Alexis Aguilar (ALL EXITS ) is a Brooklyn based DJ & producer who was nurtured by the underground techno scenes of El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. At the forefront of his aesthetic is a driving industrial sound with elements of experimental cinematic soundscapes and hard grooves. He has contribute in the underground scene playing venues such as Bossa Nova, Trans Pecos, Purgatory and other underground secret locations. Concrete Husband is a NYC-based producer, DJ, composer, and flutist whose work bridges hypnotic techno, contemporary composition, and surrealist sound design. His forward-thinking dance records Piel and Pelvic Resonance, released on White Owl Records, received critical acclaim, with Document Journal describing his music as “redefining avant-garde composition.” Educated at New England Conservatory, he draws on a deep knowledge of musical history to create emotionally charged sonic narratives that blur the line between the sensual and the uncanny. His DJ sets move through hypnotic grooves and psychological tension. A fixture of the Brooklyn techno scene, he has been seen countless times at BASEMENT, Paragon, and Knockdown Center, as well as at WIRE Festival and Merge. He is a resident of the Mexico City collective Pervert. As a composer and flutist, he merges virtuosic performance with experimental approaches to sound. Integrating live flute into his work, he has developed a singular performance language that led Eartheater to invite him to open her 2024 international tour, alongside a headline debut at Silent Green. His compositions have been presented at Amant, MoMA PS1, Museum of Modern Art, MUNCH, and Palazzo Reale. He has also scored Dion Lee’s Shanghai Fashion Week presentation and contributed flute compositions to the A24 film Beau Is Afraid. As a lifelong musician, Estro has always explored the visceral aspects of sound. From a young age, her interest in sonics manifested in a boundless desire for experimentation. With a background in jazz music as a trumpet player since childhood, Estro’s experiences with improvisation and performance on the stage found their way to the DJ booth. Her fervent, intense passion for expression and movement finds its way into textural, spine-tingling production and jacking, sweaty, sexy sessions on the dancefloor. Outspoken, driving, and deep, Estro's performances and sets often feel like a manifesto of sorts, rolling and driving tension to its limit and pushing the envelope for New York's musical landscape. Estro's musical explorations have led her to digging through the deep, rich history of techno & house, blending timeless, smashing deep cuts with some of the genre's newest, most novel offerings. Her philosophy of maintaining digging culture leads to an eclectic, potent, and deeply rooted sound, prepared to be pushed into a futuristic and forward-thinking direction. Serene, jazzy, atmospheric selections of deep house, minimal, and dub techno are intertwined with driving, thumping peak-hours techno & trance. Estro uses her ever-expanding knowledge of her selections to captivate the dancefloor and continue to expand the capabilities of sound. As the founder of Orchidance, her new event series and personal project, Estro seeks to take her explorations of dance music and its surrounding culture into a more intentional and inclusive space.
