Asha Jasz, a Polish-born vinyl enthusiast now based in Brooklyn, NY, has been passionate about music from a young age. A dedicated digger with an ever-growing collection of records, her infectious smile and vibrant energy light up dance floors wherever she plays. Asha’s sets take listeners on a journey through sound, influenced by the European music scene she grew up with, and seamlessly blended with newly discovered vinyl treasures from record shops around the globe. Her selections span underground house, techno, electro, minimal, and timeless classics, creating a sonic journey that bridges the past, present, and future. Asha also has a deep love for ambient and downtempo records, which she occasionally weaves into her performances for a unique touch. In addition to her DJing, Asha plays an integral role in Brooklyn Sway, a vinyl-only music label, and is a co-founder of Freshly Pressed, a music collective and event series focused on raising funds for music-oriented nonprofit organizations in the New York City area.

“Connie Yin has been a major contributor to New York City’s underground electronic scene for almost 20 years.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Connie Yin has been a major contributor to New York City’s underground electronic scene for almost 20 years. With a deep fluid mix of forward thinking 4/4 styles and a defined rhythmic sensibility that flows from her alter egos as a thumping rock drummer and newbie bass player, Connie is a steady crowd favorite and an accomplished pro who always brings the goods. Whether it is as resident DJ for ReSolute, one of the world’s hottest itinerant underground parties, or on the road touring from Brazil to Dubai, Connie’s aptitude and vigorous devotion to her craft have earned her turns alongside a litany of techno’s best. Connie uses her own success to inspire others to enter the world of DJing. To date she has privately trained 15 students. Connie has been producing electronic music since 2009, under the ‘Constar’ moniker as well as Connie Yin, with a dozen releases available digitally and on vinyl, under labels such as Bedrock Records. Currently, she is producing with long time friend Karina Chaczabian as C&K, with recent vinyl releases; and J Gabriel, on various projects. Connie’s love for music spans beyond electronic music; for the last 20 years, Connie has always been involved with at least one band at all times. Current live music projects include songwriting and drumming with post punk band Jilted Lover; playing bass guitar with rock/punk band Bricklip; creating techno synthpop in synth & machine heavy band Chic Choc; and playing keyboards and drums in Bover Cand - an 80s cover band....and also making music videos, her newfound passion. Connie also enjoys romantic strolls on the beach, candlelit dinners, and cuddling.
Their RA profile lists Bedrock Records, Airdrop Records, NOSI Music, Jyre Records and 3 more.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
He fell in love with electronic music at a young age attending drum n bass and house music parties in PR. But it was in 2009 when he moved to the East Coast of the US that he was captivated by the art of mixing and collecting records, something that he stays very loyal to, strictly playing ALL VINYL sets. Emma likes to keep his sets varied and take the crowd through a musical journey, from dub to house to minimal and techno…none of his sets will sound the same. In 2012 Emma moved to in Brooklyn NY and got involved in the ever growing and evolving local underground scene. He has performed at venues like: The Panther Room (Output), The Roof (Output), Good Room, Analog BKny, TBA, Bushwick AV afterhours and Bossa Nova Civic Club, just to mention a few. In 2016 he joined forces with his partner in crime K.O. and together they launched Vinyl Please, a series of parties showcasing vinyl culture, praising veteran artists & labels, while also highlighting new and up-and-coming artists.” So far they had the pleasure of hosting talented local and intentional DJs including Subb-an (One Records, 2020 Vision), Dennis Rodgers (112 Crew, Robots), Claire (Archipel, Monoclap- MTL), Alix Alvarez (Taverna Tracks, Secret Society), Martinez (Concealed Sounds- Copenhagen), Andrew Grant (Sheik-n-Beik, Circoloco), Ohm Hourani (Anoma Records MTL) ,O.BEE (Resolute), Willie Graff (Freerange Recordings, Pacha Ibiza), Michel Harruch & Dominguez (Mnmlktchn), Anthony Collins (Frank & Tony, Scissor & Thread), Connie (ReSolute), Francis Harris aka Adultnapper (Frank & Tony, Scissor & Thread), Lauer (Tuff City Kids, Robert Johnson- DE), and Onionz (Intec, Electrik Soul) who have delighted the crowds with their record collections. In 2018 Vinyl Please teamed up with Dojo Sessions and Nine to Fire to launch Praxis, a monthly event held at intimate Brooklyn underground venues showcasing live acts and vinyl only Dj sets.” Currently a member of the Brooklyn Sway gang in NYC!

    the whole biography
Jay Prouty (Brooklyn Sway, Praxis, Dojo Sessions, Cenote Records, NYC) Frankie Knuckles once said: “The minute you think you’re greater than the music you’re finished”. Most of us are still trying to identify the description of the term underground in today’s diversified world of electronic music, but Jay has mastered the description. His dj sets are a constant reminder that music is greater than us. Jay is a house music dj, producer, and vinyl connoisseur with over 20 years of experience, currently living in Brooklyn, NYC. He relocated to the Big Apple from Boston where he played an integral role in the development of the house music scene by exposing the city to new and up-coming artists: including first appearances by Booka Shade, Peace Division, Seth Troxler, Dyed Soundorom, and many more. As a dj, Jay held residencies at some of Boston’s most prominent clubs inducing Avalon and Rise Afterhours. Currently Jay is a regularly in the NYC and Washington DC club scenes with previous appearances at Output and regular appearances at TBA Brooklyn and Flash in DC, where he hosts a monthly event titled “Brooklyn Sway”, which showcases local Brooklyn underground heads. His all vinyl dj sets are a journey through the history of house music, weaving in the old with the new, with a focus on hypnotic rhythms and old skool acapellas. His recent production efforts include a well-received vinyl only EP titled "Dojo Sessions Vol. 1" with David Paglia, a single titled "Style" released on Boston-based Cenote records, a single on Soul Clap’s sister label and compilation DJ’s for Climate Change titled “Pelican”, a forthcoming remix for Brooklyn based band Kamalata, as well as an EP with Brooklyn-based artist After Touch. www.soundcloud.com/jayprouty http://cenoterecords.com/artist/jay-prouty/ Dojo Sessions Vol.1 https://soundcloud.com/davidpaglia/sets/dojo-sessions-volume-1-dojo-vinyl Style (Cenote Records) https://www.beatport.com/track/style-original-mix/7081897
