DONIS is a Dominican American DJ/Producer from Brooklyn, NY. His style embodies both tradition and innovation. Firmly rooted in NYC’s Dance Music history while tastefully pushing the envelope, he masterfully explores the intersections between Soulful House, Afro House, Techno and Disco. In the DJ booth, he combines excellent mixing skills with an innate ability to read the crowd, both responding to their desires while setting his sonic agenda. He’s become well known in the New York underground scene for playing parties and clubs such as Soul In The Horn, Papi Juice, Dweller Festival, Lebain, Basement among many others. He has most recently self released their second EP Metamorphosis02 and currently holds residencies at renowned club Nowadays, and The Lot Radio.Their RA profile lists Toucan Sounds.Recently at Jupiter Disco, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Gabriela · often with Bendito, Jeremy Giros, JADALAREIGN, none of them here that night

jaql is a stalwart member of the bubbling jungle scene in NYC. Through a common thread of break beats, texture seeking and wobbly basslines she is keen on world building via her sets. She runs a party series titled ‘Jaywalking’ which grew out of a deep yearning to hear more jungle on local dance floors. Beyond platforming local and name brand jungle DJs, Jaywalking also looks to foster the sound in new ways, inviting people who don't normally play jungle to interpret the sound. She is a member of 123, a collective and DIY venue based in Brooklyn hosting a wide range of events from weeknight socials to full blown raves featuring 123’s well-loved basement soundsystem.
