Hi, I'm a NYC-based DJ originally haling from Texas that focuses on 160 BPM articulate & percussive music. My goal in DJ-ing is to provide: 1. what is missing in the community I am a part of 2. something a crowd didn't not expect they wanted to hear 3. an interesting & unique artistic experience, and 4. something that makes people move their body in novel ways To achieve the above stated goals I use everything I listen to on and off the dance floor. Yelzin, Arca, DJ Sliink, Eve, MM, Fever Ray, lain__d, Kode 9, Christian Coiffure, GFOTY, Chynna, c0ncern, Tensal, Four Tet. You get the idea. I work with long blends of tracks sharing beat patterns with each-other like a body full of viruses, like a block of dirt filled with rhizomes. Sips of DNA passed back and forth, picking up momentum, heat, & more DNA on every swap. Collage is everything to me, and in music I think it's the best way to say what you wanna say. Through all of this, I play Club Music, so the one requirement is that you can move to it.Recently at Mood Ring, Jade · often with Elly DJ, Janus Rose, Connor Wrong, none of them here that night
