Brooklyn-based DJ Arianna Danae brings an unmistakable New York energy to the dance floor, shaped by her Armenian heritage and a lifelong curiosity for music. Guided by instinct rather than convention, she approaches every set with an ear for the unexpected, weaving together timeless records, forgotten gems, and fresh discoveries to create moments that feel both familiar and entirely new. Since emerging from Brooklyn’s underground scene in 2018, Arianna has built a reputation as a thoughtful selector and respected voice within the community. She found her first home at Jupiter Disco with her monthly Rebelle party, which laid the groundwork for her career in artist programming and event curation. From there, she became a resident at Flash in Washington, D.C., later expanding into booking and programming before joining the programming team at Elsewhere in Brooklyn. She is also a longtime resident of Laylit, the internationally celebrated party championing music and culture from North Africa, the Middle East, and Southwest Asia. Living in Brooklyn by way of Karachi, Pakistan, Dynoman is widely credited as an instrumental figure in the formation and development of the Karachi underground and Pakistan’s electronic music scene. He has been producing electronic music under the Dynoman moniker since 2009, and co-founded Forever South, Pakistan’s first internationally recognized digital label, in 2012. Over the years, his sound has evolved alongside his lived experience, remaining rhythm-forward, percussion-driven, and rooted in movement. After relocating to New York in 2017, Dynoman founded Rare Frequency Transmissions, which he continues to co-run. He is a frequent presence in the Brooklyn underground and self-releases much of his work through Dynoman Music, showcasing a wide breadth of styles and approaches. When stepping into the booth, his sets are shaped by the moment rather than pre-planning, often unfolding without a fixed trajectory as he responds to the energy of the space and the room. In 2023, Dynoman co-founded Tarka, a project celebrating diaspora through artistic practice.
