having previously released tapes with Mind Dynamics, a driving, frenetic project that pushed noise sensibilities and an improv-first focus on dance music stylings, Creahan worked through a range of concepts and monikers before releasing his first record as Alien D in 2018. Building sonic worlds around shared concepts and studio workflows, he rarely sits in one place for too long, exploring ever-shifting sonic palettes that have branched out from his initial formula of loose break tracks, tinged with elements of house and dub and into a range of sources, from spaced-out B12 tributes to tracks nodding towards the heyday of West Coast rave and downtempo. Bringing the same energy he's honed as a label head and promoter to his studio practice, the horizon looks bright for this Alien, gleaming out into the depths of space, where new worlds await <3House on 9, Techno on 9, Downtempo on 6 and Experimental on 4. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Kulture Galerie (2), Honey Trap (1) and Theory Therapy (1); their RA profile also lists Sweat Equity NYC and Twin System. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at The End, Nowadays, Le Bain · often with Loidis, adobeprincess, Hank Jackson, none of them here that night
