In the span of her journey, Niara has become an integral thread in the renaissance of music, community, style, and expression in New York. Originally from Virginia, Niara's roots have heavily influenced her developing sound - from an array of massive basslines, melodic patterns, and throbbing kicks summed up in a soulful pulse. In New York, she's occupied spaces like Brooklyn Mirage, Good Room, House of Yes, Jupiter Disco, Le Bain, and Public Records spinning subgenres of House and Soul music. She's been proud to have shared decks with artists she admires such as Aluna, Easy Mo Bee, Full Crate, DJ Spinna, Rich Medina and more. Her gift has granted her access to the world, performing at festivals like Tropíco in Mexico or touring with Talib Kweli around the country and Switzerland. Niara has also toured for brands like Burberry and has DJ'd for other artists like Ari Lennox, Alxndr London, Masego, and Mosey Sumney. In 2020, Niara was featured in Essence magazine as a "spin doctor you need to know and cannot afford to be clueless about." In 2021, Niara made her second appearance on national TV on the OWN network. She performed original music for a tv special called Vital Voices of 2021, hosted by Oprah Winfrey. With many other notches on her belt, Niara is most proud of her evolving sound as she blossoms into her ideal producer. Her new residency NICHE is where you can trust her to experiment in her purest form. Expect her rhythmic selections to be submerged, vast, lush, and sometimes otherworldly.Recently at SILO, Jupiter Disco, Le Bain · often with Meedy, pizzi, Eli Escobar, none of them here that night

Born in Ohio and raised by New York clubs, Cosmo is a shining modern representative of the city’s Golden Age of DJing, in skill, in spirit, and in sensibility. A forever student of 90s subcultures, Cosmo is now an authority in connecting those dots, decompartmentalizing genres during her sets and revitalizing the club as a much needed space for expression and joy. Cosmo may open a night with her early entry points to dance music, gospel and funk and vocal-heavy RnB, and proceed to blend break beats with new jack swing or old-school house with tribal—all delivered with remarkable clarity of voice and a sense of self that fueled her fated teenage move to New York to DJ over a decade ago. Being from the Midwest, her house music literacy circles its epicenters and favors groovy records, warm basslines, playful vocals, and elating instrumentals that stir the spirit. Her deep knowledge, cultural curiosity, and refreshing authenticity make Cosmo one of New York’s most in-demand DJs, a regular at the most iconic clubs and a Fashion Week party go-to. She is a resident at Public Records, where she can explore every inch of her collection and join forces with legends like Sandy Rivera as well as other torchbearing peers. She’s represented the city sharing the decks with her heroes like Honey Dijon and Mike Dunn, and on esteemed platforms such as Benji B’s BBC Radio 1 show and Luke Solomon’s Classic Music Company show. As a longtime resident at The Lot Radio, Cosmo gets the opportunity to share everything she cherishes and often includes parts of her CD and magazine archives. Music has soundtracked Cosmo’s every move. Her gratitude for her practice is apparent, and her effervescence behind the decks reaches the crowd no matter the size of the room—a musical hug that holds dancers through times good and bad.Recently at public records, Black Flamingo, Jupiter Disco · often with Eli Escobar, Donis, Hidden Spheres, none of them here that night
“From Paris and Berlin to Lisbon, Marrakech and Indonesia - Christian has paved his way around the world into the ranks of selectors ushering in the electronic renaissance you see here before you.”

From Paris and Berlin to Lisbon, Marrakech and Indonesia - Christian has paved his way around the world into the ranks of selectors ushering in the electronic renaissance you see here before you. With backgrounds in fashion, fine & culinary arts - Tokyo’s idea of a dance floor could be compared to a painting or a well plated dish. His sound is comprised of deep emotion & strategic choices ranging from velvety House to magnetic Techno, warped Breaks and all in between the spectrum of dance music. Christian Tokyo has graced all but a few clubs here in New York - from Bronx house parties to the edge of Ridgewood. Now retiring a 3 year long run of weekly parties at NYC’s cherished bar - Home Sweet Home; Tokyo moves on to focus his time and energy on playing in more countries, building a namesake party in NYC and releasing forthcoming independent projects of his own. Having already been featured on video & radio platforms (NTS, Rinse, Lot Radio etc.) and already performing alongside newer artists and classic NYC legends like the Bronx’s world renowned duo the Martinez Brothers and James Blake (to name a few) Tokyo continues to step forward as a premier selector in a new wave of DJs firmly taking up sonic arms to represent their hometowns. Being raised out of a musical household with mentors from iconic underground New York City parties and establishments from young (The Loft & Limelight) solidified Christian's interest and dedication to his role in continuing the history of dance music. Expanding community around dance music and holding space for new and older members is Tokyo’s ultimate goal and if you’ve been fortunate enough to make his acquaintance at least just once - one would fully understand.
