In the day time you can catch them hosting their monthly show at Lot Radio titled What is an Ocean Between Us?. Inspired by the thinking of Claudia Jones, Suzanne Cesaire, and Edouard Glissant the series aims to celebrate the innate the condition of being Carribean, as being Carribean is to practice errantry — it is to search for one another across oceans, time, and in this case through sound. They've had the pleasure of hosting this series at both E-Flux and Montez Press as well. At night, DUNESKA explores a multitude of sounds as hard hitting as the city they're from including Dembow, Juke, Techno, and more. Their goal is simple — that you walk out the club feeling sexier than when you stepped in.

jaql is a stalwart member of the bubbling jungle scene in NYC. Through a common thread of break beats, texture seeking and wobbly basslines she is keen on world building via her sets. She runs a party series titled ‘Jaywalking’ which grew out of a deep yearning to hear more jungle on local dance floors. Beyond platforming local and name brand jungle DJs, Jaywalking also looks to foster the sound in new ways, inviting people who don't normally play jungle to interpret the sound. She is a member of 123, a collective and DIY venue based in Brooklyn hosting a wide range of events from weeknight socials to full blown raves featuring 123’s well-loved basement soundsystem. She has supported Tim Reaper, Dwarde, Sully, Dev/Null, CCL, Objekt and many more spangled line ups in recent years.

What began as the Latin-industrial-hardcore fury of FALSE WITNESS has metamorphosed into something far more seductive: JUNIOR M. The M stands for Machine or Makina in Spanish, a nod to the rewiring of their production practice. Additionally, "Junior Makina" was one of their earliest monikers for studio creations that landed on the more playful side of club and house music in 2012. Their sound is queer, a touch sleazy, and aimed squarely for sweat-soaked dancefloors. Inspired by their years living in Berlin and DJing regularly at clubs like Lab.oratory, Renate and RSO, they’ve crafted a unique sound that blends Italo disco’s yearning synth lines with Dembow’s propulsion. Their sets, which move fluidly across genres, are engineered to feel cosmic and flirtatious. JUNIOR M officially landed in late 2023 with City Flowers (EMS021), their debut EP and first release under the new name. The arrival also coincided with the False Witness farewell tour, a victory lap across Asia that hit Singapore, Australia, Japan, China, and South Korea. JUNIOR M is now based in New York City and serves as one of the primary organizers of the club night series AUTOMESSE.

LISAS is a DJ emerging from the New York techno scene whose expertise spans a multitude of roles. From working behind the scenes as a sound engineer in recording studios on critically acclaimed albums, performing in the band The Rapture, to producing music for fashion shows; all while repairing vintage analog synthesizers and outboard gear- her journey is diverse and captivating. Her transition to DJing was an evolution grounded in her extensive knowledge of sound, which illuminates her live sets and mixes with sharp selections that provide a driving and genre-defying ride always innately tailored to the energy of the audience. Her unique style she refers to as “post-apocalyptic arpeggiators meet mermaid synthesis” has earned her a coveted spot as resident of Le Bain in New York City. Born and raised in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, LustSickPuppy is a curator of chaos, invoking spirits through shared ritual. Blending elements of punk, gabber, drum n bass and rap, they deliver warped melodies over hyperactive beats at breakneck speed. Following their debut EP Cosmic Brownie, 2022 saw LustSickPuppy releasing their sophomore EP As Hard As You Can, featuring collaborations with Bonnie Baxter of Kill Alters and Andy Morin of Death Grips. „The smiley face paint represents me existing as a black queer person having to smile my way through this fucked up world. It’s the idea that if you can’t see past this face, you will never be able to connect with me deeply.”

Over the past decade, the New York-based artist has quietly amassed a loyal following through expansive DJ sets that defy genre & style - a testament to his deep crates and skilled mixing. Originally from Singapore, Marco co-runs the Darker Than Wax record label & is a weekly resident on The Lot Radio in Brooklyn. Coming out of a busy 2024, with mixes / features on Resident Advisor (“a true digger’s delight”), DJ Mag and XLR8R (“a mix that’ll suck you in wherever you are”), he’s hit a stride with appearances across the US / Europe and Asia at clubs and parties like Nowadays (NYC), Public Records (NYC), Wonderfruit Festival (Thailand), Dimensions Festival (Croatia), Rhythm Section (London), Potato Head (Bali). Marco explores old and new underground styles in the spirit of educating and entertaining dancers, unafraid to jump between Obscure Disco to 90s House, Detroit Techno to Jungle, you’ll have to come along for the ride to hear what’s next. Pure Immanence is the collaborative conceptual DJ project of Nick Bazzano and Kiddo Sincere. In their performances, Pure Immanence seeks to activate a sonic plane of consistency that evokes multiple musical atmospheres and genres, from techno to ambient, to house, trance, progressive, experimental, and beyond. This is an experiment using sound to gain access to psychedelic intensities and affective potentials immanent to the act of listening and dancing to music together. Pure Immanence has held a well-received eponymous monthly Wednesday-night residency at Bossa Nova Civic Club since 2016. Pure Immanence is also associated with the Unter collective, having performed as residents and having curated ambient programming for their various underground queer rave projects for years. Pure Immanence is proud to have collaborated with and performed at many notable nightclubs, raves, festivals, and events both in the states and abroad, including Whole Festival (Germany), Buttons (://aboutblank, Berlin), secondnature (Seattle), multiple appearances at both Sustain-Release (NY) and Fourth World (NYC), and many others.

“Soo Intoit began DJ'ing in 2020, when booked for a Zoom party.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Soo Intoit began DJ'ing in 2020, when booked for a Zoom party. Believing it was a drag booking, she was informed a week before that the party actually wanted her to play music for an hour. After spending lots of time going out and working as a host, and frequently mentioning the desire to be a DJ, she decided this was the time to commit. She had her beginnings (other than the aforementioned Zoom party) in intimate basement gatherings, and later on rooftops. With her job being closed at the time, she was at an advantage, and practiced very frequently. By late 2021, she was presented with her first opportunity to produce a party--which is now CRITICAL HIT. What started as a bi-weekly Wednesday party with humble attendance, evolved into an event that maintains a strong following and crowd, and now takes place once a month on the weekends. This party features a PS2 at almost every event, and sometimes operates games at other parties, showing her interests in building communities around mutual hobbies, as well as providing a unique experience in what she does. The gaming influence is reflected in her DJ sets, too. She produces Juicy Fruit, a recurring bar night with a focus on danceable music the crowd can sometimes sing along too, and Omega. Omega is her sci-fi themed dance party, which she co-produces.

Teeyam (Left Hand Path) is an Iranian-American DJ and producer based in NYC—his sound traverses zones of techno/house, acid, electro, breaks, wave, and brooding psychedelia. Drawing inspiration from his love of experimental cinema, soundbites and samples interweave with unhinged grooves, forging an uncanny sonic tapestry that explores the fringes of dance music. He has DJ’d for over 15 years–cutting his teeth in San Francisco, where he grew to be a pivotal figure in the Bay Area scene. His multimedia cinema and dark dance party, “They’re Here” held residency at Underground SF and he curated Mutek San Francisco. In 2021, Mixmag ranked his contribution to the mix series, Pi Pi Pi, as one of the best mixes of the year calling it a “sweltering and devilish blend of sounds” and “fun as hell rave music”. In 2024, He launched the monthly event series called, House Of Baba, which spotlights SWANA Musicians and DJs, delivering cutting-edge sounds in the diasporic experimental dance music scene. Teeyam is one half of a new experimental dance music project with the prolific, John Barera. PHREAKERS is self-described as “Sludge-induced gutter techno acid punk”. Their first EP “Trash Can” is out now on Left Hand Path and the tracks are already played by world-class DJs around the world.
