“Concrete Husband is a NYC-based producer, DJ, composer, and flutist whose work bridges hypnotic techno, contemporary composition, and surrealist sound design.”

the whole biography
Concrete Husband is a NYC-based producer, DJ, composer, and flutist whose work bridges hypnotic techno, contemporary composition, and surrealist sound design. His forward-thinking dance records Piel and Pelvic Resonance, released on White Owl Records, received critical acclaim, with Document Journal describing his music as “redefining avant-garde composition.” Educated at New England Conservatory, he draws on a deep knowledge of musical history to create emotionally charged sonic narratives that blur the line between the sensual and the uncanny. His DJ sets move through hypnotic grooves and psychological tension. A fixture of the Brooklyn techno scene, he has been seen countless times at BASEMENT, Paragon, and Knockdown Center, as well as at WIRE Festival and Merge. He is a resident of the Mexico City collective Pervert. As a composer and flutist, he merges virtuosic performance with experimental approaches to sound. Integrating live flute into his work, he has developed a singular performance language that led Eartheater to invite him to open her 2024 international tour, alongside a headline debut at Silent Green. His compositions have been presented at Amant, MoMA PS1, Museum of Modern Art, MUNCH, and Palazzo Reale. He has also scored Dion Lee’s Shanghai Fashion Week presentation and contributed flute compositions to the A24 film Beau Is Afraid. Most recently, he released the experimental project "Where The Ashes Glow" on NNA Tapes.Techno on 2, Afrobeat on 1, Art Rock on 1 and Ethereal on 1. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on White Owl Records (3) (2) and Gonzo Circus (1); their RA profile also lists NNA Tapes and White Owl Records. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at pàn, H0L0, Trans-Pecos · often with Juana, Ne/Re/A, VILE, none of them here that night
“A lifelong student of rhythm, CSILLA evolved from a childhood spent behind drum kits and in performing arts studios to becoming a formidable architect of the global underground.”

the whole biography
A lifelong student of rhythm, CSILLA evolved from a childhood spent behind drum kits and in performing arts studios to becoming a formidable architect of the global underground. Born in New York City and now serving as a resident for Infra Boston, she has rapidly emerged as one of North America’s most compelling techno exports. Her trajectory is marked by performances at renowned institutions like Basement (NY), Domicile (Miami), and Kremwerk (Seattle), recently culminating in a landmark appearance alongside the legendary Jeff Mills at New York’s Knockdown Center. CSILLA’s artistry is a living map of her global immersion, with her presence felt across dancefloors in Germany, Greece, Moldova, Lebanon and more. Her signature sound is a high-octane fusion of raw analog techno, relentless machine-funk, and electro-infused EBM—an identity forged in the industrial warehouses from Texas to Detroit, the cavernous depths of Kyiv, and the bunker-born spirit of Berlin. As a producer, her work is as intentional as her DJ sets. With releases on esteemed labels such as Subsist Records and TYME Berlin, and contributions to high-impact projects like the Re:flect Recordings Ukrainian Fundraiser, she continues to expand her discography with a focus on both technical precision and social resonance. Backed by deep roots and a forward-thinking vision, CSILLA is cementing her place as a vital, long-term force on the international stage.House on 53, Techno on 33, Progressive House on 20 and Trance on 38. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on 541 (1), Armada (4) (1) and House Of Reptile (1); their RA profile also lists Subsist and Reflect Recordings. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Paragon, 315 Stagg st, Xpizza · often with Offtrack, SSG_, Meda-Ava, none of them here that night
“Drawing from Detroit’s foundational influence and the darker edges of contemporary European club music, she crafts immersive, tension-driven sets built on heavy percussion, layered textures, and driving low-end energy.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Drawing from Detroit’s foundational influence and the darker edges of contemporary European club music, she crafts immersive, tension-driven sets built on heavy percussion, layered textures, and driving low-end energy. Her approach to DJing centers on narrative and atmosphere, creating long-form journeys where tracks dissolve into one another through mounting pressure and cathartic release. Originally developing her craft in Boston through close collaboration with the INFRA collective, KXAH became deeply involved in the underground DIY circuit before relocating to New York City. During that time, she co-founded the Aversion event platform and label, helping build collaborative events and releases alongside collectives and artists from across the US and Europe, including Detroit Techno Militia, BCCO, Maison Fauna, and Uncoiled. Though no longer involved with the platform, the experience helped shape her approach to underground culture, collaboration, and independent artist infrastructure. Beyond the club, KXAH’s work extends deeply into experimental listening culture and interdisciplinary curation. Previously curating for Silence Please, a high-fidelity speaker building company and immersive listening showroom in New York, where she programmed and hosted experimental ambient sessions centred around intentional listening and sound system culture. Working within the showroom’s acoustically focused environment, she curated performances and listening experiences featuring artists such as Neel, Function, Amelia Holt, Amma Atteria and other experimental live performers, vinyl selectors, and sound artists. The series explored the intersection of ambient music, spatial sound, psychoacoustics, and deep listening, reflecting KXAH’s ongoing interest in the emotional and physical impact of sound beyond the dancefloor. Her independently curated “Fight Club” events further expanded this community-driven approach. Hosted inside a fighting gym under the motto “Fighters Not Lovers,” the series created a platform highlighting female and multidisciplinary creatives, fostering collaboration between DJs, visual artists, designers, performers, and emerging talent within underground communities. As a performer, KXAH has appeared at influential venues and underground institutions across New York, Detroit, Minneapolis, and the East Coast, including Basement, Paragon, Marble Bar, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Good Room, Refuge, and Leland City Club. She has also performed at festivals including The Great Beyond and Techtoit. In March 2026, KXAH released “The State Of The Mind” through Amsterdam-based label and collective Donker as part of the compilation DNKRVA004, a release featuring female artists from across the international underground electronic scene, with proceeds supporting breast cancer awareness and research initiatives in the Netherlands.
