the whole biography
Peter Invasion, DJ and producer from Leipzig, is a key figure in East Germany’s electronic music scene. In 2006, he founded Riotvan, which grew from a raw, underground party series into a respected label in 2012, shaped together with his partner Panthera Krause. What started as a simple idea grew into a force, challenging norms and disrupting the status quo. Splitting his time between Berlin, his second home Mexico City, and Leipzig, Peter also left his mark as a former booker at Leipzig’s iconic club Institut fuer Zukunft and Distillery. Since 2019, he and Gregor Habicht have formed a prolific producer duo and live act, with more than 18 releases on labels like Correspondant, Live At Robert Johnson, Aeon, Roam Recordings, Phisica, and their own Riotvan. Their remixes for artists like Damon Jee, Benjamin Froehlich,Cabizbajo, Theus Mago & Moderna and Badwolf have earned wide recognition — with "Dame Mas" even hitting #1 in Beatport’s Pick of the Month. In addition to their solo work, Peter also teamed up with his former band Here Is Why to collaborate with Adam Port on the EP "Our Fate“, released on Keinemusik — a testament to his creative versatility. Peter’s DJ career has taken him to Panorama Bar / Berghain, Robert Johnson, Pikes Ibiza, Shelter, Good Room, Bar Americas, Kaputt Club, EDC Mexico, Printworks London, Burning Man’s Mayan Warrior, and Garbicz Festival, to clubs and festivals around the globe — from Bali to New York, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Hawaii, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Madrid, Bogotá, Stockholm, Ibiza, Mexico City, and beyond. His mixes appear on platforms like Keinemusik, Mayan Warrior, Permanent Vacation, HÖR, LOT Radio, Public Possession, Ibiza Sonica Radio, Arte Concert and Beatport. He's a regular fixture at Rebolledo's "Rated R" parties and a sought-after DJ at Topaz Deluxe Monterrey. In the ever-changing electronic music scene Peter Invasion modestly contributes as a beacon of innovation and passion. His journey unfolds with an abundance of creativity, adding a touch of refreshing lightness to the musical landscape.Their RA profile lists Live At Robert Johnson, Correspondant, Riotvan, Roam Recordings and 5 more.often with ACID BOGEN, HOPPER, Zahara, none of them here that night

Sprinkling her sets with everything from cheesy pop bangers to darkwave synth and acid house, Tony y Not’s razor-sharp yet free-spirited DJing empowers crowds to let loose and not take themselves too seriously. Combining discerning taste with a fun stage presence, the Zurich-born, New York based artist has graced the decks at world-leading clubs and events such as fabric, Watergate, teksupport, Stranger Than, Zamna, Public Records and Brooklyn Mirage, at festivals including Piknic Electronik Montreal, Fusion, Elements and Love Machine, and has released on some of the finest labels in electronic music (Kompakt, Nervous Records, Live At Robert Johnson, fabric records, Me Me Me and Ombra International). Her DJing style is open-minded and open-hearted, perhaps cycling through brooding cosmic disco, candied tech-trance, murky acid techno and ravey piano house, or blending bright techy acid with groovy vocal-led cuts and heart-opening indie. Drawing from the 1980s to the present day, she fluidly shifts between light and dark moods and delights in a sense of playfulness not always embraced by more serious-minded peers. The tracks she makes are similarly colourful and complex, often featuring a mid-tempo BPM, long builds and a celestial quality. They’re perfect at 2am in sweaty, laser-strewn nightclubs but work equally well at forest raves or under the open skies, dancing in the dust. As she continues to release on ever-impressive labels, Tony y Not has been collecting the gigs to match and has found herself supporting some of her biggest heroes. Tiga, Solomun, Michael Bibi, Jennifer Cardini, DJ Tennis, Dixon, LP Giobbi, Chaos in the CBD, Ben UFO and DJ Seinfeld are just some of the artists she’s shared bills with, testament to the respect she’s won from fans and peers alike and her ability to rock any party she’s booked at. Beyond the music, Tony y Not is determined to be a force for good in the scene. Supporting other women and female-identifying talent in the industry is a cause she’s passionate about, as is the emotional and psychological well-being of artists. In 2022, she launched the Safe Spaces Series on Spotify, interviewing fellow DJs and producers about mental health in the music industry. As her DJing and productions continue to communicate what words cannot, moving bodies and capturing hearts around the globe, Tony y Not is staying true to her mission: to spread joy and uplift others, both on and off the dance floor.Their RA profile lists Crosstown Rebels, Kompakt, Nervous Records, Live At Robert Johnson and 5 more.Recently at Artsdistrict Brooklyn, House of Yes · often with Jimi Jules, Acid Alien, Eve Lauren, none of them here that night

Bio Few DJs could adequately represent the last three decades of New York nightclub history - no less do so with such iconic credentials as Justin Strauss. Since he was 17, when his first band was signed to Island Records, Justin has had a career that reads like a Who’s-Who of the music scene, spinning at nearly every dance club that you’d ever want to go to. Starting as DJ at New York’s legendary Mudd Club, he spun his way through The Ritz, Limelight, Area, Tunnel, M.K., Life, Centro Fly and more, pioneering his own distinctive sound, and becoming one of the most sought-after remixers and producers not just in New York, but in the world. He has worked with the gamut of artists - Depeche Mode, Sergio Mendez, Tina Turner, Jimmy Cliff, B-52s, Luther Vandross, Malcolm McClaren, Skinny Puppy, Goldfrapp, to name a few (see full list) – and on over 200 records! Much of the new dance crowd that goes to hear Justin DJ today, whether at subMercer, The Standard, Highbar, Soho House, or Love, doesn’t necessarily know his history; they simply love his spinning because he always keeps them dancing and surprised, seamlessly mixing between choice classics, delectable rarities and innovative beats. For Justin, no genre or style is off-limits – he can and will mix anything, so long as he can keep the crowd enthralled. His self-proclaimed mission is “connecting the dots” between what might otherwise seem disparate musical periods and styles, while introducing exciting new sounds. He does so with infectious passion, subverting preconceptions about what’s old and new, and inspiring young DJs with his masterful skill and ever-youthful spirit. But Justin Strauss doesn’t stop there. As half of the production duo, Whatever/Whatever, he continues to produce and mix records, working on remixes for the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Beyonce, La Roux and more. In fact, he doesn’t stop at all. Like the amazing city he’s dedicatedly kept dancing since 1980, Justin just keeps going. Coming Soon. a/jus/ted . lovetempo is the brainchild of Mattie Safer, known for his work as the singer and bassist of Poolside and The Rapture. Since its inception, Safer has fused saudade sentimentality and jazz-funk excursions with modern dancefloor sensibilities. Through body, soul, and basslines, lovetempo explores the triumphs and travails of the heart. “lovetempo is in many ways the perfect musical project for me,” says Safer. “It gives me an avenue to explore the soul, disco, and house music that makes up my list of desert island delights, and the mental space to work through the loneliness, longing, and sublime sweetness of modern romance with my lyrics.” lovetempo’s most recent EP is Live Or Die By Love, released in February 2025 on toucan sounds. The four-track release includes three original songs—the 90s house-influenced anthem "Live Or Die By Love", and two smooth disco cuts, "We Can Make It Happen" and "Part-Time Love Affair"—plus a remix of the title track by house music legend (and longtime Frankie Knuckles collaborator) Eric Kupper. The title track premiered on Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM radio program and was featured on Laurent Garnier’s [DEEP]search FIP radio show. Tracks from the EP have appeared on Spotify’s ‘Metropolis’ and ‘Jazz House’ playlists and were added to rotation at KCRW, KEXP, and Jazz FM, among others. “Maybe In Another Life”, released in November 2024, is lovetempo’s most impactful single to date—a slow-burning disco groove driven by soaring strings, heartache, and undeniable rhythm. The track received widespread airplay on BBC 6Music, KCRW, and Jazz FM, earned placements on Spotify’s ‘Pollen’ and ‘Fresh Finds’ playlists, and was championed by Gilles Peterson across both BBC and Worldwide FM. A remix by Bosq brought the tune deeper into global dancefloor territory. In April 2025, lovetempo released the But I Do (Extended) EP on Razor-N-Tape, expanding the original single (a collaboration with Dougie Stu of Brijean) with DJ-focused remixes from Crackazat, Daisybelle, and From House To Disco. The extended package further cemented Safer’s place in the international underground dance scene. In May, Safer collaborated with UK producer Sasha GiGi on the single “All My Life.” The track has been featured on Spotify’s ‘Pollen,’ ‘Metropolis,’ ‘All New Dance,’ and ‘UK House Music’ playlists, and received airplay on BBC Radio 1. lovetempo’s journey began with a self-titled 2023 debut EP on Razor-N-Tape, which garnered critical acclaim and extensive radio support from KCRW and Worldwide FM. That release led to a U.S. tour with 79.5 and headlining shows in New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Austin. Recent live highlights include a performance for WFUV and Co-Sign as part of New York Music Month. As a DJ, Safer has played recent sets in NYC, LA, San Francisco, Hawaii, and Mexico. He also contributed a DJ mix to Razor-N-Tape’s Apple Music DJ series.
