Asha Jasz, a Polish-born vinyl enthusiast now based in Brooklyn, NY, has been passionate about music from a young age. A dedicated digger with an ever-growing collection of records, her infectious smile and vibrant energy light up dance floors wherever she plays. Asha’s sets take listeners on a journey through sound, influenced by the European music scene she grew up with, and seamlessly blended with newly discovered vinyl treasures from record shops around the globe. Her selections span underground house, techno, electro, minimal, and timeless classics, creating a sonic journey that bridges the past, present, and future. Asha also has a deep love for ambient and downtempo records, which she occasionally weaves into her performances for a unique touch. Jay Prouty (Brooklyn Sway, Praxis, Dojo Sessions, Cenote Records, NYC) Frankie Knuckles once said: “The minute you think you’re greater than the music you’re finished”. Most of us are still trying to identify the description of the term underground in today’s diversified world of electronic music, but Jay has mastered the description. His dj sets are a constant reminder that music is greater than us. Jay is a house music dj, producer, and vinyl connoisseur with over 20 years of experience, currently living in Brooklyn, NYC. He relocated to the Big Apple from Boston where he played an integral role in the development of the house music scene by exposing the city to new and up-coming artists: including first appearances by Booka Shade, Peace Division, Seth Troxler, Dyed Soundorom, and many more. As a dj, Jay held residencies at some of Boston’s most prominent clubs inducing Avalon and Rise Afterhours. Currently Jay is a regularly in the NYC and Washington DC club scenes with previous appearances at Output and regular appearances at TBA Brooklyn and Flash in DC, where he hosts a monthly event titled “Brooklyn Sway”, which showcases local Brooklyn underground heads. His all vinyl dj sets are a journey through the history of house music, weaving in the old with the new, with a focus on hypnotic rhythms and old skool acapellas. Derek Russo is a Brooklyn, NY based deejay, producer, promoter & educator. Russo has come to possess a unique sound culled from years of digging and DJing a variety of gigs. Bred in Washington, D.C. he spent 14 years in Colorado and was an integral component of the small but rock solid underground scene there. He’s now based in thriving Brooklyn, NY. His DJ sets can run across the board, and is adept at delivering high energy sets of Boogie, Funk, Balearic and Disco, next to deeper narratives combining House & Techno with leftfield excursions into more complex rhythms that blur those lines, finding the unique thread amongst it all, and always combining older gems with newer music. In 2020 he founded his label, Broad Channel, as an outlet to release his productions and push the sound further. Additional releases since 2019 have come out on Make Mistakes and Paul Fleetwood’s Perimeter Junk label. There’s also his Luvfreak alias for re-edits and sample heavy tracks. After recently wrapping a 5 year long, monthly radio show on Internet Public Radio (internetpublicradio.live) called “Morning Fever”, he started a new monthly show at The Face Radio in Brooklyn in August 2022 called "Xoloft", also the name of the party he throws. In 2021 he expanded into an educator role, as a course instructor for Garnish Music Production School in downtown Brooklyn, and currently teaching vinyl DJ classes at Superior Elevation in Brooklyn. Nico is a young and fresh female artist. Her parents told her, that her first spoken words were: Prokofiev and Rachmaninoff. Influenced by the work of her father as a music composer and conductor, she gets early in touch with classical music like Richard Wagner, Gustav Holst, Philip Glass and many russian composers. With the age of fourteen she started listening to electronic music; from this time Nico's musical interest moved from deep techno, over minimal music to modern club sounds. The spirit of the Doors and especially the life of Jim Morrison affected her personality in a strong way too. Nico is an ambivalent creature; on the one hand she lives on the dark side of the moon and gambles with deep, dark and mysterious emotions...but on the other hand she adores the purity of soul and nature. Seb was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and started his music career in 2000. His influences are from Old Scool. Until one day, he clashed whit the electronic music and welcome a sounds seeker. That was the reason for finding a job at Plasma records, the most recognized vinyl store in Argentina. Speedly he was the referent in that store for all DJ's and artists who bought new music. National and international artists, listening appraised his knowledge and recommendations. Healy took a lot of time searching new artists, listening differents kind of sounds and understanding the vanguard culture in music terms. This was one of the most valued experiences. He had an opportunity knocked the door in 2004 when he played for first time in the Shamrock Basement, one of the most recognized disco-pubs of the underground electrionic circuits in Buenos Aires for that times. Since then, he has played in a lot of local clubs, like Basement Club, Blue Velvet, Bahrein, Cocoliche, Chocolate, Sobremonte, Cobra Club, La Morocha, AET And also in big music festivals like SAMC (South America Conference) and "Personal Fest".
