SPF 50’s music weaves a kaleidoscopic tapestry of lush atmospherics, precise, percussive momentum and skittish euphoria. With a keen sense for narration, his music draws on deeper strains of techno, at times veering into syncopated bass pressure, to sculpt a hypnotic sonic world to immerse oneself in. His live set delves into deep psychedelia, creating raw moments on the dancefloor while never losing sight of the playful and blissed out. Originally from Sweden but living in Brooklyn, he is a resident of underground party Bob & Shirley. His EP ‘Ett Inre Rum’ comes out on Bliss Point in September 2026 and takes further aim on the eyes-closed inward journey, fueled by hypnotic repetition and an ear for spatial, textured sound design.Techno on 5, Acid on 4, House on 4 and Deep House on 3. styles on their catalogued releasesReleased on Bliss Point (1), Dzungla (1) and Fixed Rhythms (1); their RA profile also lists Acacia Baila. labels on their catalogued releases and on their RA profileRecently at Good Room, public records, Nowadays · often with Albert_, Fernelly, G-Style, none of them here that night

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, @SteenSchmidt is a house and techno DJ, blues rock guitar player, and singer. He has performed in clubs, bars, and toured statewide. He has recorded as a songwriter, guitarist, and singer since he was 13 years young. Along with clubbing since he was 18, Steen is familiar with the NYC underground scene. Years later, he began djing parties and venues around Brooklyn having residencies at Happyfun Hideaway, SILO, Rash, and many more. Steen hosts open decks at SILO for over a year, and also at Happyfun Hideaway for over three years, in which he collaborates with many local DJs to help many beginner DJs get experience or get used to playing live. His party series Debauch has featured artists Frankie Bones, Kush Jones, Concrete Husband, S'aint Panic, Alissa Brianna, SPF50, MZ3, and more in underground venues, SILO, Jupiter Disco, and Earthly Delights. His DJ performances range from classic, deep and tech house to raw, deep, hypnotic and hard techno, along with elements of electro, breaks and more.Recently at SILO, Sleepwalk · often with ceviché, Oppo-Normalè, DJ Nope, none of them here that night
“Ben Zo has brought his acid-infused, harmonic mixing to vastly-different venues throughout Brooklyn including H0L0, Mansions, SILO, Trans-Pecos and Xanadu; and for every conceivable set time, whether it's sunset at Fourth World, New Year's Eve all-night-long at Happyfun Hideaway, or opening as well as closing Bossa Nova Civic Club, Jupiter Disco and Mood Ring, among other local cornerstones.”

Ben Zo has brought his acid-infused, harmonic mixing to vastly-different venues throughout Brooklyn including H0L0, Mansions, SILO, Trans-Pecos and Xanadu; and for every conceivable set time, whether it's sunset at Fourth World, New Year's Eve all-night-long at Happyfun Hideaway, or opening as well as closing Bossa Nova Civic Club, Jupiter Disco and Mood Ring, among other local cornerstones. A versatile selector with a filmmaking background, his consistently cosmic palette largely encompasses heady house and celestial techno, under the heavy influence of Italo, IDM, trance and other melodic samples. Blending the familiar and esoteric in search of vistas that evoke the natural world, he crafts uniquely psychedelic moments that echo long after in thought. He is the organizer of BUSH DÜF, a Bushwick-based party focused on 'cosmic, colorful and cathartic' techno. His guest mixes have been aired by other stations in New York such as 8 Ball Radio and Newtown Radio (of which he is a former resident), and around the world including Internet Public Radio, London's Subtle Radio, Athens' Fade Radio, Bangkok Community Radio and a three-hour mix for Manila Community Radio.Recently at Echo Bravo, Newtown Radio, Sleepwalk · often with cruz ctrl, Dio Garcia, Interpretive Sound, none of them here that night
