After an extensive period of research: collecting sounds, studying the DJ's craft, and contributing to the scene, BOBBY. has distilled his discoveries into a sound and style entirely his own. His sets are journeys — intimate, personal and unpredictable. Traversing styles and eras, he brings audiences into his world, revealing the emotions and energies with every selection. Since 2019, a residency at London’s legendary Fabric has been central to his growth - building a foundation at home alongside a global touring schedule. His central involvement in Houghton Festival has further cemented his reputation as an ambassador for two of the UK’s most influential institutions. Through his label and soiree Pleasure Club, founded in 2017, BOBBY. has built a loyal worldwide community. With international events and over twenty releases, Pleasure Club has established itself as a platform for forward-thinking-yet-timeless house, techno and electro. He's also released a string of solo productions and remixes on Cabaret Recordings, 2020 Vision, and Fabric Records; sharing his surrealist take on electronic music with an ever-growing audience. Never following trends and forever on his own path, the dance floor experience is always unique with BOBBY.Their RA profile lists Trouble Maker, Needs (not-for-profit), Pleasure Club and Seven Hills Records.often with Giammarco Orsini, PARAMIDA, Jack Mulqueen, none of them here that night

One of dance music’s most unique and standout artists, Kate Simko shines through with her modern Chicago-influenced sound. Kate was welcomed into the dance music scene via the iconic Spectral Sound label alongside Matthew Dear, Ryan Elliot, Seth Troxler, Lee Curtiss, and Benoit & Sergio. Since then her catalogue has grown to include releases on Get Physical, Hello?Repeat, The Vinyl Factory, Leftroom, No.19, Sasha’s Last Night On Earth imprint, and Jamie Jones’ Emerald City. A classically trained musician with Chicago roots, her diverse musical background emanates throughout. Whether remixing Philip Glass to Guy Gerber, touring an interactive audio-visual live set, forming her own electronic-classical ensemble, scoring a feature film, or launching an electronic-hybrid show for 70-piece orchestra with Jamie Jones, Kate pushes the boundaries of dance music. Named one of Chicago’s “Top 10 DJs” by XLR8R Magazine, Kate has performed at some of the world’s leading locations such as Berghain, Panorama Bar, Warung, fabric, the Montreal Jazz Festival, Movement Festival, MUTEK, Eleven in Tokyo and Fuse in Brussels. Kate began DJing on WNUR radio in Chicago in the early 2000’s and has collected vinyl since the late 90’s. Her main influences as a DJ are Chicago and Detroit heritage, mixed with other raw, jackin’ and cutting tracks from across the globe. Now London-based, Kate launched her live band London Electronic Orchestra, featuring harp, strings, and Kate on keys. The group has made waves worldwide, including festivals like Latitude, Bestival, Festival No 6, and Wonderfruit in Thailand, and at shows in Ibiza, New York, Chicago, and beyond. Highly rated UK label The Vinyl Factory released the debut ‘Kate Simko & London Electronic Orchestra’ album to critical acclaim. Melodic, driving, jacking and funky, Kate’s distinctive sound continues to inspire dance floors across the globe.Their RA profile lists Get Physical Music, Spectral Sound, Traum Schallplatten, Ghostly International and 6 more.often with Ksenyeah, Avision, Simon Heyliger, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Raised between Istanbul and New York City, Omer Bil, better known as O.BEE, has cultivated a musical palette that encompasses the two culture hubs and everything in between. Known for dancing in between different genres and styles, juggling the traditional and the avant-garde, O.BEE weaves together unknown yet familiar sonic landscapes, in a signature style that reflects his own musical identity; optimistic yet rebellious and filled by passion. Liberating the dance floor from the accustomed rules and stepping away from functional expectations, he instead cultivates musical trips for both the dancer and the listener, communicating with the north and south of the body, fueled with intellectual and sensual energy. During his formative years in New York City, O.BEE embarked on a multifaceted journey, characterized by both scholarly pursuits and immersive experiences on the dance floor. His academic path led him to study Contemporary Music at the prestigious New School in Manhattan, where he found himself among the finest jazz talents of his generation. Simultaneously, he delved into the vibrant nightlife scene as a resident DJ and avid participant at the renowned New York party series, ReSolute, where he honed his craft and deepened his connection to the dynamic energy within the city’s underground culture. In 2020 he launched Jigit, a collective and record label alongside Tomas Station and Asli Tunaman, serving as a platform for their creative output, encompassing original productions and selections from their inner circle. This multifaceted venture, comprising a record label, event series, and lifestyle brand, has garnered a devoted global following, thanks to its distinct artistic ethos. Apart from his heavy touring schedule to new destinations, O.BEE holds regular residencies in renowned institutions Fabric, London and Club der Visionaere, Berlin as well as infamous Ibiza club DC-10 where he and Tomas Station are residents of the formidable Circoloco Mondays. Across the pond in Brooklyn's H0l0, O.BEE has established an “All Night Long” series where he can cast his spell to listeners in mind bending open to close sets that have run up to 16 hours. Also present on the larger stages of dance music, recent years have seen him perform in trendsetting festivals such as Houghton, Waking Life, Kappa Futur, Sunwaves and more. A seeker of sonic truth, O.BEE remains committed to the relentless pursuit of artistic evolution, drawing inspiration from the symphony of life itself to create music that resonates deep within the soul to heal and be healed.House on 4, Deep House on 4, Tech House on 3 and Minimal on 2. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Jigit (2) (1), Slacker 85 (1) and Understory (1); their RA profile also lists Sleep is Commercial, Moody Recordings and ALINE Brooklyn. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileLast at H0L0 in Feb · often with Tomas Station, Maksim, Sibil, none of them here that night

“Bio Few DJs could adequately represent the last three decades of New York nightclub history - no less do so with such iconic credentials as Justin Strauss.”

Bio Few DJs could adequately represent the last three decades of New York nightclub history - no less do so with such iconic credentials as Justin Strauss. Since he was 17, when his first band was signed to Island Records, Justin has had a career that reads like a Who’s-Who of the music scene, spinning at nearly every dance club that you’d ever want to go to. Starting as DJ at New York’s legendary Mudd Club, he spun his way through The Ritz, Limelight, Area, Tunnel, M.K., Life, Centro Fly and more, pioneering his own distinctive sound, and becoming one of the most sought-after remixers and producers not just in New York, but in the world. He has worked with the gamut of artists - Depeche Mode, Sergio Mendez, Tina Turner, Jimmy Cliff, B-52s, Luther Vandross, Malcolm McClaren, Skinny Puppy, Goldfrapp, to name a few (see full list) – and on over 200 records! Much of the new dance crowd that goes to hear Justin DJ today, whether at subMercer, The Standard, Highbar, Soho House, or Love, doesn’t necessarily know his history; they simply love his spinning because he always keeps them dancing and surprised, seamlessly mixing between choice classics, delectable rarities and innovative beats. For Justin, no genre or style is off-limits – he can and will mix anything, so long as he can keep the crowd enthralled. His self-proclaimed mission is “connecting the dots” between what might otherwise seem disparate musical periods and styles, while introducing exciting new sounds. He does so with infectious passion, subverting preconceptions about what’s old and new, and inspiring young DJs with his masterful skill and ever-youthful spirit. But Justin Strauss doesn’t stop there. As half of the production duo, Whatever/Whatever, he continues to produce and mix records, working on remixes for the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Beyonce, La Roux and more. In fact, he doesn’t stop at all. Like the amazing city he’s dedicatedly kept dancing since 1980, Justin just keeps going. Coming Soon. a/jus/ted .
